A fuel filter includes a filter member formed in a bag shape by a filter material sheet; and a frame member disposed inside the filter member. The frame member includes a base frame spreading out inside the filter member, and a cantilever spring formed in the base frame. The base frame includes first frames extending in a long-side direction, and second frames connected to the first frames and extending in a short-side direction perpendicular to the long-side direction. The first frames include a bent portion which is bent between portions wherein adjacent second frames are connected. A base end portion of the cantilever spring is connected to a second frame, and an end portion of the cantilever spring is disposed between adjacent second frames.

Fuel filter

A latch device has a housing, a sliding body including a striking portion abutting against a striker and disposed relative to the housing, a spring member urging the sliding body in a direction such that the sliding body protrudes from the housing, and an engaging body rotatably supported relative to the sliding body and including a claw portion on the end of the engaging body. The engaging body moves between a locking position wherein the claw portion is protruded to a striking portion side and engages with the striker, and a locking release position wherein the claw portion is retracted from the striking portion side and is released from engagement with the striker.

Fuel filter for vehicle

Disclosed is a fuel filter in which is disposed in a fuel suction port of a fuel tank or in a fuel line and used to filter the fuel. At least one of filter materials constituting the fuel filter is made into a multifunctional filter material having a function of trapping dust of different particle diameters in stages, by differing the diameter of the pores in the filter material from the primary side to the secondary side of the filter material so that the size of the pores decreases toward the secondary side.

A fuel filter device includes a bag-shaped filter member and is adapted to be attached to communicate an inner space of the filter member with a fuel suction opening in a fuel tank. The filter member is configured in a multilayer structure. At least one layer of the filter member is configured to serve as an inhibition layer having a structure to prevent water in a fuel tank form coming into the inner space of the filter member by a pressure applied to the filter member when the water is frozen.

Filter device utilizing returned fuel to prolong filter life

A lock mechanism holds a moving member on a main body immovably in a locked state and allows movement in an unlocked state. The lock mechanism includes a circulating cam groove formed on the main body or the moving member, and a trace member having an angle bracket shape with one and the other trace parts to sway on the main body or moving member. The one trace part circulates along the circulating cam groove in each approaching and moving away operation of the moving member, and locks the moving member in a state having coupled with the coupling part. A wall surface is formed on the main body or moving member to be disposed in a different position from the circulating cam groove so that the other trace part of the trace member is operable to contact the wall surface only in the locked state of the moving member.

Lock mechanism and latch device

A valve for a fuel tank includes an upper space or chamber communicating with a ventilation channel; a lower chamber disposed inside a fuel tank; a communicating part for communicating the upper space with the lower chamber; and a float body disposed inside the lower chamber for floating to block the communicating part from the lower chamber when fuel flows into the lower chamber. A space between an inner surface of the lower chamber and an outer surface of the float body becomes a flow channel for gas when the float body is in a lower position. A distance between the outer surface of the float body and the inner surface of the lower chamber is not uniform in a circumferential direction of the float body. A portion having a large distance functions as a main flow channel for gas.

Valve for fuel tank

An operating mechanism for a reciprocating component includes a moving member having a mounting section for attaching the reciprocating component, and a base with a guide. The guide has a backward path guide section and a forward path guide section that faces the backward path guide section. The moving member accumulates a backward travel force while being guided by the backward path guide section and moved to a mid point in the backward operation, and fully moves back by releasing the accumulated travel force from the mid point. The moving member accumulates a forward travel force while being guided by the forward path guide section and moved to a mid point from the fully moved back position in the forward operation, and fully moves forward by releasing the accumulated travel force from the mid point.

Operating mechanism for reciprocating component

In a cap device for a fuel tank, a main portion includes an operation portion, a sealing member and an engaging portion. When the main portion is inserted into an opening portion of the fuel tank and rotated by a predetermined angle, the sealing member is pressed against the opening portion and the engaging portion engages the opening portion, thereby fixing the cap device to the opening portion. The main portion also includes a shaft portion, a movable member having the engaging portion, and a cam mechanism disposed between the shaft portion and the movable member for allowing the shaft port ion to move separately from the movable member, so that the engaging portion engages the opening portion according to the vertical movement of the shaft portion through the cam mechanism.

Cap device for fuel tank

A latch device engages and releases a striker by push-and-push operations. The latch device includes a case having an opening for receiving the striker therethrough, a latch member disposed inside the case and being able to be switched between an engagement position where the striker is prevented from being removed and a release position where the striker can be removed, a spring member for urging the latch member to the release position, generally heart-shaped cam grooves symmetrically provided on two sides of the latch member, and a pin member having a general U-shape and disposed inside the case. The pin member includes a U-shape intermediate portion disposed on a side opposite to the opening of the case, and edges formed at U-shape side portions. The edges project toward each other to engage and trace the cam grooves.

A fastener for elongated bodies includes a base member, a press-and-clamp member, a stopper member and an engaging member. The press-and-clamp member has appropriate rigidity and is swingably connected to one end of the base member by means of a hinge so that the inner surface of the press-and-clamp member is capable of abutting the upper surface of the base member. The stopper member rises arcuately from the other end of the base member and has outer surface claws. The engaging member has a substantially U-shaped sectional profile, is integral with the press-and-clamp member, defines a space for admitting the stopper member and has inner surface claws releasably engageable with the outer surface claws of the stopper member when the stopper member is admitted in the space. Elongated bodies are clamped between the inner surface of the press-and-clamp member and the upper surface of the base member.
