It is aimed to provide a press-fit terminal connection structure in which a board connecting portion of a press-fit terminal is press-fit into a through hole provided in a printed circuit board and which can combine the suppression of scraping of a surface layer and a reduction of a necessary load when the press-fit terminal is inserted into and withdrawn from the through hole and an improvement of a holding force for keeping the press-fit terminal inserted in the through hole. In the press-fit terminal connection structure, the press-fit terminal includes, at least on a surface of the contact point portion, an alloy containing layer mainly containing tin and palladium, and the through hole includes a tin layer on an outermost surface of an inner peripheral surface including at least the contact point portion.

An electric contact includes a bulge-shaped contact having a bulge shape, and a plate-shaped contact that has a plate shape and comes into electrical contact with an apex portion of the bulge-shaped contact. The bulge-shaped contact has a silver-tin alloy layer and a silver coating layer that coats the surface of the silver-tin alloy layer and is exposed at an outermost surface. The plate-shaped contact has a silver layer that does not have a silver-tin alloy layer directly below and is exposed at the outermost surface. Also, a connector terminal pair has such an electric contact in a contacting portion.

A press-fit terminal is adapted to be press-fitted in an through-hole of board for electrically conducting with the press-fit terminal. The press-fit terminal includes a terminal-base portion and a board inserting portion at least partially plated with tin. A thickness of the plated tin is from 0.1 to 0.8 &#x3bc;m.

An open/close body control system for a vehicle can stabilize outputs of a pair of electrically operated motors (M , M ) which drive an open/close body for a vehicle. Speeds of the electrically-operated motor (M , M ) are synchronously controlled such that predictive positions (XLt&plus;1, XRt&plus;1) of electrically-operated motor (M , M ) after a lapse of a unit time gradually approach a target position (XTRG) calculated based on present positions (XLt, XRt) and a target speed (&Dgr;XTRG) of the electrically-operated motors (M , M ).

An elastic tongue piece is arranged in an engaging part in which a male terminal can be engaged. The elastic tongue piece is constructed in such a manner that a base end portion is fixed to a backward part of an upper wall of the engaging part , and a distal end portion extends forward in the engaging part by way of a curved portion continued from the base end portion . A contact is formed at the distal end portion of the tongue piece , and at an intermediate position of the tongue piece between the curved portion and the contact , is provided a fulcrum portion which is in contact with a wall face of a lower wall of the engaging part and slidable with respect to the wall face. From the foregoing data, the corresponding reaction force and extent of complete insertion are set. Consequently, the insulation displacement terminal at an insulation displacement position is determined to meet the above-set values.

An insulation plate (20) is provided with a window or a slot (21). A fusible element or circuit (31) is laid on a surface of the insulation plate (20) across the window (21). When the circuit (31) is heated by current-conduction, a fusible path (33) of the circuit (31) spanned in air across the window (21) melts at a predetermined current level, since heat generated in the fusible path (31) is not absorbed in the insulation plate (20). It is possible to transform the plate fuse depending on the conditions of use, and its configuration is substantially flexible.
