A plurality of devices connected to a network each includes at least either one or more output plugs for transmitting one or more data streams, or one or more input plugs for receiving one or more data streams, and each of the devices is capable of packeting a plurality of data streams and isochronously transferring the packet to another device in the network. Connection setting program, designed to set connection between a transmission source device and a transmission destination device in the network, includes a step of detecting a predetermined condition for performing automatic setting of logical connection, and a setting step of, in response to detection of the predetermined condition, automatically setting logical connection between the one or more input plugs and the one or more output plugs of the devices. Such arrangements facilitate setting of logical connection between the devices interconnected via the network.

Connection setting program method and apparatus

A keyboard apparatus of this electronic musical instrument is provided with touch curves TWthrough TWp, TBthrough TBq each defining a velocity value Vc varying with a key-depression velocity Kv (TD). Each of keys Kthrough Kn of a keyboardis associated with one of the touch curves TWthrough Twp, TBthrough TBq by touch selecting tables SW, SB in accordance with an equalization rule and a weighting rule. Upon a key-depression, in accordance with the velocity curve TWr, TBs selected on the basis of an actual depressed key position Ki (M), an actual key-depression velocity Kva is converted into a velocity Vca for controlling emission of a tone (M).

Keyboard apparatus of electronic musical instrument

A communication control apparatus is provided for setting a plurality of node apparatuses to either of a transmitter and a receiver of synchronization information to synchronize the node apparatuses with each other. A storage device memorizes capability information representing either of an active capability to transmit the synchronization information and a passive capability to receive the synchronization information, owned by each of the node apparatuses. An indicating device indicates the active capabilities and the passive capabilities owned by the node apparatuses. A specifying device is operated in association with the indicated active capabilities and the passive capabilities for outputting status information effective to specify each node apparatus to a transmitter or a receiver. A plurality of memory blocks are provided in correspondence to the plurality of the node apparatuses to memorize status information. A registering device registers each of the outputted status information into each memory block to set the corresponding node apparatus to a transmitter of the synchronization information when the status information specifies the transmitter, and to set the corresponding node apparatus to a receiver of the synchronization information when the status information specifies the receiver.
