In a drive force transmission apparatus, when an input shaft is rotated in a normal rotational direction, a rotational force of the input shaft is transmitted to an output shaft through a one-way clutch to rotate the output shaft at a rotational speed, which is the same as a rotational speed of the input shaft. At this time, an input side sub-shaft is freed from an output side sub-shaft. In contrast, when the input shaft is rotated in a reverse rotational direction, the rotational force of the input shaft is transmitted to the output shaft through an input gear, a first gear, the input side sub-shaft, a two-way clutch, the output side sub-shaft, a second gear and an output gear. At this time, the output shaft is freed from an intermediate shaft.

Drive force transmission apparatus

An electric control device includes: a cam having a variable distance between an outer periphery and a center; a control shaft having one end, which contacts the outer periphery of the cam, and displaceable according to a rotation of the cam to adjust a valve lift amount; a motor rotating the cam; an angle detector detecting a rotation angle of the cam; and a controller. The cam includes multiple steps arranged on the outer periphery. The controller controls the rotation of the cam through the motor to match a detection angle of the angle detector with a target angle corresponding to a target valve lift amount. The controller stops rotating the cam through the motor when a difference between the detection angle and the target angle exceeds a first threshold, and the target angle corresponds to one of the steps.

Electric control device

A drive cam is rotated about a camshaft member upon application a drive torque of a drive source to the drive cam. A transmission device converts rotational motion of the drive cam into linear reciprocating motion and transmits the converted linear reciprocating motion to a control shaft member. The control shaft member is connected to a controlled subject and is linearly reciprocated together with the transmission device in an axial direction. A reverse input cutoff clutch transmits the drive torque, which is received from the drive source, to the drive cam. The reverse input cutoff clutch non-rotatably locks an output shaft of the drive source in response to a reverser input torque transmitted from the controlled subject through the drive cam.

Drive apparatus

The present invention provides a gear oil composition for vehicle driving systems, more specifically a gear oil composition for vehicle final reduction gears, which can improve a fuel-saving effect by reducing its viscosity and, at the same time, secure bearing fatigue life characteristics. The gear oil composition comprises a base oil (A) and another base oil (B), described below, and at least one species of additive for gear oil, and has a kinematic viscosity of 80 mm/s or less at 40&#xb0; C.:

Gear oil composition

A feed screw mechanism including a screwed shaft which moves linearly along with the control shaft, and a rotation spindle which rotates in a circumferential direction. The feed screw mechanism converts a rotational movement of the rotation spindle into a linear movement of the screwed shaft. A protrusion protrudes outwardly from the rotation spindle. An internal thread member engages with an outer wall surface of the rotation spindle. A motor stator generating a magnetic is positioned over the rotation spindle, and is sandwiched between the protrusion and the internal thread member in an axial direction of the rotation spindle.

Actuator for valve lift controller

The invention provides a method for preparing a soft magnetic material which meets demands for low iron loss, high density, high strength and high productivity. The method comprises a surface oxidation step of forming oxide films on the surfaces of a soft magnetic powder, a step of preparing a molding compound of the soft magnetic powder by mixing a soft magnetic powder and a binder with a predetermined blending ratio, a press molding step of press-molding the molding compound of the soft magnetic powder into a predetermined shape, and a sintering step of sintering the press-molded soft magnetic powder to produce a soft magnetic material, wherein a millimeter wave sintering apparatus or a discharge plasma sintering apparatus is used as a heating means in the surface oxidation step or in the sintering step. Thereby, energy of millimeter waves or discharge plasma acts locally on oxidized surface portions having a large electric resistance of the soft magnetic powder, the surfaces of the soft magnetic powder are locally heated at a temperature near the melting point, and oxidation of the surfaces of the soft magnetic powder (formation of an oxide film) and sintering (diffusional joining between oxide films) are promoted.

Method for producing a soft magnetic material

An actuator for a valve lift control device linearly moves a control shaft to change a valve lift in accordance with an axial position of the control shaft. A first and a second rotation cam integrally rotate around a common rotation axis by transmission of torque, so that a direct acting follower, which includes a first and a contact members, linearly moves with a control shaft. The first and a second rotation cams are respectively in contact with the first and the second contact members via a first and a second contact points. The first contact point is located on the opposite side of the second contact point with respect to the rotation axis. A sum of a first rotation cam lift of the first rotation cam and a second rotation cam lift of the second rotation cam is substantially constant in a predetermined rotation angular range of the first rotation cam and the second rotation cam.

Actuator for valve lift control device having cam mechanism

An actuator is used for controlling an intake valve lift of an automotive engine. A control shaft is joined with a transmission device on its one end side, and is joined with a valve lift controller on the other end side. The control shaft is arranged perpendicularly to a spindle of a motor. Besides, the transmission device includes a drive cam internally. Thus, the actuator is reduced in size in a longitudinal direction of the control shaft regardless the length of the motor. When the motor rotates, the control shaft reciprocates in accordance with a cam profile of the drive cam. The intake valve lift can be precisely controlled by defining the cam profile, especially in a rotation range of the drive cam corresponding to the idling operation of the engine.

A first core is formed by stacking a plurality of magnetic plates of a soft magnetic material, such as iron, in a direction perpendicular to a plane of each magnetic plate. A bonding thin layer made of iron oxide having a thickness of approximately a few nanometers to a few hundred micrometers is formed between adjacent ones of the magnetic plates. The adjacent magnetic plates are bonded to each other by diffusion bonding in such a manner that the bonding thin layer is interposed between the adjacent magnetic plates to electrically insulate between the adjacent magnetic plate.

Magnetic member for electromagnetic driving device and manufacturing method thereof

A relief valve for an oil filter device integrally formed with a check valve has an annular shape, and has a front end portion, a guiding portion, a sealing portion, a recess portion, and a groove portion. The relief valve is attached to a protector only by inserting a cylindrical protector end portion into the groove portion thereof. At this time, the recess portion is elastically deformed so that the sealing portion moves inwardly, while the sealing portion is elastically compressed by the protector end portion. As a result, the relief valve closes an oil flow passage defined in a wall of the protector end portion only by an elastic deformation stress thereof. The relief valve can be readily molded and attached to the oil filter device and stably provide desired valve opening characteristics.
