A protective cover that is pre-folded by a protective cover pre-folding apparatus is supplied to a pack producing apparatus. After sheets are stacked on the protective cover, the protective cover is fully folded onto the sheets to produce a pack, which is then inserted into a bag to produce a package. The package is then delivered from a package stacking apparatus.

Block copolymer rubber composition comprising the same and pneumatic tire made therefrom

A rubber composition for a tire tread comprising (1) (i) 60 to 90 parts by weight of natural rubber and/or polyisoprene rubber, (ii) 10 to 35 parts by weight of a high cis polybutadiene rubber having a melt viscosity of 90 to 150 cps and a cis content of 90% by weight or more, and (iii) 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of an A-B type block copolymer composed of (A) a poly(styrene-butadiene) or polybutadiene block having a styrene content (St) of 0 to 35% by weight and a butadiene content (Bd) of 65 to 100% by weight, having a 1,2-vinyl bond content (Vn) of 5 to 80 mol %, and satisfying the relationship of Vn&lE;2St&plus;30 and (B) a polyisoprene block having a cis content of at least 70% by weight, in a ratio by weight (A)/(B) of 20 to 80/80 to 20, and (2) 40 to 60 parts by weight of carbon black having an N,SA of 125 m,/g or more.

Rubber composition for tire tread

A recording sheet package containing a pile of recording sheets in a box-shaped casing. The casing has a paper feed-out opening formed in one end thereof, and a feed roller entrance formed through a top wall of the casing in connection to the paper feed-out opening, for allowing feed rollers to access a topmost one of the piled recording sheets. The recording sheets are piled up on the movable bottom plate that is disposed on a bottom wall of the casing, so as to be able to flap up and down relative to the bottom wall. A push-up plate entrance is formed through the bottom wall in connection to the paper feed-out opening, for allowing a push-up plate of a paper feeding cassette to push up the movable bottom plate and press the topmost recording sheet onto the feed roller. A pressing plate is disposed under the top wall so as to be able to flap up and down relative to the top wall. The pressing plate presses the pile of recording sheets onto the movable bottom plate, so the pile of recording sheets is tightly held between these members. The casing is made from a cardboard paper having a moisture tight polymeric layer formed on one side thereof, such that the moisture tight polymeric layer is oriented outward of the casing.

Block copolymer and rubber composition and pneumatic tire containing the same

A rubber composition for a tire tread comprising 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber and 35 to 60 parts by weight of a carbon black having a nitrogen specific surface area (N.sub.2 SA) of 120-150 m.sup.2 /g, a 24M4DBP of 95-110 ml/100 g, an N.sub.2 SA/IA of 0.95-1.05, a .DELTA.Dst of less than 70 nm, a Tint of more than 130, and a toluene discoloration (T%) of not less than 70% but less than 80%.

The cap tread portion composed of a rubber composition having a tan.delta. (0.degree. C.) of at least 0.45 and a tan.delta. (60.degree. C.) of at least 0.25 comprising (i) a p-phenylenediamine type antioxidant, 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline etc, and carbon black having a nitrogen specific surface area of at least 70 m.sup.2 /g and a 24M4DBP of at least 80 ml/100 g or (ii) a p-phenylenediamine based antioxidant, a 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline or other polymer mixture of a specific polymer content, and carbon black having a nitrogen specific surface area of at least 70 m.sup.2 /g and a 24M4DBP of at least 80 ml/100 g, blended with a rubber.

Pneumatic tire having improved abrasion resistance

A rubber composition for a tire tread comprising (i) 100 parts by weight of a diene based rubber containing at least one styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber having a glass transition temperature of -60.degree. C. to -20.degree. C. and (ii) 20 to 75 parts by weight of carbon black having CTAB of 85 to 110 m.sup.2 /g, C-DBP of more than 105 ml/100 g, N.sub.2 SA/IA of more than 1.10, Tint of more than 105, .DELTA.Dst of 60 to 80 nm, and CTAB of less than 230-5.8 (dn) wherein dn is the average particle size (nm), measured by an electron microscope.

A rubber composition for tire treads is disclosed which is designed to exhibit high resistance to skidding on wet, icy and snowy roads. A selected rubber blend of styrene-butadiene rubber and natural rubber and/or polyisoprene rubber is combined with a selected carbon black of specified specific surface areas and also with a selected softener of specified viscosity-gravity constants. The styrene-butadiene rubber consists essentially of two styrene-butadiene block copolymers each having varied styrene and vinyl contents and a specified transition temperature width, one block having a higher glass transition temperature than the other.

Rubber composition for use as a tire tread

A rubber composition for tire treads which comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber component comprising 10 to 100 parts by weight of a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber produced by a solution polymerization and 90 to 0 parts by weight of at least one of other diene rubbers having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -60.degree. C. at lowest, and at least 70 parts by weight of a carbon black mixed in the rubber component, the styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber having a styrene content of 45 to 65% by weight, a content of butadiene derived vinyl groups of 20 to 70 parts by weight and a content of a styrene sequence consisting of not less than 8 bonded styrene monomer units of at largest 10% by weight of the above styrene content.

Disclosed is a process for producing an information recording medium of air-sandwich type for optically recording or reproducing information which comprises an information recording disc and hubs provided on both sides at the center thereof. In the process, using a receiving tool provided with a disc-shaped raised portion for receiving a substrate at its center and a hub-receiving center axis extended upward from the center, a circular hole of the disc is fitted to the raised portion of the receiving tool, then a magnetizable hub having a magnetizable substance and a clamping hole at the center is fitted coaxially to the recording disc, and the hub is joined to the disc. Thereafter, the disc joined with the hub is turned over and fitted onto other receiving tool, and the other hub is joined to the disc. Otherwise, after one hub is joined to the recording disc on one side, another magnetizable hub may be joined to the back side of the recording disc by fitting the magnetizable hub to a different receiving tool and then fitting the above-obtained disc onto the magnetizable hub.

Process for producing information recording medium

An information recording medium for writing and/or reading information by means of a laser beam comprises an information recording disc and a magnetizable hub. The information recording disc has a circular hole at its center, and the magnetizable hub is fitted into the hole of the disc. The magnetizable hub comprises a boss and a flange and has a hole at its center for insertion of a spindle. The boss of the hub has at its bottom a diameter being equal to or larger than the diameter of the circular hole of the recording disc. The magnetizable hub is pushed into the circular hole of the recording disc, whereby the hub is firmly fitted into the hole of the disc. The boss of the magnetizable hub may have an outwardly extended protrusion or raised portion at its bottom. The boss of the magnetizable hub may be divided into three or more separate portions.

Information recording medium having magnetizable hub

A rubber composition for tire tread, comprising a rubber mixture composed of two kinds of styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber different from each other in the styrene content and the vinyl bond content in butadiene, polybutadiene rubber, natural rubber and/or synthetic polyisoprene rubber.

Rubber compositions for use in tire treads are disclosed which are essentially made up of natural and/or a selected class of polyisoprene rubbers of specified cis contents and a selected class of styrene-butadiene rubbers of specified styrene and 1,2-bond contents. The composition has a unique viscoelasticity curve, exhibiting sufficient wet skid resistance and adequate fuel saving.

Rubber compositions for tire treads

A method of cleaning a magnetic disk comprises the steps of rotating a magnetic disk housed in a cage, feeding a gas into the case, and at the same time sucking the gas from the inside of the case via window openings formed in upper and lower surfaces of the case, whereby the efficiency of discharge of dust from the case is improved by interaction of the gas feeding with the gas suction. An apparatus for cleaning a magnetic disk comprises a rotation shaft for rotating a magnetic disk housed in a case. The rotation shaft is provided with a gas passageway in the inside, and a gas discharging hole which is formed near a leading end portion to communicate with the gas passageway and which is opened inward of the case. A gas feeder is disposed for feeding gas into the gas passageway, and two gas suction devices for sucking gas from the case in the course of rotation of the magnetic disk are disposed to face respectively window openings formed in upper and lower surfaces of the case.
