The magnetism detection device includes a case including a plurality of outer wall portions and a lid portion and configured to accommodate the magnet (Mr) and the magnetic sensor (Sr) inside and a shielding member having a flat plate shape and a shape corresponding to the lid portion and attached to the lid portion. The shielding member includes a protruding portion protruding outward from an outer peripheral portion. The case includes a recessed portion opening inward at an end portion outside of the lid portion and configured to accommodate the protruding portion. The recessed portion includes a plurality of sidewall portions having different widths and a plurality of upper wall portions having different heights.

An absolute encoder includes a first worm gear portion rotating according to rotation of a main shaft and a first worm wheel portion meshing with the first worm gear portion. To reduce the influence of an unintended magnetic flux of a permanent magnet on detection accuracy. An absolute encoder () includes a magnet provided at a tip end side of any one of a first worm gear portion () and a second worm gear portion (), and an angle sensor configured to detect a rotation angle of the magnet in response to a change in magnetic flux generated from the magnet. In the magnet, a first magnetic pole portion of a first polarity and a second magnetic pole portion of a second polarity different from the first polarity are formed adjacent to each other as viewed from an axial end surface of the magnet. The first magnetic pole portion and the second magnetic pole portion are formed adjacent to each other in a radial direction with a radial center of the magnet as a boundary, and the first magnetic pole portion and the second magnetic pole portion are formed adjacent to each other in an axial direction with an axial center as a boundary. The absolute encoder () is provided with a magnetic interference reduction member formed of a magnetic material on a radially outer peripheral surface of the magnet.

An absolute encoder includes a spindle gear fixed to a motor shaft, a permanent magnet provided on the spindle gear, and a first driven gear having a center axis perpendicular to a center axis of a worm gear portion, and engaging the worm gear portion. The absolute encoder includes a second driving gear provided coaxially with the first driven gear and rotating according to a rotation of the first driven gear, and a second driven gear having a center axis perpendicular to the center axis of the first driven gear, and engaging the second driven gear. The spindle gear includes a magnet holder which is fit onto a tip end of the motor shaft, coaxially with the motor shaft, and a resin gear portion provided with the worm gear portion on an outer side in a radial direction.

An absolute encoder preferable in being made compact is provided. The absolute encoder includes a worm gear () that rotates in accordance with rotation of a main spindle, and a worm wheel () of which a central axis is perpendicular to a central axis of the worm gear (), the worm wheel engaging with the worm gear (). The worm gear () is formed using a first material, and the worm wheel () is formed using a second material different from the first material.

An absolute encoder preferable in being made compact is provided. The absolute encoder includes a first drive gear, a first permanent magnet, a first angle sensor, and a first driven gear of a central axis that is perpendicular to a central axis of the first drive gear, the first driven gear engaging with the first drive gear. The absolute encoder includes a second drive gear coaxially provided with the first driven gear, the second drive gear being configured to rotate in accordance with rotation of the first driven gear. The absolute encoder includes a second driven gear of which a central axis is perpendicular to the central axis of the first driven gear, the second driven gear engaging with the second drive gear. The absolute encoder includes a second permanent magnet provided on a top end side of the second driven gear. The absolute encoder includes a second angle sensor configured to detect a rotation angle of the second driven gear, in accordance with a change in magnetic flux generated from the second permanent magnet. A reduction ratio between the first drive gear (worm gear ()) and the first driven gear (worm wheel ()) is set to a value for mitigating an effect of backlash between the first drive gear and the first driven gear, the backlash resulting in an error in the rotation angle of the second driven gear.

Reduction mechanism and absolute encoder

An absolute encoder suitable for size reduction is provided. An absolute encoder includes: a first driving gear configured to rotate according to rotation of a spindle; a first driven gear having a center axis perpendicular to a center axis of the first driving gear and configured to engage with the first driving gear; and a second driving gear provided coaxially with the first driven gear and configured to rotate according to rotation of the first driven gear. The absolute encoder includes a permanent magnet () provided on a layshaft gear (A) having a center axis perpendicular to the center axis of the first driven gear and where a worm wheel portion () is formed to engage with the second driven gear; and a resin sheet (A) provided on the layshaft gear (A) to prevent the permanent magnet () from coming out from the layshaft gear (A) in the axial direction.

An absolute encoder includes a circuit board disposed away from a rotation shaft of a motor. The circuit board includes first fixing portions and a second fixing portion. At each of the first fixing portions, an adjustment portion is disposed between the circuit board and a top end portion of a given pillar is provided, the adjustment portion being set to adjust a distance between the circuit board and the top end portion of the given pillar, so that a height of the circuit board at each first fixing portion is set to be the same as a height of the circuit board at the second fixing portion. Each adjustment portion is a resist layer formed between a surface of the circuit board and a top end surface of a given first pillar.

An absolute encoder includes a first drive gear (worm gear) configured to rotate in accordance with rotation of a main spindle, and a first driven gear (worm wheel) that engages with the first drive gear. The absolute encoder includes a second drive gear (worm gear) provided coaxially with the first driven gear and configured to rotate in accordance with rotation of the first driven gear, and a second driven gear provided, in a plan view, on a side opposite the first drive gear with respect to the first driven gear and the second drive gear, the second driven gear engaging with the second drive gear. The absolute encoder includes an angular sensor configured to detect a rotation angle of a rotating body that is rotated in accordance with rotation of the second driven gear.

Absolute encoder for detecting rotation angle

Provided is an angle detection apparatus making it possible to reduce the labor of manufacturing while also suppressing bulkiness. The angle detection apparatus includes a first rotating body (), a second rotating body (), a first transmission mechanism () that causes the second rotating body () to rotate by reducing a speed of a rotation of the first rotating body (), a first angle detector (Ds) that detects a rotational angle of the first rotating body (), another second angle detector (Dm) that detects a rotational angle of the second rotating body (), and a processor () that specifies a number of revolutions (Rs) of the first rotating body (). The processor () specifies the number of revolutions (Rs) while dynamically varying a specification condition for specifying the number of revolutions (Rs) according to a numerical value decided according to the detected rotational angle of the first rotating body () and a reduction ratio (G) of the first transmission mechanism (), and the detected rotational angle of the second rotating body ().

Angle detection apparatus, rotation amount specification unit, and rotary driving unit

The present invention provides an absolute encoder suitable for reduction in thickness. An absolute encoder, for determining a rotation amount of a main spindle that rotates a plurality of revolutions, includes a first drive gear configured to rotate in accordance with rotation of the main spindle; a first driven gear that engages with the first drive gear; a second drive gear configured to rotate in accordance with rotation of the first driven gear; a second driven gear that engages with the second drive gear; and an angular sensor configured to detect a rotation angle at which a second rotating body is rotated in accordance with rotation of the second driven gear.

The present disclosure provides an absolute encoder capable of suppressing an increase in size while securing the resolution. An encoder includes a magnet rotating integrally with at least one rotary body and a plurality of rotary sensors detecting magnetic poles of the magnet to output detection signals having sinusoidal waveforms, each sinusoidal waveform having a different phase. The at least one rotary body includes a first rotary body rotating integrally with a main shaft and a third rotary body rotating together with the rotation of the first rotary body. The absolute encoder includes an angular sensor to detect the rotational angle of the first rotary body and the magnet is arranged in the third rotary body.
