A vehicle side portion structure includes: a rocker disposed along a vehicle front-rear direction at a lower portion of a vehicle side portion, a cross-sectional shape of the rocker viewed in the vehicle front-rear direction being formed as a closed cross section shape; a front pillar that rises toward a vehicle upper side from a front end portion at a vehicle front side of the rocker, a cross-sectional shape of the front pillar viewed in a vehicle vertical direction being formed as a closed cross section shape; and a load-bearing rod that is inflected along the rocker and the front pillar as viewed in a vehicle width direction, one end side in a length direction of the load-bearing rod being disposed inside the rocker and joined to the rocker, and another end side in the length direction of the load-bearing rod being disposed inside the front pillar.

Vehicle side portion structure

When a collision load is transmitted to a gusset, the load is transmitted to an inner side in a vehicle width direction via an inclined wall. Accordingly, moment that causes a front side member to be projected and bent inward to the inner side in the vehicle width direction with an intersection being a starting point acts on the front side member. Then, the front side member, which has been projected and bent inward, collides with a power unit that is disposed in an engine compartment from an outer side in the vehicle width direction. Accordingly, a lateral force to the inner side in the vehicle width direction can be obtained for a vehicle.

Vehicle front structure

A trim attachment structure includes a door frame, trim and a clip. The door frame has an attachment part, which is formed by a single plate, and a fitting hole. The fitting hole has a square shape in which the diagonals thereof are aligned with specific directions. The trim has a pair of ribs respectively facing a pair of end parts of the fitting hole. The clip is installed in the fitting hole. The clip includes a head part, a tube part and a latching hook. The tube part has a tip end part which projects from the fitting hole to the outer side of the attachment part. Angled parts of the tip end part are held between the ribs. The latching hook is latched at the peripheral edge of the fitting hole on the outer side of the attachment part.
