A delay correction system is used for a wireless telephone system in which a base station apparatus and at least one subscriber apparatus carry out transmitting and receiving operations via respective communication means, in conformance with a time division multiple access (TDMA) system using the base station apparatus as a synchronization reference. The delay correction system includes a measuring instruction input unit for inputting a delay measuring instruction which instructs a delay measurement, a delay measuring unit for measuring a delay quantity between the base station apparatus and the subscriber apparatus, and a first timing adjusting unit, provided in the subscriber apparatus, for receiving transmitting information which is to be sent to the base station apparatus at an allocated time slot, and for adjusting a timing of the transmitting information depending on the delay quantity before sending the transmitting information.

Delay correction system for wireless telephone system

A base transceiver station in a wireless local loop system using a personal handy-phone system constituted by a plurality of cell stations, each accommodating a plurality of subscriber units, a hybrid section integrally handling signals transmitted and received by the plurality of cell stations via a single antenna, and a multiplexing/demultiplexing unit integrally handling the signals transferred between the plurality of cell stations and an existing network, thereby enabling construction of a wireless local loop system which is small in size, can expand the service area without an increase of interference with other base transceiver stations, has a good affinity with existing networks, is provided with ISDN functions, and, at the same time, provides backup against faults and improves the transmission quality and reliability.

Base transceiver station and subscriber unit in wireless local loop system using personal handy-phone system and method for operating same

A cable television network for transmitting video signals to subscribers through cables, comprising a video channel selection type radio transmission apparatus on a cable branch side in the network and a video channel selection type radio reception apparatus on a subscriber side. The video channel selection type radio transmission apparatus includes a channel selector for selecting a video signal for a channel designated by a channel selection signal which is transmitted from the subscriber. Also included are a frequency converter for converting the frequency of the selected video signal to a predetermined radio frequency and transmitting the video signal, and a receiver for the channel selection signal transmitted from the subscriber, and a controller of the video signal selecting operation of the channel selector. The radio reception apparatus includes a receiver for a video signal transmitted from the radio transmission apparatus, converting the received video signal to a predetermined frequency and transmitting the video signal to a television receiver of the subscriber, and a radio wave transmitter for transmitting the channel selection signal for designating the channel selected by the subscriber.

Channel selection type radio transmission apparatus

An electronic device includes a case having a partitional wall dividing the case interior into a first compartment and a second compartment and having one or more interrupting walls in the first compartment. Substrates are disposed in the first compartment and are arrayed in rows, with the interrupting wall being interposed between the adjacent rows. A circuit board is disposed in the second compartment and is electrically connected to the integrated circuits by elements extending through the partitional wall. A signal input terminal and a signal output terminal for the substrates are disposed at one side wall of the case. This structure makes it possible to realize a small-sized device, easy mounting and demounting of the substrates, and unvarying electrical characteristics.
