A connector includes a module and a housing that accommodates the module. The module includes multiple contacts each including a first contact part to contact a board, a second contact part to contact a connection object, and a body extending at angle from the first contact part to the second contact part; and a molded part insert-molded with the contacts arranged as inserts. The molded part covers a portion of the body part through a surface of the first contact part of each of the contacts facing toward the board. In each contact, a width of the portion of the body covered with the molded part is smaller than a width of a spring portion of the body. The spring portion is exposed from the molded part and supports the second contact part in such a manner as to allow its displacement.

A connector includes a terminal including a base, first extension parts that extend from the base toward a first end of the connector and second extension parts that extend from the base toward a second end of the connector; an insulating layer formed on the terminal; a signal line that is formed on the insulating layer and extends from an end of one of the first extension parts to an end of one of the second extension parts, the signal line being connected to a signal wire of a board; and a ground line that is formed on the insulating layer, is electrically connected to the terminal, and extends from an end of another one of the first extension parts to an end of another one of the second extension parts, the ground line being connected to a ground wire of the board.

A contact of a connector includes a board contact part to be connected to a circuit board; a first contact part including an extension part that is connected to the board contact part and extends in an insertion direction in which a target object is inserted into the connector, a first bent part that extends from the extension part and is bent to one side, and a first contact point that is located closer to an end of the first contact part than the first bent part and contacts the target object; and a second contact part including a second bent part that is connected to the board contact part and is bent to the one side, and a second contact point that is located closer to an end of the second contact part than the second bent part and contacts the target object.

A card edge connector includes a connector including a target engagement part, a substrate that can be inserted into and removed from the connector, a fixing part fixed to the substrate, and a lock that secures the substrate to the connector. The lock includes a shaft fixed to the fixing part and configured to slide in the direction of insertion and removal of the substrate and rotate around an axis, an urging part that exerts force on the shaft and biasing the shaft toward the direction of the substrate, and an engagement part provided on the shaft, configured to engage the target engagement part.

A probe is made to contact an electrode terminal in an electric circuit or an electronic part for an electric measurement of the electric circuit or the electronic part. The probe includes a terminal portion which is brought in contact with the electrode terminal at one end of the probe, a spring portion in which U-shaped unit portions are arrayed in a zigzag formation, and a housing portion which surrounds the spring portion. A connector includes a plurality of contact modules each including a contact member and a contact module body covering the contact member, and a plurality of shield members each including a shield body part corresponding to the contact module body of the contact module. The contact modules and the shield members are alternately arranged and accommodated close to each other in a housing. The shield body part of each shield member includes a first hook part configured to be engaged with a rear end of the contact module body in order to prevent the shield body part from turning up from the contact module body.

A card connector for inserting a card therein is disclosed. The card connector includes a housing body having a contact, a cover covering the housing body, a slider being movable between a card ejected position and a card attached position. The slider includes a slider body and a leaf spring part attached to the slider body for elastically locking to the card. The card connector includes an excess bending preventing part configured to prevent permanent deformation of the leaf spring part by the card being inserted into the card connector in an irregular manner.
