A stator core is formed by deforming a core assembly having core pieces coupled in a strip form into an annular shape, and by joining both ends of the core assembly together to make a core-fastening portion. Individual phase windings are routed from one end of the core assembly toward another end. Lead portion () of phase winding () and lead portion () of phase winding () make up respective wire terminals. Lead portion () of another phase winding () is extended through a plural number of the core pieces in a direction of the lead portions (and), and a wire terminal of the extended lead portion () and the wire terminals of the other lead portions (and) are electrically connected to provide a neutral point of three-phase Y-connection circuit.

Motor and method for manufacturing stator therefor

A motor stator is disclosed. Each of a first phase, second phase and third phase of three-phase winding has multiple toroidal coils and crossover wires connecting the coils. The crossover wire of the first phase runs inside the second phase coil and the third phase coil. The crossover wire of the second phase runs over the first phase coil with a guide by guide posts and runs inside the third phase coil. The crossover wire of the third phase runs over the first phase coil and the second phase coil with a guide by the guide posts.

A stator () is configured so that a plurality of power supply terminals () each having a tab () of a planar protrusion are located on an end face of a stator core (), the power supply side end of the winding () is connected to the power supply terminal (), and a lead wire () with a flag type terminal () is connected to the power supply terminal (), the lead wire being connected to the flag type terminal () in a direction intersecting a press-fitting direction into the tab (), the plurality of power supply terminals () are arranged at the same height from the end face of the stator core () and are inclined so that the faces of the tabs () of the plurality of power supply terminals () are not arranged on the same plane. The flag type terminal () and the lead wire () are prevented from interfering with each other in the vicinity of the power supply terminal (), and the lead wire () is arranged not higher than the flag type terminal () from the stator core (), whereby the overall height of the stator is reduced.

Electric compressor motor having a stator core of reduced height

A low-vibration/noise brushless motor capable of limiting the height of coil ends, and a low-current-leak hermetic compressor includes the brushless motor. This brushless motor is of a three-phase full-pitch-winding type including a stator having coils () inserted in slots in a one coil per one slot manner. Coil ends () of the coils () are arranged such that the first coil () is arranged outside the second and third coils () in a place (A) where the second and third coils () are inserted in a pair of slots adjacent to each other, the second coil () is arranged from inside of the first coil () to outside of the third coil () in a place (B) where the first and third coils are inserted in another pair of slots adjacent, and the third coil () is arranged inside the first and second coils () in a place (C) where the first and second coils () are inserted in still another pair of adjacent slots.
