Illuminating apparatus

A socket assembly for accommodating an IC chip or package (IC) provided with a socket body having a generally rectangular configuration. A plurality of flat plate-like contact pins are arranged forming rows in parallel with each other so as to form rows along four sides of the socket body, respectively. Each contact pin has a base portion and an arm which extends curved upward from the base portion. An upward contact portion for coming into contact with a terminal of an IC is formed on one end of the base portion of the contact pin, and a connecting portion for the connection to the printed circuit board is formed on the other end of the base portion. Four sliders are arranged along the four sides of the socket body, respectively. Each slider is supported by the base portions and arms of the row-forming contact pins and can move between an open position for accommodating the IC and a pressing position for pressing against the IC by an elastic force of the arms to bring the terminals of the IC into press-contact with the contact portions of the contact pins.

Socket assembly

The present invention provides a composite lens system, a lens unit and an image pickup device, wherein the productivity is enhanced, while maintaining an optical performance, by achieving an axis-aligning adjustment for the composite lens system easily and appropriately. The positioning of adjacent lenses in a direction of optical axes is achieved by bringing optically non-functioning faces of the adjacent lenses into engagement with each other directly or indirectly with another member interposed therebetween. The lenses have adjusting faces which are formed thereon, so that angles formed by the lenses with respect to the optical axes are different from each other, and which are used for an axis-aligning adjustment for the lenses. The axis-aligning adjustment is achieved by an adjusting member disposed to engage both the adjusting faces of the adjacent lenses.

A display panel socket has a substantially rectangular socket body, panel positioning means for positioning the substrate of the display panel with respect to the socket body, film attachment boards attached to the socket body in parallel to the directions of arrangement of electrode terminals of the display panel via position adjusting means so that the positions can be adjusted, and flexible wiring boards which are attached to the film attachment boards and have contactors to be brought in contact with the electrode terminals of the display panel. Each of the position adjusting means has a biasing spring for spring biasing a film attachment board in one direction among the longitudinal directions of the same and an adjustment member for adjusting the position of an end portion of the film attachment board against the spring force. Both of the biasing spring and the adjustment member are arranged on the socket body so that they act upon the same end portion of the film attachment board.

Socket for a display panel

A socket assembly for accomodating an IC chip or package (IC) provided with a socket body having a generally rectangular configuration. A plurality of flat plate-like contact pins are arranged forming rows in parallel with each other so as to form rows along four sides of the socket body, respectively. Each contact pin has a base portion and an arm which extends curved upward from the base portion. An upward contact portion for coming into contact with a terminal of an IC is formed on one end of the base portion of the contact pin, and a connecting portion for the connection to the printed circuit board is formed on the other end of the base portion. Four sliders are arranged along the four sides of the socket body, respectively. Each slider is supported by the base portions and arms of the row-foring contact pins and can move between an open position for accommodating the IC and a pressing position for pressing against the IC by an elastic force of the arms to bring the terminals of the IC into press-contact with the contact portions of the contact pins.

An electric contact apparatus has a flexible contact sheet 13. A plurality of conductive elements 14 are provided on a front side of the flexible contact sheet 13 and are arranged in parallel with each other along the direction of arrangement of electrodes 4 arranged on an insulating substrate 2 of a liquid crystal display panel 1 so as to be brought into contact with the electrodes 4, respectively. An internally sealed elastic tube 17 is supported in a groove 18 formed on one side of a pressing plate 11 and extends along the direction of arrangement of the conductive elements 14 so as to press a part of each contact region between the conductive elements 14 and the electrodes 4.

Electric contact apparatus for inspecting a liquid crystal display panel

A wire holder has holding pieces abutting against the optical fiber or other wire. The holding pieces are held by a connecting portion so as to be able to displace using positions away from the positions where the wire abuts as supporting points. When the wire is pressed by the holding pieces, the holding pieces displace using as supporting points positions away from the positions where the wire abuts so as to firmly hold the wire.

Apparatus for holding a wire-shaped member

Contact films 9 are provided on a socket body 6, and a pressing plate 11 can freely advance and retract so as to move outward from the upper surface of a substrate 1a of the display panel placed on the contact films 9. A clamp lever 14 is provided above the pressing plate. The pressing plate 11 is advanced to place the front end thereof on the substrate of the display panel, then the back surface of the pressing plate is pressed by the clamp lever 14.

A display panel inspecting contact apparatus has a contact film which is to be brought into contact with individual electrodes on a substrate of a color display panel. Contactors for three colors and individual electrodes for three colors are arranged on one surface of the film substrate in a contact area of the front end of the contact film so that they are respectively brought into contact separately for each of the colors. Of the contactors, the contactors for the first color and second color are arranged at the front portion in the contact area at the front end of the contact film, while the contactors for the third color are arranged at the rear portion in the contact area at the front end of the contact film.

Four sliders are arranged along the four sides of the socket body, respectively. Each slider is supported by the base portions and arms of the row-foring contact pins and can move between an open position for accommodating the IC and a pressing position for pressing against the IC by an elastic force of the arms to bring the terminals of the IC into press-contact with the contact portions of the contact pins.

A socket comprises a socket body and a plurality of contactors mounted on the socket body for electrical contact with leads of an electrical component at bottom sides of the leads. Holding members are mounted on the socket body. At least one slider made of an insulating member is held by the holding members and movable between a retracted position where the slider does not confront with the leads of the electrical component and a forward position where the slider can confront with the leads. The slider is urged by springs toward the forward position from the retracted position and is also urged by the holding members in a direction toward the leads. An operating member has a first operating portion which can push the holding members to move the slider upward from the leads of the electrical component and a second operating portion which can move the slider from the forward position to the retracted position against the urging force of the springs after the slider has been moved upward from the leads.

Socket for electrical connection of an electrical component

An IC socket is provided with a core block and a plurality of floating members or separating members for forming a plurality of rows each including a multitude of contact pins. For example, base sections of a plurality of first contact pins are fitted between a plurality of ribs formed on an upper surface of the core block, and base sections of a plurality of second contact pins are fitted between a plurality of ribs formed on a lower surface of the core block. A first floating member and a second floating member are integrally displaceable in horizontal directions, and contact portions of the first contact pins and contact portions of the second contact pins are fitted respectively between a plurality of ribs formed on the first floating member and between a plurality of ribs formed on the second floating member. The IC socket is suitable for testing of IC devices having multitude of lead terminals arranged at fine pitch.

IC socket

A display panel inspection socket has a socket body for holding a display panel having electrode terminals arranged on at least one side of the surface of an insulating base plate. Contacts are formed on contact films attached to the socket body. An elastic supporting member extends along a direction of arrangement of the electrode terminals and supporting the back surfaces of the contact films is attached to the socket body. A clip member is attached on the side of the socket body so as to grip the socket body and the insulating base plate of the display panel. When the clip member is moved from a releasing position to a pressing position, the back surface of the insulating base plate of the display panel is pressed by the clip member. This moves the electrode terminals of the display panel and the contacts on the contact films are electrically connected under a required contact pressure.
