A vehicle rear door includes a door panel, a door frame, a division bar, and a movable window. The movable window has a flange portion formed with teeth. The division bar includes upper and lower division bars which are separately arranged and respectively guide the flange portion so that a part of the teeth is exposed between the upper and lower division bars. Each of the upper and lower division bars has a guide wall that guides an end surface of the flange portion which is opposite to the teeth. Each of the upper and lower division bars has a mount portion. The vehicle rear door further includes a motor unit bracket fixed to the mount portions of the upper and lower division bars and supporting a pinion that is engaged with the exposed teeth between the upper and lower division bars.

A resin window includes a plate-shaped main body portion and a gear projection portion that is molded integrally with the main body portion so as to project in a thickness direction of the main body portion from a rear end portion of the main body portion. A part of a side face of the gear projection portion is surrounded by a gear-side guide frame for guiding the raising/lowering of the resin window. The gear projection portion includes a meshing gear provided along a vertical direction to mesh with a drive gear, and positioning members provided respectively on upper and lower end portions of the gear projection portion to abut on an inside surface of the gear-side guide frame. When the drive gear is rotated, the positioning members slide relative to the inside surface of the gear-side guide frame, and thus the resin window can be raised or lowered along the gear-side guide frame.

Support structure for vehicular resin window

A vehicle speaker including a panel, a giant magnetostrictive vibrator, and a vibration transmission pad. The panel is used as a diaphragm for producing high-frequency sound and forms part of a vehicle. The giant magnetostrictive vibrator is used as a vibration exciter for the panel and includes a vibration output shaft that vibrates in accordance with a signal for producing high-frequency sound. The vibration transmission pad is fixed to the panel and connected to the vibration output shaft in a manner enabling vibration transmission. The vibration transmission pad vibrates the panel when the vibration output shaft vibrates.

A sunroof panel is composed of a resin panel and a weather strip. The resin panel is a plate-like resin panel and has a vehicle interior surface and a vehicle exterior surface, which are substantially parallel to each other. The resin panel is attached to a frame by means of a urethane adhesive. The resin panel has a peripheral portion, which extends from a portion sticking to the urethane adhesive to a side face, and a central portion surrounded by the peripheral portion. The peripheral portion is thinner than the central portion. The side face of the resin panel is formed so as to be inclined inwardly toward the vehicle interior surface. An approach-R portion is formed on a peripheral portion of the vehicle exterior surface.

A light transmitting panel mounting structure for mounting a transmitting panel is provided with a frame having a mounting flange, a light transmitting panel bonded relatively movably to the frame and a weather strip held by the mounting flange of the frame for sealing a space between the frame and the light transmitting panel. The weather strip has a body portion, a leg portion extending from the body portion to face the body portion for clamping the mounting flange of the frame in cooperation with the body portion, and a hollow lip having a hollow cross-sectional shape and projecting from the leg portion in elastic contact with an end face of the light transmitting panel. The hollow lip has a bent portion that is collapsible while shifting toward the leg portion when the hollow lip is subjected to an external force, and the bent portion is provided with a groove for assisting the collapsing action.

Resin windows having electrically conductive terminals

A panel is attached to a panel frame such that the panel is movable relative to the panel frame. A weather strip is attached to the frame to seal the periphery of the panel. A gap is defined between the end of the panel and an adjacent inner wall of the weather strip. Cohesive elastic material is located in the gap. The panel end face is inclined by an acute angle relative to the upper surface of the panel such that the gap widens in the downward direction. When compressed and deformed between the end of the panel and the inner wall of the weather strip, the elastic material is pressed downward, which prevents the elastic material from bulging upward and spoiling the appearance of the weather strip.

Panel attaching structure for vehicles

A sliding roof capable of opening/closing an opening window formed in a roof body, including a frame having a raised portion around the outer circumference thereof, a panel attached to the frame, and a weather strip fitted between the raised portion and the panel. The raised portion is provided with a projection with an edge directed to a proximal end side of the raised portion for preventing the weather strip from being pulled apart. The projection is formed by shearing work of the raised portion.

A resin window 1 with a conductor in which a conductor print 3 is interposed between a resin panel 2 and a resin film 4 joined to one side of the resin panel, includes a metal film 6 provided on one side of the resin film 4 that is joined to the resin panel 2. The metal film 6 is connected to a conductor print 3 at a portion thereof and is exposed through an opening 5 formed in the resin film 4. The resin panel 2 has integrally formed fixing pins 7 that protrude to the outer surface side of the resin film 4 through the metal film 6. A terminal 8 is secured to a resin window 1 by heat treating the fixing pins 7 with a mounting base 8a of the terminal 8 made of electrically conductive material being overlaid on the metal film 6.
