A level sensor, i.e., a light receiving section (X) having multiple light receiving elements (PDXto PDXn) arranged in parallel. In the level sensor, each two adjacent output terminals of the light receiving elements (PDXto PDXn) are connected by one of resistors (RXto RXn).

A detection sensor to detect a receiving position of laser light according to the present invention includes a pair of light receiving element arrays (X andY), wherein adjacent light receiving elements (PDXi) are positioned as spaced equidistantly from one another and are mutually connected via a resistor (RXj), and wherein the output lines (and) are respectively connected to the light receiving elements that are present at both ends of the respective light receiving element arrays (X andY). The light receiving element arrays (X andY) configure a composite array wherein the light receiving elements of a first light receiving element array are respectively positioned between the mutually adjacent light receiving elements of a second light receiving element array. When the laser beam makes contact with any of the light receiving elements, an analysis arithmetic device derives the position whereupon the laser beam is received, by performing a computation in accordance with the output that is obtained from each respective output line.

A laser level detection system which detects a reference plane of laser at an arbitrary position includes a plurality of level detection units and an operation unit which displays a detection result of each of the level detection units and can operate each of the level detection units, and the laser level detection unit, which has detected the reference plane of the laser, outputs the detection result and an own identification signal of the level detection unit, and the operation unit displays the detection result and a receiving result of the identification signal of the level detection unit.

A power-saving control method in a laser measuring system, which comprises a laser rotary irradiation device for forming a laser reference plane by projecting a laser beam in rotary irradiation and a photodetection device for carrying out position measurement by receiving the laser beam, comprising a step of detecting using status of the photodetection device by the photodetection device, a step of selecting steady operation or power-saving mode based on the detection of using status, a step of transmitting a power-saving mode transition instruction to the laser rotary irradiation device by the photodetection device when the power-saving mode is selected, a step of receiving the power-saving mode transition instruction by the laser rotary irradiation device, and a step of executing power-saving control.

A level detector includes a light receiving element unit having a plurality of light receiving elements; a first amplifier circuit configured to amplify a light receiving signal; a first gain switching circuit; a first peak hold circuit; an arithmetic control device configured to analyze a light receiving position of the position detection unit; a second amplifier circuit; and a second gain switching circuit configured to switch and set a gain of the second amplifier circuit, the arithmetic control device analyzes the light receiving position of laser light received by the position detection unit, based on a signal output from the second amplifier circuit.

Level detector

A displacement measuring appparatus is small in size and hence capable of avoiding interference with other units and further has its measurement accuracy hardly deteriorated. There are disposed pulleys for movement with respect to the body of the appartus and there is disposed an energizing means such that the pulleys are subjected to the energizing force. A wire is passed around the pulleys. When the wire is subjected to a pulling force, the pulleys are moved against the energizing force of the energizing means.

A surveying system comprises a surveying machine (11) which is disposed at a reference point (A) and a reflecting mirror (5) which is disposed on the side of a target point (B). In a light-wave distance meter, a light source device emits reference modulated light beams from multiple spatially-separated light emitting areas, an optical means radiates a light beam derived from the multiple modulated light beams to the target of measurement, a light beam reception means receives the reflected return light beam from the target and converts it into an electrical pulse signal, and a distance measuring means calculates the distance to the target based on the time difference between the light beam emission and the return light beam reception. The low coherence and high intensity light beam produced by the light source device enables the extension of the maximum measurable distance.
