The present invention aims at maintaining the high focusing performance at a low deflection power in a single-beam projection tube which is used as a projection type TV receiver or a projector and is operated at a high voltage and with a high current. The neck outer diameter of a portion on which a deflection yoke is mounted is made smaller than the neck outer diameter of a portion which accommodates an electron gun. The maximum anode voltage of the projection tube is set to equal to or more than 25 kV and the maximum beam current is set to equal to or more than 4 mA

Projection tube having different neck diameters

A projection tube having a high focusing performance at a low deflection power includes a funnel, a neck portion and a stem portion which seals the neck portion. The neck portion of the projection tube includes a first neck portion which is connected to the funnel and has a first neck outer diameter, and also includes a second neck portion which accommodates an electron gun and has a second neck outer diameter which is larger than the first neck outer diameter.

Resin compositions and use of the same

The present invention provides a cathode ray tube which exhibits a favorable contrast by enhancing a speed modulation effect. A front-stage anode electrode and a focus electrode which constitute an electron gun are respectively divided into a plurality of portions. A plurality of portions of the divided front-stage anode electrode are arranged in the tube axis direction at given intervals and are electrically connected with each other. A plurality of portions of the divided focus electrode are arranged in the tube axis direction at given intervals and are electrically connected with each other. Due to gaps formed in the front-stage anode electrode and the focus electrode, the speed modulation effect is increased.

Cathode ray tube

A cathode ray tube has an anode and a focus electrode. The large-diameter cylinder portion of the focus electrode is disposed concentrically within a large-diameter cylinder portion of the anode. The anode and a first electrode facing a cathode side end of the focus electrode are electrically connected together within the cathode ray tube. The following relationship is satisfied: &minus;LP&plus;184.9&gE;LG &gE;0.0004 LP &minus;0.1571 LP &plus;21.006 LP&minus;922.41, where LG (mm) is an axial length of the focus electrode, and LP (mm) is a distance from a phosphor screen side end of the focus electrode to a center of a phosphor screen.

Soft resin compositions comprising a polyethylene resin (A) and an ethylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer (B) comprising ethylene and an &agr;-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms at a specific proportion, or an ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer resin composition comprising a linear ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer (A-&agr;) comprising ethylene and an &agr;-olefin having 4 to 20 carbon atoms and a long-chain branched ethylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer (B-&agr;) comprising ethylene and an &agr;-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms in a specific proportion, wherein a density and MFR of the polyethylene resin (A) and the copolymer (A-&agr;), and a density, MFR, intrinsic viscosity, glass transition temperature, crystallinity, molecular weight distribution, B value and g&eegr;* values of the copolymers (B) and (B-&agr;) are each in a specific range.

The polypropylene composite film of the present invention comprises (A) a crystalline polypropylene layer and (B) a propylene-1-butene random copolymer layer which is laminated on at least one surface of the crystalline polypropylene layer (A). The propylene/1-butene random copolymer (B) has the following properties: (1) the copolymer comprises 50 to 95% by mol of constituent units derived from propylene and 50 to 5% by mol of constituent units derived from 1-butene, (2) the intrinsic viscosity is 0.1 to 5 dl/g, (3) the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) is not less than 3, and (4) the parameter B value is 1.0 to 1.5. The crystalline polypropylene layer (A) of this composite film may be unstretched, monoaxially stretched or biaxially oriented. The polypropylene composite film has excellent heat-sealing properties, such as low-temperature heat-sealing properties and heat-sealing strength, and hot tack properties. The polypropylene composite film is almost free from surface tackiness and shows good slip properties and high blocking resistance at high temperatures, so that it is suitable for high-speed packaging. In addition, this composite film also has good transparency and scratch resistance. The polypropylene composite film of the invention having the above-mentioned excellent properties can be favorably used for packaging of foods, fill packaging and fiber packaging.

Polypropylene composite film

There is provided a cathode ray tube capable of displaying high quality images by suppressing eddy current from occurring and by realizing the velocity modulation. A cylindrical focusing electrode is divided into first cylindrical focusing electrode B and second cylindrical focusing electrode T and the gap between the both electrodes formed and divided by optimizing the length of the second cylindrical focusing electrode T in the tube axial direction is enlarged substantially to increase the infiltration of the velocity modulating magnetic field to the non-electric space of the focusing electrode . An electrode having the equal potential with the focusing electrode is disposed at the gap to suppress eddy current from being generated.

A lens structure of a pre-focus part of an Hi-UPF electron gun to be used for a cathode ray tube has a cathode, a control electrode, an acceleration electrode, a first anode, a focus electrode and a second anode arranged in this order. The first anode and the second anode are to be commonly supplied with an anode voltage, and the focus electrode is to be supplied with a focus electrode. In a cathode ray tube of this construction, in the pre-focus part, the control electrode has an electrode beam passage hole of 0.57 mm or smaller and the distance in the vicinity of the electron beam passage hole between the acceleration electrode and the first anode is 1.9 mm or smaller.

According to the present invention, a polyester resin composition superior in the impact resistance, especially low-temperature impact resistance, and in the stiffness as well as in the fracture toughness can be obtained. The polyester resin composition according to the present invention is a composition which comprises, per 100 parts by weight of a polyester resin (A), 5-200 parts by weight of a graft-modified ethylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer (B) obtained by grafting onto an ethylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer (B-1) composed of ethylene unit and of an &agr;-olefin unit of 6-20 carbon atoms an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative (B-2), wherein the grafting amount of the unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative (B-2) is 0.01-10% by weight and wherein the said ethylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer (B-1) before being graft-modified has (a) a content of the &agr;-olefin unit of 6-20 carbon atoms of 6-25 mole % and (b) a melt flow rate (ASTM D 1238, 190&deg; C., 2.16 kg load) of 0.1-50 g/10 min.

Polyester resin composition

A projection type cathode ray tube has a panel and an electron gun. The electron gun has a plurality of electrodes including a cathode, a control electrode, an accelerating electrode, a first anode, a focus electrode and a second anode, which electrodes are arranged in a tube axial direction at predetermined intervals. The second anode has a first cylindrical portion at the panel side and a second cylindrical portion at the cathode side, the first cylindrical portion having a larger inner dinner diameter than the inner diameter of the second cylindrical portion. The focus electrode has a panel side cylindrical portion with an inner diameter D and a length L , an intermediate cylindrical portion with an inner diameter D and a length L , and a cathode side cylindrical portion with an inner diameter D and a length L . The inner diameters D , D , and D are different from each other. The focus electrode also has a first funnel like connecting portion between the panel side cylindrical portion and the intermediate cylindrical portion.

Electron gun for cathode ray tube

A cathode ray tube has an anode of a large-diameter cylinder portion on its phosphor screen side and a small-diameter cylinder portion on its cathode side connected together, and a focus electrode formed of a large-diameter cylinder portion of a diameter larger than that of the small-diameter cylinder portion of the anode and a small-diameter cylinder portion having a diameter smaller than that of the small-diameter cylinder portion of the anode, the large-diameter and small-diameter cylinder portions being connected together. The large-diameter cylinder portion of the focus electrode is disposed concentrically within the large-diameter cylinder portion of the anode. The anode and a first electrode facing a cathode side end of the focus electrode are electrically connected together within the cathode ray tube. The following relationship is satisfied: &minus;LP&plus;184.9&gE;LG &gE;0.0004 LP &minus;0.1571 LP &plus;21.006 LP&minus;922.41, LP&gE;131.7, where LG (mm) is an axial length of the focus electrode, and LP (mm) is a distance from a phosphor screen side end of the focus electrode to a center of the phosphor screen.

Cathode ray tube including an electron gun having specific relation between axial length of focus electrode and lens-screen distance

A polypropylene resin composition capable of bringing about a non-stretched film superior in the transparency, in the impact resistance, in the low temperature heat-sealability and in the strength of heat-sealing, which composition comprises (A) a polypropylene resin, (B) a specific ethylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer and (C) a specific propylene/ethylene/1 -butene random copolymer.

Polypropylene resin composition and non-stretched film thereof

The resin composition of the invention is a composition which includes 100 parts by weight of a polyethylene resin (A) and 2 to 5,000 parts by weight of a linear ethylene/a-olefin random copolymer (B) which includes ethylene and an a-olefin of 6 to 20 carbon atoms, wherein the polyethylene resin (A) has (a) MFR (ASTM D 1238, 190&deg; C., load of 2.16 kg) of 0.1 to 200 g/10 min and (b) a density of 0.901 to 0.970 g/cm ; and the copolymer (B) has (a) a density of 0.870 to 0.900 g/cm , (b) an intrinsic viscosity (&eegr;), as measured in decalin at 135&deg; C., of 0.3 to 3.0 dl/g, (c) a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not higher than &minus;50&deg; C., (d) a crystallinity, as measured by X-ray diffractometry, of less than 40%, (e) a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn), as measured by GPC, of not more than 3.0, (f) a B value, as determined by the C-NMR spectrum and a specific equation, of 1.0 to 1.4, and (g) a ratio g&eegr;* of more than 0.95 (g&eegr;*&equals;(&eegr;)/(&eegr;) (&eegr;): intrinsic viscosity of this copolymer determined in the property (b), (&eegr;) : intrinsic viscosity of a linear ethylene/propylene copolymer having the same weight-average molecular weight (measured by a light scattering method) as this copolymer and having an ethylene content of 70% by mol). This resin composition can provide molded products of excellent pliability and tensile properties.

A polypropylene resin-containing flexible resin composition can provide molded products well-balanced among flexibility, heat resistance and compression set and having improved scratch resistance and transparency and which exhibits such high flowability as to cause excellent moldability, and a molded product thereof. The flexible resin composition of the invention is prepared in the presence of a metallocene catalyst and comprises an ethylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer (A) and a polypropylene resin (B) in a specific ratio. The flexible resin composition has excellent moldability, so that it can be favorably used as a resin composition for injection molding, extrusion molding and compression molding. The flexible resin molded product produced from the flexible resin composition is well balanced among flexibility, heat resistance and compression set and has excellent scratch resistance and transparency.
