A projection lens, which is a projection lens to be attached to a projection apparatus body having an electro-optical device, includes: a first focus optical system; a first holding portion that has an attachment portion and on which light along a first optical axis extending in first directions is incident; and an adjustment frame that holds the first focus optical system. When one of the first directions is defined as a first A direction and the other of the first directions is defined as a first B direction, the first focus optical system is positioned further in the first A direction than the attachment portion, and light along the first optical axis travels in the first B direction. The adjustment frame is movable in the first directions relative to the first holding portion.

A projection lens includes a lens barrel that accommodates an optical system from which light incident from the housing exits, and that has a first rotary tube that rotates around an optical axis and a first fixed tube at which the first rotary tube is rotatably mounted; and a first conduction portion for performing electrical conduction, the first conduction portion having a fixed electrode that is provided at the first fixed tube and a rotary electrode that is provided at the first rotary tube and that rotates as a result of rotating the first rotary tube, the rotary electrode being disposed at a position that faces the fixed electrode and contacting the fixed electrode at least at a rotation position that has been preset.

A first holding member holds a first optical system and a first mirror, and has a first junction surface. A second holding member holds a second optical system and a second mirror, and has a second junction surface. A junction portion is configured such that, in a state where the first junction surface and the second junction surface are aligned with each other, the second holding member is capable of being shifted in a direction of both the junction surfaces and rotated around an optical axis, and makes it possible to perform optical axis alignment. An emission-side optical axis of the first optical system and an incidence-side optical axis of the second optical system are aligned with each other, and thus a U-shaped optical path is formed by the first and second optical systems.

A projection lens has a first rotary tube, a first fixed tube at which the first rotary tube is rotatably mounted, a first protrusion portion that is provided at the first rotary tube and that protrudes from the first rotary tube, and a first abutment surface that is provided at the first fixed tube and that abuts upon the first protrusion portion. There is provided a projection lens that is mounted on a housing of a projection device including an electro-optical element. The projection lens comprises an optical system through which light passes, a second holding unit through which light parallel to a second optical axis passes and which is moved rotationally with respect to the housing, a third holding unit through which light parallel to a third optical axis obtained from bending of the second optical axis passes and which is moved rotationally with respect to the second holding unit, an electric drive unit that electrically controls rotational movement of the second holding unit with respect to the housing, rotational movement of the third holding unit with respect to the second holding unit, or drive of the optical system, and a cover part that covers the electric drive unit.

There is provided a projection lens that is mounted on a housing of a projection device including an electro-optical element. The projection lens includes a first holding frame through which light emitted from the housing passes, a second reflective part that refracts an optical axis of light emitted from the first holding frame and includes a pair of side surfaces facing each other, and a second holding frame that holds the second reflective part and includes a pair of first holes provided at positions corresponding to the pair of side surfaces; and each of the pair of side surfaces has a gap between itself and the second holding frame.

The first rotation control unit and the first electric drive unit are in a relationship where the first rotation control unit and the first electric drive unit overlap with each other in an extending direction of the first optical axis, and the first rotation control unit and the first electric drive unit are spaced apart from each other in the rotatable range.

A projection apparatus includes: a fixed body that contains a light source and a light modulation element for spatially modulating light from the light source based on image data; a movable body that includes a reflecting member for reflecting light emitted from the fixed body, is rotatably supported by the fixed body around a rotation axis parallel to an incidence direction of the light onto the reflecting member, and is movable with respect to the fixed body; a fixed body side electrode; a movable body side electrode; a driving unit; and an optical member that is provided at the movable body and driven by the driving unit, and the fixed body includes a driving controller that controls the driving unit in a case where the movable body side electrode is electrically conducted with the fixed body side electrode.

A projector includes a projection lens, a projector body, and an angle adjustment unit. In the projection lens, a U-shaped optical path is formed of optical axes CLto CL. A lens barrel is a U-shaped barrel. The angle adjustment unit includes a fitting portion, a mounting flange, a fixing unit, a mount ring, and bearings. The projection lens is supported so as to be rotationally movable around the optical axis CL. The fixing unit includes a mounting hole, a fixing screw, and a screw hole. The mounting hole is formed in the shape of an arc. The fixing screw is screwed with the screw hole through the mounting hole, so that the lens barrel is fixed to a housing.
