A valve body and a float body are coupled so that the valve body is allowed to move in a direction along a central axis of movement of the float body, and the seated valve body is unseated when the float body descends. On a central axis side of the movement of the float body, a pair of guide members is provided, and when the valve body tilts, the valve body and the float body contact each other on a lower side of a tilt of the valve body and the float body ascends, so that the guide members correct the tilt. Also, when the float body ascends, the float body and the valve body do not contact each other in a rest of a portion.

Fuel tank valve device

A valve body and a float body are combined by respectively coupling two or more coupling parts provided on one of the valve body and the float body to coupled parts provided on the other of the valve body and the flat body in a state allowing upward and downward movements of the valve body. During descent of the float body, one coupling part of the two or more coupling parts is caught on the coupled parts ahead of the other coupling parts whereby the valve body is tilted, and the other coupling parts restrict the tilting of the valve body.

Valve device for fuel tank

A valve device is used by being attached to a fuel tank. The valve device includes a main body portion provided with ventilation openings which become an inner end of a connecting passage with the outside of the fuel tank, a valve body opening and closing the ventilation openings using a liquid surface of a fuel, and a skirt portion extending down from the main body portion so as to surround the valve body, and also constructed so as to admit fuel due to a pressure difference between inside and outside of the fuel tank when the liquid surface of the fuel reaches a cuff portion of the skirt portion.

Valve device

A connector includes an outer melt-bonding projectionintegrally formed with a projecting endof a flangeof a base member, and an inner melt-bonding memberhaving an upper sideunified to a lower surfaceof the flangeof the base memberand configured to have an outer lateral sideunified to an inner lateral sideof the outer melt-bonding projection. The outer melt-bonding projectionis formed of a first synthetic resin, which is melt-bondable to an outer layer Ta of a fuel tank T, the base memberis formed of a second synthetic resin difficult to pass a gas produced from fuel therethrough and adaptable to the first synthetic resin, and the inner melt-bonding memberis formed of the first synthetic resin.

Connector for fuel tank

A fuel-filtering device is disposed inside a fuel tank for filtering a fuel. The fuel-filtering device includes a filter body having a bag shape and a communication hole, and is formed of a plurality of laminated filter layers. The laminated filter layers includes an outside filter layer formed of a woven mesh, an inside filter layer formed of a non-woven fabric, and at least one intermediate filter layer disposed between the outside filter layer and the inside filter layer and formed of a non-woven fabric. The filter body is formed of at least one of a polyethylene fiber and a polypropylene fiber and has mesh sizes decreasing from the outside filter layer toward the inside filter layer.

Fuel-filtering device

A sliding assisting apparatus for assisting a sliding operation wherein a movable body slidably engaged with a base is slid between a first sliding position and a second sliding position includes sliders, a spring member, lock members and operation members. The sliders are engaged with the movable body and capable of sliding in the same one or more directions as the movable body. The spring member is capable of accumulating force in the sliding operation of the movable body and connecting the respective sliders together. The lock members are each capable of engaging with one of the sliders to exert the accumulated force on the slider, and disengaging from the slider to release the accumulated force from the slider. Operation members are each capable of engaging and disengaging with the lock member for engaging the lock member with a slider and disengaging a lock member from the slider.

Sliding assisting apparatus

A sliding assisting apparatus includes a main body provided on a base or a movable body, and having a pair of sliders disposed in a case; lock members formed on the sliders; coupling parts provided on the case to couple/uncouple with the lock members; a forcing device provided between the two sliders to accumulate a biasing force when one of the sliders is slid to move away from the other; a pair of strikers provided on the base or the movable body; and a switch between a case restrained position and a case restraint released position. One striker is disposed between the first and second sliding positions to cause the movable body to slide toward the first sliding position, and a second striker is disposed closer to the second sliding position than the first striker to cause the movable body to slide toward the second sliding position.

A sliding assisting apparatus assists a movable body to move between a drawn-out position and a drawn-in position. The apparatus includes a unit main body to be attached to a main body or the movable body, and a pair of strikers to be attached to the main body or movable body. The unit main body includes a pair of sliders slidably disposed inside a case, lock members movably supported on the respective sliders, coupling parts provided on the case for engaging the lock members, and an urging device provided between the sliders for accumulating a force when the sliders slide away from the other. One striker switches one slider between a case restrained position in which one coupling part engages one lock member and a case restraint released position in which the one coupling part releases the one lock member.

A sliding assisting device assists a movable body to move between a drawn-in position and a drawn-out position relative a main body. The sliding assisting device includes a unit main body provided on one of the main body and the movable body, and having a slider, a lock member, and a spring member; and an operating member provided on the other of the main body and the movable body. When the movable body is drawn out to a mid-course position from the drawn-in position or drawn-out position, the operating member displaces the lock member from a locked position to an unlocked position, so that the movable body slides from the mid-course position to the drawn-out position or drawn-in position by the spring member.

Sliding assisting device

A locking device for locking an opening-and-closing moving body in a stopped position includes a striker body disposed on one of a striking part of the opening-and-closing moving body and a struck part of a non-moving body hitting against the striking part of the moving body in the stopped position, and a catcher body disposed on the other of the striking part of the moving body and the struck part of the non-moving body. The catcher body includes an inner part with a receiving part for receiving the striker body, an outer part for holding the inner part, a forcing device for urging the inner part, and a damping device for damping the inner part. The forcing device urges the inner part to engage the outer part and stop when the inner part is situated in a forward position.

Locking device

A fuel valve includes an upper chamber communicating with a ventilation passage of a canister; a lower chamber to be disposed inside a fuel tank; a communicating port between the upper chamber and the lower chamber; and a float member disposed in the lower chamber for blocking the communicating port when fuel flows into the lower chamber. A bottom orifice or a one-way valve is formed in the bottom of the lower chamber for preventing the fuel to flow into the lower chamber and allowing the fuel to flow out from the bottom of the lower chamber. A fuel inlet is formed at a lower side of the side wall to face upwardly to allow the fuel to gradually enter the lower chamber so that an inner pressure in the fuel tank increases by entering the fuel into the lower chamber after the fuel reaches the fuel inlet.

Over-fueling prevention valve

A fuel tank connector for connecting a fuel tank and a pipe in communicating fashion includes a gas barrier member made of a synthetic resin and having a gas barrier property. The gas barrier member includes a tubular portion and a flanged portion provided on a peripheral side of the tubular portion, which extends beyond an opening of the fuel tank. The gas barrier member is made of a liquid crystal polymer, aromatic polyamide, a blended polymer of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and high-density polyethylene, a blended polymer of polyamide and polyethylene, or a blended polymer of polyamide and high-density polyethylene.

Fuel tank connector

A fuel valve includes an upper chamber communicating with a ventilation passage of a canister; a lower chamber to be disposed inside a fuel tank; a communicating port between the upper chamber and the lower chamber; and a float member disposed in the lower chamber for blocking the communicating port when fuel flows into the lower chamber. The lower chamber includes a one-way valve formed at a bottom thereof for allowing the fuel to flow out only through the one-way valve, and a fuel inlet formed in a side wall of the lower chamber. When a fuel level inside the fuel tank reaches the main fuel inlet, the fuel flows into the lower chamber to raise the float member. As a result, an internal pressure of the fuel tank increases, so that a sensor at a fueling nozzle side can detect that the fuel tank is filled-up.

A fuel tank connector for connecting a fuel tank and a pipe in communicating fashion includes a gas barrier member made of a synthetic resin and having a gas barrier property. The gas barrier member includes a tubular portion and a flanged portion provided on a peripheral side of the tubular portion, which extends beyond an opening of the fuel tank. The gas barrier member is made of a liquid crystal polymer, aromatic polyamide, a blended polymer of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and high-density polyethylene, a blended polymer of polyamide and polyethylene, a blended polymer of polyamide and high-density polyethylene.

Provided is a convenient container cap which can be integrally molded from synthetic resin material, and comprises a primary cap adapted to be fitted on an opening of a container and provided with an outlet opening in a top wall thereof, and a secondary cap attached to the primary cap with a reversible hinge and provided with a plug member adapted to be fitted into the outlet opening of the primary cap. According to one aspect of the present invention, the reversible hinge comprises a resilient piece connected between the top wall 3 of the primary cap and an inner surface of the secondary cap, in each case, in a region located more radially inwardly that a flexible thinned hinge portion so that the external appearance of the reversible hinge is improved. According to another aspect of the present invention, a slide member is also integrally attached to the primary cap for reducing the effort required to open the secondary cap without increasing the number of component parts or complicating the assembling process.
