A bag in which a content is put and of which a mouth portion is not sealed, is disposed in a substantially horizontal attitude in a takeoff area. A height direction position of an expected hold part of the bag and a height direction position of a hold member are caused to correspond to each other. The hold member is caused to hold the expected hold part of the bag disposed in the takeoff area in a state where the height direction position of the expected hold part of the bag and the height direction position of the hold member correspond to each other. The hold member is moved to transfer the bag from the takeoff area to a delivery area after the hold member holds the expected hold part of the bag disposed in the takeoff area.

Bag conveyance method and bag conveyance apparatus

An ultrasonic sealing method and device for a bag, in which pressurized gas spray outlets () are provided at distal ends of a horn () and an anvil () so as to be used as gas blowing nozzles, the distal ends of the horn and the anvil are placed against a cutout () formed in a gas compartment () of the bag, a gas is blown into the gas compartment to inflate it, and then the horn and the anvil clamp films surrounding the cutout while the gas blowing is in progress, so that ultrasonic sealing is carried out by the horn to the films to trap the gas inside the gas compartment. A contact member () is provided directly under the horn. The contact member is pressed against inflated film () of the gas compartment, and in this state ultrasonic vibration energy is supplied to the horn.

Ultrasonic sealing method and device for bags

A horn and an anvil are moved toward and away from each other by axially reciprocating a driving rod and thereby reciprocatingly rotating a forked lever in a predetermined angle range. The horn and the anvil are moved toward and pressed against each other with a predetermined force with a bag mouth b held therebetween. A sensor detects the position of a second mounting block secured to the rear end of a sliding shaft of the anvil, thereby detecting the distance between respective pressing surfaces of the horn and the anvil, i.e. the thickness m of a portion of the bag mouth held between the pressing surfaces. When the thickness m is not less than a predetermined threshold value M, a vibrator is activated to perform sealing. When the thickness m is less than the threshold value M, no sealing is performed.

Ultrasonic sealing apparatus for use in bag filling and packaging machine

A method and an apparatus of supplying a bag are provided in which position information on a bag width in a direction parallel to a conveyance path at a part in a neighborhood of a bag opening of a conveyed bag and position information on a center of the bag width are obtained, an intermittent conveyance distance of a conveyance unit is adjusted based on the position information on the center of the bag width so that the center of the bag width of the bag stopping at a takeoff position is placed on a reference plane, and an interval of the pair of holding members positioned at the takeoff position is adjusted based on the position information on the bag width.

Method and apparatus of supplying a bag

A rotary-type bag filling and packaging machine including a synchronized table () provided above a rotary table (), which has a plurality of gripper pairs (), and gas injection nozzles (), which are provided on the synchronized table () so as to correspond to the gripper pairs (). The synchronized table () rotates co-axially with the rotary table () in an intermittent manner by a first servo motor (), which is independent from the drive source of the rotary table (). A second servo motor () which raises and lowers the gas injection nozzle () is provided on the synchronized table () in conjunction with each gas injection nozzle ().

Rotary-type bag filling and packaging machine

A duplex-type product bag unloading apparatus including two downwardly opening and closing chucks and a chuck-moving mechanism for reciprocating the chucks between positions for receiving and discharging product bags. The relative positions of the two chucks are changed as they are moved from the receiving position to the discharging position by the chuck-moving mechanism, so that in the receiving position, the chucks are arranged in a single row in the bag width direction of the grasped product bags, and in the discharging position, the chucks are in a single row in the thickness direction of the grasped product bags. The chuck-moving mechanism is comprised of a pivot arm and a chuck-supporting frame rotatably mounted to the pivot arm, and the two chucks are rotatably mounted on both sides of the chuck-supporting frame. The chuck-supporting frame and the chucks rotate in synchronism with the pivotal motion of the pivot arm.
