A throttle valve device includes a body, a valve, a motor, and a cover. The body defines a passage, a motor space, and a connecting portion that connects the motor space to the passage. The motor includes a motor yoke made of a magnetic material, a plurality of magnets that are arranged on an inner circumferential surface of the motor yoke. The plurality of magnets are magnetized in a state where the motor yoke is disposed in the motor space of the body. The plurality of magnets are arranged in a circumferential direction in the motor yoke with a space. The connecting portion is aligned with the space between the plurality of magnets in a radial direction of the motor yoke.

Throttle valve device and method for magnetizing the same

A throttle valve device includes a body, a valve, a motor, a speed reducer, and a cover. The body that defines a passage and a motor space therein. The motor includes a motor yoke, a magnet, a motor shaft, a pair of motor bearings, an armature core, a commutator, a brush, and a brush holder. The motor yoke is made of a magnetic material. The brush holder holds the brush. The motor yoke has an open end that is covered by the brush holder.

Throttle valve device

A surface of a bearing member on a flow passage forming chamber-side is disposed to be exposed to the chamber. The bearing member includes a contact part, with which a side surface of a butterfly valve that is opposed to the bearing member is in contact, on at least a part of the surface of the bearing member on the chamber-side. The bearing member is a radial ball bearing and includes an outer bearing ring that is fitted to an inner periphery of a shaft hole, so that its axial displacement relative to a body is restricted, an inner bearing ring that is fitted on an outer periphery of a rotation shaft radially inward of the outer bearing ring, and a rolling element disposed between the outer bearing ring and the inner bearing ring. The contact part is provided on a surface of the inner bearing ring on the chamber-side.

Valve device

A housing defines a bore in a tubular shape to draw intake air to an engine. A shaft is supported rotationally relative to the housing. A valve is located in the bore and affixed to the shaft. An electric actuator is configured to rotate one end of the shaft. A load generating unit is configured to apply a biasing load onto the shaft from the one end of the shaft toward the bore in a high-temperature state in which a temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature.

Electronic throttle valve

A housing has an intake passage extending substantially in a vertical direction of a vehicle. A valve is configured to open and dose the intake passage. A shaft supports the valve. A bearing supports the shaft. A hose is connected with an upper side of the housing in the vertical direction and configured to lead intake air into the intake passage. A communication passage configured to communicate an inside of an internal combustion engine of the vehicle with the hose. The communication passage has an opening in the vicinity of a point directly above the bearing. The hose has a wall surface defining a condensate passage, which connects the opening with a target location from which condensate is to be dropped.

Air intake apparatus for internal combustion engine

A housing has an intake passage extending substantially in a vertical direction of a vehicle. A valve is configured to open and close the intake passage. A shaft supports the valve. A bearing supports the shaft. A hose is connected with an upper side of the housing in the vertical direction and configured to lead intake air into the intake passage. A communication passage configured to communicate an inside of an internal combustion engine of the vehicle with the hose. The communication passage has an opening in the vicinity of a point directly above the bearing. The hose has a wall surface defining a condensate passage, which connects the opening with a target location from which condensate is to be dropped.

A valve assembly is disclosed that includes a first and a second valve assembly parts that collectively define a duct. The valve assembly also includes a valve unit that includes a housing defining a fluid flow path therethrough. The valve unit is coupled to the first valve assembly part such that the fluid flow path is in fluid communication with the duct. A control valve is also included for controlling flow of fluid in the flow path. Furthermore, the valve assembly includes a sealing member that seals a space between the first valve assembly part and the second valve assembly part, that seals a space between the first valve assembly part and the valve unit, and that dampens vibration transmitted to the valve unit.

Valve assembly having a sealing member

A method of manufacturing a valve unit is disclosed that includes providing a plurality of injection molding dies that define a cavity corresponding in shape to the valve unit. The valve unit includes a housing and a valve, and the housing defines a fluid flow path with an axis having an upstream direction and a downstream direction corresponding to a predetermined direction of fluid flow in the fluid flow path. The valve is cantilevered and includes a valve body having a coupled end rotationally coupled to the housing and a free end, and the valve body rotates about the coupled end to thereby change flow through the fluid flow path. The method also includes simultaneously molding the housing and the valve within the cavity such that the valve body is formed with the free end extending away from the downstream direction of the axis of the fluid flow path.

Method for manufacturing valve unit

An in-tank type fuel pump which can easily be installed and reduces the vibration caused by the fuel pump. The fuel pumped up by a pump part passes through a filter to have foreign matter contained therein removed. Then, the fuel flows from a fuel passage, through an opening part in a cap, into a recessed part and a second fuel passage. The fuel that has flowed into the second fuel passage lifts a check valve and flows into the recessed part. Then, the fuel flows through a third fuel passage to a discharge pipe, and then is guided to the outside of the fuel tank. A ball moves within a large-diameter passage according to the fuel pressure to regulate the fuel pressure required for fuel injection. When the fuel pumping is ceased, the fuel pressure falls to 0, and therefore the ball is forced to contact a valve seat by the spring force of a compression coil spring. Then, the head part of the check valve is forced to contact a valve seat to block the fuel passage. As a result, the residual fuel pressure can be maintained downstream from the recessed part.
