An X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes processing circuitry and a display. The processing circuitry is configured to perform reconstruction processing to raw data generated by a scan of a subject to reconstruct a medical image, and determine a posture of the subject at the time of the scan, according to an imaging condition reflecting an examination order for the scan. The display displays the medical image in association with information as to the posture.

According to one embodiment, an X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes an X-ray tube, an X-ray detector, acquisition circuitry, a high voltage generator, and processing circuitry. The acquisition circuitry acquires electrical signals from a plurality of X-ray detection elements, and bundles the electrical signals in bundle units in accordance with a resolution mode of the X-ray detector. The processing circuitry determines a resolution mode, an application dose condition, and an X-ray exposure time for target CT imaging. The processing circuitry determines the focus size for the target CT imaging based on the determined resolution mode, application dose condition, and X-ray exposure time.

X-ray computed tomography apparatus

According to one embodiment, an X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes a gantry for imaging a subject by X-ray CT and a console communicably connected to the gantry. The gantry includes a gantry body and a column unit. The gantry body has a bore into which the subject is inserted when the subject is imaged by X-ray CT. The column unit includes a first column which supports the gantry body slidably in a direction perpendicular to a floor surface and a second column which supports the first column slidably in a vertical direction.

An X-ray CT apparatus includes: a base; a main frame including a pair of tilt shafts, the main frame being supported in a tiltable manner by the base with a pair of bearings interposed in between, the bearings configured to rotatably support the respective tilt shafts; an X-ray tube and an X-ray detector positioned to face each other; an annular rotor configured to hold the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector, the rotor rotatably supported by the main frame with a bearing interposed in between; and a pair of reinforcement members extended from the main frame. One end of each of the pair of tilt shafts is fixed to the main frame, and the other end of each of the pair of tilt shafts is fixed to the respective reinforcement members.

X-ray CT apparatus

A rotor is rotatably supported in a gantry housing having a substantially sealed structure. An X-ray tube is provided in the rotor. A cooler is provided in the rotor and cools a refrigerant within the X-ray tube. An X-ray detector is provided in the rotor. A reconstruction unit reconstructs an image on the basis of an output of the X-ray detector. A radiator is fixed inside the gantry housing at a position opposite to an exhaust opening of the cooler when the rotor is stationary.

An X-ray CT apparatus, wherein a drum type rotation frame is rotatably supported by a fixed circular frame so as to surround an outer surface of the drum type rotation frame through a plurality of bearings provided between an inner surface of the fixing circular frame and an outer surface of the drum type rotation frame, for example in ring-like configuration. When the drum type rotation frame receives a large centrifugal acceleration due to a high speed rotation, outside expansion of the drum type rotation frame can be constrained due to both the rigidity of the fixed frame and the rigidity of the plurality of bearings provided on the outer surface of the rotation frame, thereby to maintain the relative positions of the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector and prevent deterioration of reconstructed images.

An X-ray computed tomographic apparatus includes a cylindrical rotary base supported so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis, an X-ray tube unit mounted on the rotary base, an X-ray detecting unit mounted on the rotary base, and a reinforcing ring fixed to an end of the rotary base, and having a greater rigidity than the rotary base.

An X-ray computed tomography apparatus for providing information of alignment, comprises an X-ray generator, an X-ray detector, and a controller. The X-ray generator generates an X-ray. The X-ray detector comprises a plurality of detecting segments in a slice direction and detects the X-ray generated by the X-ray generator. The controller provides the information of alignment between the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector in the slice direction on the basis of a detection information obtained from at least two of the detecting segments, wherein each of the at least two of the detecting segments is at least partially covered by a penumbra of the X-ray.
