Paper sheet handling apparatus

In a paper sheet storing apparatus housed in a paper sheet handling apparatus, a storage part stores paper sheets. An ejection port ejects a paper sheet of the paper sheets stored in the storage part. A first roller is arranged near the ejection port, and is rotated in a predetermined direction by transmission of rotation caused by drive of a drive shaft so as to send out the paper sheet from the ejection port. A driven shaft is rotated in the predetermined direction following the rotation of the first roller. A second roller is arranged in a position farther from the ejection port than a first roller, and is rotated in the predetermined direction by transmission of rotation of the driven shaft so as to sequentially feed, to the first roller, the paper sheets from a paper sheet positioned in a lowest layer among the paper sheets.

In a system, a carrier includes one or more contact members that come into contact with a paper sheet bundle in which one or more paper sheets are stacked, to push the paper sheet bundle, and the paper sheet bundle is conveyed by the carrier along a conveying path. Suppressing unit that suppresses the paper sheet constituting the paper sheet bundle from passing through a gap existing between a constituent member and the contact members to enter on an inner side of the carrier, the constituent member forming a space of the conveying path, the paper sheet bundle pushed by the carrier coming into contact with the constituent member.

Bundle transport apparatus for paper sheet materials and handling apparatus for the same

A stage on to which a bill bundle is carried is moved to a lower end position in order to feed the bills through a feeding mechanism. The bill bundle is pressed by a pusher so that a bill located at the bottom touches a pick roller with appropriate pressure. With reference to a position being detected by a sensor, the distance over which the stage is moved below that position is determined. The distance is subtracted from the maximum distance over which the stage is movable downward from the reference position, thus determining the height of the bundle of papers when it is pressed.
