A joint structure includes a first metallic material having a first projection, a second metallic material similar to and weldable to the first metallic material, and a different material having a first penetrating part and sandwiched between the first and second metallic materials, the different material being difficult to weld to the first and second metallic materials. The first projection is smaller than the first penetrating part and is spaced from the rim of the first penetrating part. The first projection is positioned in the first penetrating part and spaced from the second metallic material by a gap. The gap has a size of a predetermined percentage of the thickness of the first projection to which arc welding is applied. The first and second metallic materials are melted and joined together inside the first penetrating part to compress and fix the different material, so all three are fixed together.

Joint structure

A laser welding method according to the present disclosure includes a coupling forming step and a welding step. In the coupling forming step, a T coupling is formed by superimposing a side surface of a first member and a lower surface of a second member on each other. In the welding step, an upper surface of the second member opposite to the lower surface is irradiated with a laser beam so that the first member and the second member are welded to each other by the laser beam. Moreover, in the welding step, the laser beam is moved in a direction along the side surface of the first member while being weaved.

Laser welding method

A laser device includes: a laser resonator for emitting a laser beam; a condenser lens for collecting the laser beam emitted from the laser resonator; an optical fiber for transmitting the laser beam collected by the condenser lens; at least one light sensor opposing a light receiving surface of the condenser lens and outside an optical path of the laser beam, the at least one light sensor detecting an amount of return light from the condenser lens; and a controller for determining a presence of an abnormality when a value of the amount detected by the at least one light sensor is greater than a predetermined maximum threshold.

A laser welding method according to the present disclosure includes a step in which a third material is interposed between a first material and a second material, which are made of the same type of metal so as to be weldable to one another, and at least one of which is provided with a protruding portion, wherein the third material is difficult to weld to the first material and the second material and has a through-hole portion into which the protruding portion is inserted. The method also includes a step in which, when the third material is interposed between the first material and the second material, a region corresponding to the protruding portion is irradiated with a laser beam from the first material side, and the first material and the second material are welded via the through-hole portion. In the step in which the third material is interposed between the first material and the second material, a first gap is provided between the protruding portion and the inner peripheral face of the through-hole portion, and a second gap corresponding to the plate thickness of the first material is provided between the first material and the second material in the region corresponding to the protruding portion.

A fiber coupling device () includes the following components: a wedge plate () for receiving light and refracting the light in a predetermined direction, a condenser lens () for collecting the light refracted by the wedge plate (); and an optical fiber () having an incident surface for receiving the light collected by the condenser lens (). The wedge plate () is held rotatable around the optical axis () of the light incident on the wedge plate (). The light refracted by the wedge plate () and collected by the condenser lens () is incident on a different point on the incident surface depending on the rotation angle of the wedge plate ().

Fiber coupling device

A welding target is irradiated with a laser beam so as to form a beam spot that moves relatively with respect to the welding target along a locus having a spiral shape rotating around a rotation center moving in a welding direction. The welding target is welded using the laser beam irradiated with. While the welding target is irradiated with the laser beam, the welding target is irradiated with the laser beam based on an interval coefficient which is a value indicating an overlapping degree of the locus having the spiral shape in the welding direction.

Laser welding method, laser welding conditions determining method, and laser welding system

An arc-welding method in welding by repeating a short circuit and an arc. When the sign of opening of the short circuit is detected, the welding current is reduced from a first current value at the detection of the sign to a second current value, which is lower than the first current value. When the opening of the short circuit is detected, a pulse current having a peak value higher than the first current value is supplied at a plurality of times in the arc period. This suppresses porosities and spatters when galvanized steel sheets are welded.

Arc-welding method and arc-welding apparatus

A laser welding method of the present disclosure includes the step of irradiating a workpiece with a laser beam in a helical shape along a weld part of the workpiece. The helical shape is a combination of a circular trajectory in which a laser beam is moved circularly, and a movement trajectory in which the laser beam is moved in a proceeding direction along the weld part. Furthermore, first energy of the laser beam moving so as to have a component of the proceeding direction in the circular trajectory is larger than second energy of the laser beam moving so as to have a component of an opposite direction to the proceeding direction in the circular trajectory.

A laser machining system includes a laser oscillator, a laser machining head, and a reflection unit. The laser oscillator outputs laser light. The laser machining head, which includes a first optical member for collecting the laser light, emits the collected laser light. The reflection unit, which includes a reflective member for reflecting the laser light emitted from the laser machining head, radiates the reflected laser light onto a work.

Laser machining system and laser machining method

A laser welding method of the present disclosure has a first step and a second step. In the first step, a first workpiece and a second workpiece are overlaid in a first machining region. In the second step, the first workpiece and the second workpiece are irradiated with laser beam in the first machining region while the laser beam is moved in a spiral path. Moreover, in the second step, the first workpiece and the second workpiece are melted by irradiation of the laser beam to form a liquid phase portion. Furthermore, in the second step, the laser beam is moved so that the liquid phase portion is not irradiated with the laser beam again.

A method for determining a laser welding condition of the present disclosure includes a first step, a second step, and a third step. In the first step, workpiece information indicating characteristics of a workpiece is input. In the second step, laser information indicating characteristics of laser light is input. In the third step, a first welding condition is calculated based on the workpiece information and the laser information, and then displayed. The first welding condition is any one of a recommended laser power of the laser light, a recommended welding speed, a recommended welding pattern, an estimated strength of a welded portion, and an estimated weld depth of the welded portion. Furthermore, the workpiece information includes a joint shape of the workpiece. Thus, an optimum weld condition can be set while considering a shape of a joint in welding.

Laser welding condition determination method and laser welding device

A laser machining head includes a collimation lens, a focusing lens, and a nozzle unit. The nozzle unit includes a protective member, an inner nozzle, an outer nozzle, a nozzle holding section, and an orifice. The outer nozzle is disposed outside the inner nozzle and the nozzle holding section holds the inner nozzle and the outer nozzle. The orifice is in contact with the inner nozzle and is interposed between the nozzle holding section and the outer nozzle. The nozzle holding section has a first gas path connecting the air supply port disposed in the nozzle holding section and the orifice. The orifice has a third gas path for connecting a second gas path disposed between the inner nozzle and the outer nozzle, and the first gas path. In the vicinity of the tip of the nozzle unit, an opening connected to the second gas path is disposed.

Laser machining head

A laser welding method of the present disclosure includes a first step, a second step, and a third step. In the first step, a first workpiece and a second workpiece are stacked on each other. Each of the first workpiece and the second workpiece has a surface coated with a first material and is made of a second material, which is different from the first material. In the second step, a first region in which the first workpiece and the second workpiece are stacked on each other is irradiated with a laser beam so that the laser beam penetrates both the first workpiece and the second workpiece. In the third step, a second region including the first region is irradiated with a laser beam in a spiral fashion.

Laser welding method and laser welding device

A method of welding surface-treated members together using a welding wire includes a step of transferring a droplet detached from the wire to the members; and a step of pushing the melt pool in the direction opposite to the direction of welding in such a manner that the gas generated from the members during welding is released from the site of generation. The melt pool is pushed to expose the overlapped region of these members. The gas generated from the members is released to the exposed portion, preventing generation of pores such as blowholes, and also generation of spatters.

Method of welding surface-treated members using a welding wire

The present invention is a weld line-detecting method when fillet welding by an industrial robot including a welding torch is taught. The welding torch on which an angle sensor having a contactor is attached is moved toward a welding object, angle information obtained when the contactor is in contact with the welding object is transmitted to the industrial robot, and the industrial robot moves the welding torch based on the angle information so that the angle of the contactor becomes zero. These operations are repeated, and the welding torch is moved toward a fillet part along the surface of the welding object. When the contactor arrives at the fillet part, a signal indicating that the contactor is pressed in the axial direction of the contactor is transmitted to the industrial robot. The industrial robot detects that the contactor arrives at the position to be welded on the weld line.
