A cell module includes a unit cell, a sensor, a calculation device, a storage device, an assessment device and a controller. The sensor is connected to the unit cell. The calculation device is for calculating a value indicating the state of the unit cell on the basis of a value measured by the sensor. The storage device is for recording calculated values calculated by the calculation device. The assessment device is for assessing illegitimate usage of the cell module. The controller is for controlling the calculation device, the storage device, and the assessment device, the control device deleting calculated values recorded in the storage device and prohibiting recording of calculated values to the storage device when the assessment device assesses that illegitimate usage has occurred.

Cell module

A bipolar secondary battery comprises laminated bodies. The laminated body comprises bipolar electrodes laminated via an electrolyte layer. The bipolar electrode comprises a positive electrode active material layer and a negative electrode active material layer formed on surfaces of a current collector. A positive electrode is formed on one end of the laminated bodies and a negative electrode is formed on another end. A temperature sensitive resistor having a smaller area than an electrical reaction area of the positive electrode active material layer and the negative electrode active material layer is arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode of a pair of adjacent laminated bodies, thereby suppressing a temperature increase caused by a high current by increasing the resistance in response to the flow of the high current into the bipolar secondary battery such as when an external circuit is shorted.

A fuel cell separator () of the present invention has a base material () formed of titanium, and a nitride compound layer () composed of titanium and nitrogen and provided on a surface of the base material (). In the fuel cell separator (), the contact resistance which occurs between a gas diffusion layer and the separator () is low, the corrosion resistance is excellent, and the separator () can be manufactured at low cost.
