A combustion type driving tool including a combustion chamber frame which is provided in a housing, and can move in one direction and in the other direction thereby to define a combustion chamber when it has moved in the other direction, moving means which can select either of a manual operation valid state and a manual operation invalid state, and permits the combustion chamber frame to move in the other direction by manual operation, only in the manual operation valid state, and a link mechanism. The link mechanism has a connection partconnected to the combustion chamber frame at its one end, an operation part which can be pressed at its other end, and a rotation shaft provided between the connection part and the operation part and extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to a moving direction of the combustion chamber frame to be selectively positioned, wherein the operation part rotates around the rotation shaft when it is manually pressed, and the connection part can move in the other direction.

Combustion type driving tool

A pneumatically operated screw driver ensuring a complete return of a piston to its top dead center. The screw driver has a compressed air return chamber for returning the piston to its top dead center by applying a compressed air in the return chamber to the piston. The piston includes a main piston and an auxiliary piston. The main piston is first reaches its bottom dead center, and then the auxiliary piston reaches its bottom dead center whereupon screw driving is terminated. Before the auxiliary piston reaches its bottom dead center, and after the main piston moves past a predetermined position, a compressed air is introduced into the return chamber. After the main piston reaches the bottom dead center, application of the compressed air pressure in the return chamber to the auxiliary piston is prevented.

Pneumatically operated screw driver

A destructive device, wherein treated material () including a foam body is pre-compressed in thickness direction and fed to the opposed part of a pair of compression rolls (), partition walls forming independent air bubbles in the foam body is destructed by the compression rolls () and foam gas is arrested into a cover () installed on the outlet side of the compression rolls (), the foam gas is liquefied and separated by a cooling and liquefying device () through a cooling device () after pressurized, together with medium gas () for collection, by a pressurizing device (), and the medium gas for collection from which the foam gas is separated is returned into the cover (), whereby, since the foam gas is liquefied and separated in pressurized state by the cooling and liquefying device () by arresting the foam gas in high density inside the cover (), the device can be remarkably downsized and simplified, and a device cost and an operation cost can also be remarkably reduced.

Destructive device, foam gas collecting device, and foam gas separating and collecting system

A pneumatically operated screw driver ensuring a complete return of a piston to its top dead center. The screw driver has a compressed air return chamber for returning the piston to its top dead center by applying a compressed air in the return chamber to the piston. The piston includes a main piston and an auxiliary piston. The auxiliary piston includes a piston section and a flange section those being disposed in the main piston. The piston section is slidably movable relative to the main piston, and the flange section is axially spaced away from the piston section and radially spaced away from the main piston. After the main piston reaches its bottom dead center, the auxiliary piston further moves toward its bottom dead center. An air space chamber is provided between the piston section and the flange section and within the main piston.

A combustion type power tool capable of avoiding damage to seal members and a housing to prolong a service life, and capable of enhancing operability and workability. Temperature elevation of a combustion chamber frame due to combustion of a mixture of combustible gas and air is detected by a temperature sensor disposed in a housing. If the detected temperature exceeds a preset temperature, ignition of an ignition plug is prohibited by a prohibiting unit in spite of ON operation of a trigger switch. In this state, alarming is performed by a display to notify the user of the inoperable state of the tool. Similar control can be made when the temperature sensor is disposed at a cylinder, an exhaust cover and the housing.

Combustion type power tool having avoiding unit for avoiding overheating to mechanical components in the tool

A compact and light-weight pneumatically operated screw driver providing high speed screw fastening with high operability. A rotary member rotationally driven by a pneumatic motor includes a main rotary member made from a plastic material and a sliding segment fixed to the main rotary member. A rotation slide member is axially slidably movable relative to the rotary member and is rotatable together with the rotation of the rotary member. A shut-off section is provided on which the rotation slide member is rotationally seated when the rotation slide member is moved toward the shut-off section. The rotation slide member is made from an elastic material. A sleeve like piston having a seal ring in sliding contact with a cylinder is provided. The seal ring shuts off a supply of compressed air to the pneumatic motor only by the seating of the rotation slide member onto the shut-off section.

Two guide members cooperatively constitute a chuck portion for holding a screw head. Opening and closing of the chuck portion is regulated depending on a mutual position between a machine body and a member into which a screw is driven. Guide pin portions of respective guide members engage with a stopper portion of a push lever until a screw is driven to a predetermined depth. The chuck potion tightly holds the screw head until a screw fastening operation is substantially finished, thereby suppressing the lifting of a machine body.

Screw fastening machine

A reciprocating tool includes a rotatable drive gear. A pin connected to the drive gear is eccentric with respect to an axis of rotation of the drive gear. A plunger extending perpendicular to the pin is movable upward and downward. A connector fixed to the plunger engages the pin. A cam is provided with the pin at an eccentric position. A cam holding member has an eccentric recess accommodating at least part of the cam. The cam holding member is connected to the drive gear for rotation responsive to rotation of the drive gear. A first engagement portion is provided on the cam. A second engagement portion is provided on the cam holding member. The second engagement portion is engageable with the first engagement portion. Engagement between the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion can be canceled to allow rotation of the cam relative to the cam holding member. It is possible to establish engagement between the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion while holding the cam at an angular position which occurs as a result of the rotation of the cam.

Reciprocating tool

A main valve and a manual operating valve cooperatively control the compressed air supplied to an air motor and a piston. The main valve is responsive to the compressed air supplied from the manual operating valve via an air passage. An orifice is provided in the air passage to reduce the speed of the compressed air supplied to the main valve so that the shift movement of the main valve is delayed when the manual operating valve is closed.

Pneumatically operable screw driver

An air motor has a rotor rotatable in response to the pressure of pressurized air. A cylindrical rotary member is connected to the air motor for causing a rotation in synchronism with the rotation of the rotor. A rotary slider is slidable in the axial direction along the inner cylindrical wall of the rotary member. A rotational force transmitting mechanism is provided for transmitting the rotation of the rotary member to the rotary slider. A shaft has one end fixed to the rotary slider and the other end equipped with a piston and a driver bit holder. The rotational and axial motion of the rotary slider is transmitted to a driver bit held in the driver bit holder. And, a cylinder guides the axial slide movement of the piston responsive to the pressure of pressurized air applied on a pressure-receiving surface of the piston.

A spindle motor includes a printed wiring board. A stator is fixed to the printed wiring board. A housing is fixed to the printed wiring board. A bearing is provided on the housing. A rotor shaft is rotatably supported by the bearing. A hub base is mounted on the rotor shaft. A stator winding provided on the stator is bonded to the printed wiring board. The stator may have an inner circumferential portion formed with a plurality of grooves. In this case, it is preferable that the printed wiring board has a plurality of through holes at positions corresponding to positions of the grooves in the stator.

Spindle motor

A power screw driver includes a clutch mechanism composed of a coiled clutch spring so designed as to entangle a drive shaft member and an output shaft member to connect them together, thereby enabling the drive and output shaft members to rotate in unison. By the use of the coiled clutch spring, the clutch engaging operation is achieved smoothly and silently without accompanying impact blow or shock, thereby securing reliable transmission of a torque from the drive shaft member to the output shaft member. The coiled clutch spring may be activated only when the drive shaft member is rotating in the forward direction, in which instance a one-way clutch is used to undertake transmission of the torque when the drive shaft member is rotating in the reverse direction. As an alternative, a single clutch spring may be used to undertake transmission of the torque in the forward and reverse rotational directions. Alternatively, two coiled clutch springs each provided for one rotational direction may be used.

Power screwdriver and clutch mechanism used therein

A pneumatically operated screw driver having a moving unit rotatable about its axis by rotation of a rotor and movable axially by a pneumatic pressure. The moving unit includes a spline shaft supported by the rotor through a ball spline, and a drive bit aligned with the spline shaft and engageable with a head of a screw. The spline shaft has an annular flange portion. A movable piston is disposed concentrically over the spline shaft and movable in an axial direction thereof with respect to the spline shaft. A spring is disposed over the spline shaft and is interposed between the movable piston and the flange portion. A stop member is provided to a rotor or a frame body. If pneumatic pressure is applied to the movable piston, the latter is axially moved downwardly and is brought into abutment with the stop member. The spline shaft is also moved axially slightly after the movement of the movable piston. The shrinkage of the spring will generate shape-restoration force thereof to further move the spline shaft after the stop of the movable piston.

An improved structure of an impact screwdriver is provided which achieves a low-noise screw-driving operation. The impact screwdriver includes a clutch assembly for transmitting torque provided by a motor to a tool bit. The clutch assembly includes a toque-transmitting member, a torque-outputting member, and a clutch coil spring. The clutch coil spring is selectively wound around the torque-transmitting member and the torque-outputting member according to a rotational difference therebetween to establish torque transmission for providing the torque to the tool bit intermittently.

Low-noise impact screwdriver

At least two vibration proof elements are interposed between a tool body and the handle thereof. Each of the elements has a first supporting member connected to the handle, and two rubber blocks interposed between the first and second supporting members so that the element functions as a shock absorber. The first supporting member is partially received in the second supporting member in such a manner that the first supporting member is reciprocally movable with respect to the second supporting member when a force is applied to the element in a longitudinal direction of the tool body. Each of the first and second supporting members has a U-shaped portion so that the inner surface of the second supporting member abuts the outer surface of the first supporting member thus preventing the handle from excessively rotating about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and passing through the elements.
