A production system is provided in which high production efficiency can be maintained in the entire production line even in cases in which there is a lack of uniformity in the rates at which the articles are actually supplied from a supply unit; the weighing unit, packaging unit, quality inspection unit, or other constituent device has stopped operating; or other problems have occurred. In this production system, a centralized control system controls the set capacities of devices that constitute a production line including a weighing device, a bagging machine, and other devices disposed downstream, so that the capacities are varied on the basis of the detection results of a supply rate detection sensor of a supply device, that is, on the basis of the actual rates of supply from the supply device to the weighing device.

Production system

A bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus includes a bag manufacturing unit that tubularly forms a strip film and manufactures a bag filled with articles; a feed roller unit that feeds a strip, to which the bag manufactured by the bag manufacturing unit is mounted; and a mounting unit that mounts the bag to the strip fed by the feed roller unit. The strip is rectilinearly maintained between the feed roller unit and the mounting unit by imparting a bend on the strip in the transverse cross section that intersects a transport pathway of the strip. The object of the present invention is to provide a bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus that, even if the strip to which bags are mounted lacks rigidity, can smoothly feed the strip, automatically thread the strip to the mounting unit, and form appropriate slits in the strip.

Bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus

The present invention relates to a packaging system for causing articles M to fall downward along a predetermined falling route A and filling the articles M into a tubular film F. The packaging system is provided with an auxiliary deviceoperating on the falling route A at predetermined timing and facilitating or improving the flow of the articles M, determination unitdetermining whether a state of the flow of the articles M on the falling route A is normal or abnormal, and a change unitchanging the operating timing of the auxiliary deviceaccording to the state of the flow of the articles M determined by the determination unit. With this configuration, the state of the flow of the articles M is improved and the high productivity (yield) and/or operativity of the packaging system can be maintained.

A package inspecting system includes a packaging machine including a vertical sealing device for sealing opposite longitudinal side edges of a packaging material F, which extend in a direction conforming to a direction of flow of the packaging material F, together to render the packaging material F into a tubular form, and an end sealing device for sealing an end of the tubular packaging material F after articles M have been filled in the tubular packaging material F, to thereby provide a bagged product M , and a seal checker for inspecting a sealing condition of the packaging material F of the bagged product M . The package inspecting system also includes a bite detecting means provided in the packaging machine for detecting whether or not the articles M are bitten in the end of the packaging material F so that the presence or absence of an abnormal condition and a content of abnormality in each of the sealing devices can be diagnosed based on a result of detection, performed by the bite detecting means , and a result of inspection performed by the seal checker with respect to the same bagged product M .

Automatic package inspecting system

A packaging system for causing articles M to fall downward along a predetermined falling route A and filling the articles M into a tubular film F. The packaging system is provided with an auxiliary device operating on the falling route A at predetermined timing and facilitating or improving the flow of the articles M, determination unit determining whether a state of the flow of the articles M on the falling route A is normal or abnormal, and a change unit changing the operating timing of the auxiliary device according to the state of the flow of the articles M determined by the determination unit With this configuration, the state of the flow of the articles M is improved and the high productivity (yield) and/or operativity of the packaging system can be maintained.

There is provided an abnormal device determining means (CPU ) which reads a tendency of displacement between the combination calculated weight Wc of the contents M and the post-discharge Ws measured value of the same contents M measured after such contents M have been bagged and which, based on the tendency of displacement so read, determines which one of the combination calculated value Wc and the post-discharge measured value Ws is abnormal, and a display device ( ) for displaying a result of the determination. Thus, since based on the displacement tendency of the combination calculated value Wc and the post-discharge measured value Ws, which one of the combination calculated value Wc and the post-discharge measured value Ws is abnormal is determined, it can readily and easily grasped which one of the combination weighing apparatus ( ) and the weight checker ( ) suffers from a trouble.

Weighing, packaging and inspecting system

The present invention relates to a combination weighing apparatus for selecting a combination of some of weighing hoppers ( ) accommodating therein articles that have been supplied thereto, which combination results in a combination calculated value (Wc) of measured weights of the articles (M) contained in some of the weighing hoppers ( ) forming the combination, falling within a predetermined combination tolerance, and for subsequently discharging the articles (M) in the selected weighing hoppers ( ). In accordance with a condition of a flow of the articles (M) on a falling route downstream of the combination weighing apparatus ( ), discharge timing for discharging the articles (M) from the hoppers ( ) is automatically changed among the hoppers ( ). It is thereby possible to promptly detect abnormality in the flow of the articles and to maintain the high operativity and productivity (yield) of the combination weighing apparatus ( ).
