A display device is provided which includes a display panel having pixels, each pixel having a pixel electrode, a common electrode, an image line to supply an image signal to the plurality of pixels, and a transparent conductive film disposed at a surface on a viewer side. The display device display panel, also includes a voltage generation unit to supply a voltage having an AC component superposed on a DC component to the transparent conductive film. The AC component is a voltage with reverse polarity with respect to a spike-shaped voltage occurring at the transparent conductive film to thereby cancel out effects of the spike-shaped voltage on the transparent conductive film.

Display device

In spite of an increase in the size of a liquid crystal display panel, it is possible to prevent the defective connection of a flexible wiring board to a transparent substrate of the liquid crystal display panel. A liquid crystal display device includes a pair of transparent substrates arranged to oppose each other across a liquid crystal, for which they are utilized to form a chamber, a plurality of pixels formed along a spreading direction of the liquid crystal, driving circuits for supplying video signals to the pixels, and a flexible wiring board for supplying signals to the input sides of the driving circuits from a substrate on which a control circuit is mounted, the flexible wiring board being divided into a plurality of portions.

Liquid crystal display device

A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel on a mold, and a backlight placed in the mold. The backlight includes a light guide panel, an LED provided on a side surface of the liquid guide panel, and other components. A main flexible wiring substrate is attached to the liquid crystal display panel, and extends to a back surface of the mold. The LED is mounted on an LED flexible wiring substrate. At least one electronic component mounted on the main flexible wiring substrate is arranged on an end surface of the mold. Then, an insulating sheet is provided between the at least one electronic component and the LED to prevent short circuit between them, instead of using a partition wall for electrical insulation.

A liquid crystal display module includes a liquid crystal display panel, a backlight device arranged on a back surface of the liquid crystal display panel, the backlight device being constituted of a light guide plate and a reflection sheet arranged on a back surface of the light guide plate, an insulation sheet arranged on a back surface of the light guide plate, a flexible printed circuit board having one end thereof mounted on the liquid crystal display panel and another end thereof disposed at a back surface side of the insulating sheet, and at least one LED formed on the flexible printed circuit board and faced to the light guide plate. The reflection sheet, the insulation sheet, and the flexible printed circuit board extend over different distances from the at least one LED in this order.

Liquid crystal display module

The present invention provides a touch-panel-equipped display module which arranges a touch panel on a display panel and can maintain a favorable display obviating the adhesion of the touch panel to the display module even when the touch panel is strongly pushed. In the touch-panel-equipped display module which arranges the touch panel on the display panel, the touch panel arranges a plurality of first dot spacers on a surface thereof which faces the display panel in an opposed manner.

A liquid crystal display module includes a liquid crystal display panel having a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between a pair of substrates, an illuminating device disposed behind the liquid crystal display panel, an upper frame, and a lower frame. The upper and lower frames fix therebetween the liquid crystal display panel and the illuminating device as an integral unit in cooperation with each other. The upper frame is provided with at least one recessed portion in a sidewall thereof, the at least one recessed portion is set back in a direction parallel with major surfaces of the substrates from the sidewall, and a bottom of the at least one recessed portion is provided with a tapped hole adapted for engagement with a screw for mounting the liquid crystal display module to external equipment.

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display module which can prevent the generation of display irregularities. The liquid crystal display module includes a liquid crystal display panel and a backlight device arranged on a back surface of the liquid crystal display panel. The backlight device is constituted of a light guide plate and a reflection sheet arranged on a back surface of the light guide plate. The liquid crystal display module includes a flexible printed circuit board having one end thereof mounted on the liquid crystal display panel and the other end thereof formed on a back side of the reflection sheet in an overlapping manner. An insulation sheet is arranged between the other end of the flexible printed circuit board and the reflection sheet.

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display module or a liquid crystal display device which can prevent the generation of display irregularities. In the liquid crystal display module which includes a liquid crystal display panel, a frame-like mold frame, alight guide plate, and a reflection sheet, the liquid crystal display panel is arranged on an upper side of the mold frame, the light guide plate and the reflection sheet are arranged on a lower side of the mold frame, the reflection sheet is adhered to the mold frame using an adhesive agent which is formed on at least two sides of the reflection sheet which face each other in an opposed manner, and a portion of one side of the reflection sheet on which the adhesive agent is arranged has a length larger than a length of a portion of another side of the reflection sheet on which the adhesive agent is arranged.

Liquid crystal display module and liquid crystal display device

A matrix panel display apparatus includes plural signal lines and plural scanning lines intersecting each other and, near each intersection point, a picture element including a picture element electrode, a counter electrode, a display medium disposed between the picture element electrode and the counter electrode, and a transistor for applying image signals from the signal line to the picture element electrode. The transistor is controlled in response to scanning signals received on a scanning line. An auxiliary signal generating circuit generates auxiliary signals for increasing effective voltages of the image signals and applies the auxiliary signals to the picture elements while each of the transistors is in a non-conducting state and each of the picture elements is not selected. Preferably, the auxiliary signal generating circuit applies the auxiliary signals to the picture elements during a predetermined period in which all of the transistors are in the non-conducting state and none of the picture elements is selected.

A liquid crystal display monitor includes a liquid crystal display module having a liquid crystal display panel and an illuminating device fixed between first and second frames. The rear surface of the second frame is provided with a tapped hole engaging with a screw, and a thickness of the second frame in the vicinity of the tapped hole is greater than that of the remainder of the second frame. The illuminating device includes plural line light sources behind the panel and a reflector behind the light sources. The reflector is shaped to have portions protruding toward the panel between the light sources and to have portions convex toward the second frame, and the tapped hole is provided in portions of the second frame corresponding to the portions of the reflector protruding toward the panel.
