An output torque control system includes a control unit which includes an acceleration mode detection unit and an output torque control unit. The acceleration mode detection unit selects a normal acceleration mode which includes output torque information indicating an increased amount of output torque of an electric motor as time elapses or a rapid acceleration mode which includes output torque information indicating the increased amount of output torque of the electric motor as time elapses more largely than in the normal acceleration mode based on a result of a detection by a depressing speed detection unit. A motor torque control device of an electrically-driven vehicle equipped with a motor serving as a driving source, is configured to limit an output of the motor when both a brake pedal and an accelerator pedal of the electrically-driven vehicle are stepped. A motor limit torque, which is an upper limit value of a command torque for the motor, is changed depending on a vehicle velocity of the electrically-driven vehicle detected by a vehicle velocity detecting unit and a stepping amount of the brake pedal detected by a brake pedal stepping amount detecting unit.

In a vehicle that generates creep torque using an electric motor, a controlling means that causes, on the basis of the results of the detecting by the vehicle speed detecting means and the braking operation detecting means, the electric motor to generate the creep torque, wherein if the brake is operated when the creep torque is generated, the controlling means decreases the creep torque by a first level, if the brake is not operated when the creep torque is generated, the controlling means increases or decrease the creep torque in a level range on the basis of the speed of the vehicle detected by the vehicle speed detecting means, and the first level is a decreasing level larger than a possible maximum decreasing level in the level range.

A degradation estimating apparatus for an unburned fuel component adsorption catalyst, which is connected with an internal combustion engine and has an unburned fuel component adsorbent and an oxygen storage component is provided. The apparatus includes a degradation estimating unit for making estimation for a degradation of the unburned fuel component adsorption catalyst on the basis of a first term and a second term. The first term is from the cancellation of the fuel supply to detecting a variation of an upstream side air-fuel ratio occurring due to the increase of the reductant quantity in the exhaust gas. The second term is from the cancellation of the fuel supply to detecting of a variation of the downstream side air-fuel ratio due to an increase of the reductant quantity.

Degradation estimating apparatus for unburned component adsorption catalyst

Disclosed herein is an ignition timing controller for a sparing engine. The controller is equipped with a variable swirl forming device for changing over the state of swirling of air, which is flowing into an intake port, in accordance with the operation zone of the engine, so that an optimal control of ignition timing is assured even at the time of malfunction of the variable swirl forming device or during a transition period such as a delay in response by the variable swirl device. The controller is hence equipped additionally with an ignition timing setting device for receiving information on the operation zone of the engine and setting ignition timing information corresponding to the state of swirling on the basis of the information on the operation zone, a swirl detection device for detecting the actual state of operation of the variable swirl forming device, and a swirl ignition timing correction device for permitting further correction of the ignition timing information from ignition timing setting device on the basis of a detection signal from the swirl detecting device.
