The present invention provides an electromagnetic relay that can achieve desired operation characteristics by simple and inexpensive construction even if it has a small thickness. Therefore, a movable iron pieceis rotated by excitation or non-excitation of an electromagnet, a movable contact pieceis elastically deformed through a card, and a movable contactopens and closes fixed contacts of fixed contact pieces. The movable iron pieceis provided with a card pressing portioncapable of pressing the card. The cardis provided with a contact piece pressing portioncapable of pressing the movable contact pieceby being rotated around a fulcrum. At least one of the movable iron piece and the card is provided with a press position changing portion, wherein when rotating the movable iron piece, force transmission from the movable iron pieceto the cardis performed at a position more distant from a press position by the card pressing portionof the iron piecewith respect to the fulcrum, and then performed by the card pressing portion

The invention intends to provide a direct current load breaking contact point constitution that can make and break an electrical circuit under both direct current loads of direct current resistance load and direct current inductance load over a long period of time without causing problems such as {circle around (1)} the conduction defect due to the consumption of the contact point, {circle around (2)} the locking due to material transfer from one contact point to the other contact point, {circle around (3)} the welding between the contact points, and {circle around (4)} the abnormal arc continuation, and a direct current load breaking switching mechanism such as a relay, a switch and so on that has the contact point constitution. The direct current load breaking contact point constitution according to the invention comprises a movable contact point and a stationary contact point that face each other; wherein the movable contact point is made of AgSnOInOalloy that contains at least Ag, 8 to 15% by weight in total of metal oxides including SnOand InO, 6 to 10% by weight of SnOand 1 to 5% by weight of InO; the stationary contact point is made of AgZnO alloy that contains at least Ag and 7 to 11% by weight of ZnO; and polarity of a movable side is (+) and that of a stationary side is (&#x2212;).

Direct current load breaking contact point constitution and switching mechanism therewith

An electrical connector has lead lines each having a core line and a cover layer each electrically connecting a connection terminal with a clamped part and a compression terminal both affixed to a main body. One end part of each lead line is affixed to the clamped part of a corresponding connecting terminal and the other end parts of the lead lines are pressed together simultaneously into corresponding ones of the compression terminals while the lead lines are supported by guide members having indentations such that the load on the clamped parts can be reduced as lead lines are forced into slits formed in the compression terminals and their cover layers are removed such that the core lines and the compression terminals come to contact each other.
