A variable resistor according to the present invention includes a substrate, a resistive element disposed on a first surface of the substrate, oil that coats an upper surface of the resistive element, and a slide member that slides on the upper surface of the resistive element coated with the oil, wherein an output of the variable registor changes as a position at which the slide member makes contact with the resistive element changes. The variable resistor further includes an oil repellent part that surrounds at least a part of the resistive element in plan view viewed from above the first surface of the substrate, the oil repellant part having surface free energy smaller than that of the resistive element, whereby oil can be stably held on a resistive element surface without forming irregularities on the resistive element surface.

Variable resistor

A film is sandwiched between a first plate and a second plate. Outer convex parts formed on the second plate are formed so that their protrusion height dimension is larger than that of an inner convex part. Each outer convex part is formed so that its width dimension is smaller than the inner convex part. When the first plate and second plate are face-joined together, the film is sandwiched between outer concave parts and the outer convex parts, after which the film is sandwiched between an inner concave part and an inner convex part and a tension is applied to a diaphragm part stretched in concave flow paths.

Fluid control device

A magnetic sensor includes magnetoresistive elements and a soft magnetic body. The magnetoresistive elements have multi layers including a magnetic layer and a nonmagnetic layer on a substrate, and exert a magnetoresistance effect. The soft magnetic body is electrically disconnected with the magnetoresistive elements, and converts a vertical magnetic field component from the outside into a magnetic field component in a horizontal direction so as to provide the magnetoresistive elements with the horizontally converted magnetic field component. The magnetoresistive elements have a pinned magnetic layer having a fixed magnetization direction and a free magnetic layer having a variable magnetization direction. The free magnetic layer is stacked on the pinned magnetic layer with a nonmagnetic layer interposed between the free magnetic layer and the pinned magnetic layer. The magnetization directions of the pinned magnetic layers of the magnetoresistive elements are the same direction. The magnetoresistive elements form a bridge circuit.

Magnetic sensor

A magnetic field generating portion is provided to a moving unit moving together with an operating unit. Two magnets are disposed in the magnetic field generating portion with a gap between in the direction of movement. A detection unit is provided to a fixed portion. The detection unit includes a first magnetoresistive device and a second magnetoresistive device and outputs of different combinations are obtained depending which of a first detection position, a second detection position, and an intermediate detection position, the moving unit has moved to.

Wiring patterns are made of a conductive material containing Ag particles that exhibit high conductivity. Connection terminals that are connected to the ends of part of the wiring patterns, respectively, are made of a conductive material containing conductive particles in each of which an Au coating layer is formed on the surface of a conductive core particle. Flexible multilayer wiring board

A flexible printed substrate has a flexible substrate made of a resin insulating material such as polyester resin and a conductive pattern formed thereon. The conductive pattern is composed of conductive powders consisting of palladium-silver alloy powders and a binder made of an organic resin material such as phenol resin. The palladium-silver alloy powders comprises at least 30 wt. % but less than 100 wt. % of palladium and, as the remaining portion, silver. The conductive powders are a mixture of flaky alloy powders and spherical alloy powders, wherein the former is contained in an amount of at least 50 wt. % but not greater than 70 wt. % and the latter is contained as the remaining portion. Both migration and sulfidization of the conductive pattern thus formed are decreased with respect to conventional conductive patterns and inexpensive flexible printed substrates can be provided.

A conductive composition comprising conductive particles made of a mechanical composite powder of copper or nickel covered with silver and a binder mainly containing bis-phenol A type epoxy resin (diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A) having 1600 to 5500 of molecular weight method for manufacturing a printed circuit substrate comprising the steps of printing the conductive composition on an insulating substrate and partially curing it in a range of 20 to 70% of completion as determined from DTA reactivity data. Thus, the conductive composition can manufacture an inexpensive circuit in simple steps as a whole with good solderability using low melting point solder and having high bonding strength. The method can manufacture the circuit by using the same conductive composition.

Conductive composition and method for manufacturing printed circuit

A circuit board that can be manufactured economically and reliably comprises first and second insulating films and an electrically conductive heat-seal film. Circuit patterns of first and second electrical parts are formed on the first and second insulating films, respectively. These circuit patterns are selectively connected with each other through the heat-seal film. The first insulating film has a hole in which the second insulating film is retained in such a way that the patterns on the first and second insulating films are substantially coplanar with each other.
