A battery material includes a compound having an imidazoline ring and an aromatic ring. The compound has a molecular weight of less than 350. The compound is, for example, 2-benzylimidazoline. The battery material, for example, further includes a solid electrolyte. The solid electrolyte has, for example, a particle shape. The compound is, for example, located between a plurality of particles of the solid electrolyte.

The present disclosure provides a battery that can further reliably suppress penetration of moisture and so forth inside the battery. A battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a power generation element; and a sealing member containing an insulating material and zeolite particles. The power generation element includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The zeolite particles have an average particle size less than or equal to 1 μm.

There is provided a display device having an electrochromic element placed in the display device. The electrochromic element has: a light transmittance of 70% or more and a light reflectance of 20% or less at a central wavelength of a visible spectrum when in a transparent state; and a light reflectance of 65% or more at the central wavelength of the visible spectrum when in a mirror state. By this, the display device is not only highly effective in terms of light-shielding, heat blocking, screening, etc., but is also switchable between a transmissive type and a reflective type.
