A display device is mounted on a hybrid vehicle provided with an internal-combustion engine, an electric motor, an electricity storage device configured to store electricity used to drive the electric motor, and a charger configured to externally charge the electricity storage device using electricity from an external power supply. The display device includes a display and a display controller. The display displays a residual capacity of the electricity storage device. When the residual capacity of the electricity storage device is substantially zero, the display controller displays the residual capacity greater than zero on the display.

Display device

A display in an image display device displays images. A processor generates an image for display on the display. A map provider provides a map image to the processor. An image provider provides a display image associated with a type of a function item. An acknowledging unit acknowledges a user input. When the acknowledging unit acknowledges an input to display the function item, the processor causes the display to display the map image and the display image associated with the user input. When the display image for a predetermined function item is displayed, the processor displays the map image in a blurred manner.

Image display device

A display device is mounted on a hybrid vehicle. The hybrid vehicle includes a driving mode controller configured to control switching between a first driving mode in which internal charging of an electricity storage device by a power generator is limited and a second driving mode in which internal charging of the electricity storage device by the power generator is controlled so that the residual capacity of the electricity storage device is maintained within a given control range. The display device includes a display for displaying information, and a display controller. The display controller displays information regarding start of an internal-combustion engine on the display when the internal-combustion engine is started in the first driving mode and does not display information regarding start of the internal-combustion engine on the display when the internal-combustion engine is started in the second driving mode.

A display displays a charging schedule of an electricity storage device, using multiple icons representing charging plans for multiple days. When multiple charging reservation types are specified for charging plans for multiple days, a controller displays icons on the display so that at least one of shapes and colors of the icons are different for each charging reservation type.

A navigation system is provided which dynamically changes a destination so as to meet a user's objective, based on various changes in situation which occur during traveling, and indicates a changed destination to the user. An objective representing an action of a user is recognized based on information inputted by the user (S). A place at which the recognized objective can be achieved is set as a destination (S). Guidance is performed so as to reach the destination having been set (S). When it is determined, during traveling based on the guidance, that the objective is difficult to achieve, a substitute place at which the objective can be achieved is set as a destination (Sto S).
