A vehicular lamp includes a light emitter, a first light guide, and a second light guide. The first light guide has a first incident surface, a first light guiding portion that guides the entering light, a first light emission surface that emits light guided by the first light guiding portion, and a first reflecting surface that reflects the light guided by the first light guiding portion in a direction toward the second light guide. The second light guide has a second light emission surface that emits light that enters the second light guide after being reflected by the first reflecting surface, and a second reflecting surface that reflects the light that enters the second light guide after being reflected by the first reflecting surface toward the second light emission surface.

Light

A translucent member is arranged so as to cause light originating from an LED light source oriented toward the front of a lamp to enter the translucent member. Outgoing LED light that has entered the translucent member is reflected rearward by a front surface, and then the light is reflected forward by a rear surface, to thereby exit forward of the lamp from the translucent member. At that time, an area on the front surface located in the vicinity of an optical axis Ax is formed as a normal reflection section subjected to reflection surface treatment. The other area of the front surface is formed as an internal reflection section which causes the outgoing LED light to undergo internal reflection. A plurality of reflection elements are formed on the rear surface of the translucent member so as to cause the outgoing LED light reflected from the front surface to enter the internal reflection section at an incidence angle which is smaller than or equal to a critical angle.

Vehicle lamp

A vehicular marker lamp such as a tail and stop lamp, including a translucent member extending substantially along a translucent cover which is red and transparent with first light-emitting diodes in the back and second light-emitting diodes near the side end of the cover. The translucent member has a direct light-emitting region that transmits light, which is incident to the translucent member from the first light-emitting diodes, toward the front, and indirect light-emitting regions that internally reflect light, which is incident to the translucent member from the second light-emitting diodes, so as to emit such light toward the front. The direct light-emitting region is a red transparent region, and the indirect light-emitting regions are colorless transparent regions, thus allowing the appearances of the direct and indirect light-emitting regions to be significantly different from each other when the lamp is lit.

Vehicular marker lamp

A vehicular headlamp apparatus with a washing function for washing the transparent member of the headlamp apparatus, comprising a washing unit for washing the surface of the transparent member and a light irradiation unit installed in a lamp housing comprised of the transparent member and a lamp body. The nozzle section of the washing unit that includes an injection nozzle and horizontally movable has a cover assembly. When washing the injection nozzle is moved to project out of the lamp apparatus and injects washing liquid to the transparent member. When washing is not performed, the injection nozzle is retracted inside the lamp apparatus and the decoration cover assembly forms the front surface of the headlamp apparatus together with its transparent member.
