A railcar floor structure includes: a plurality of floor panels arranged over an entire length of a passenger room of a railcar in a car longitudinal direction and including respective electric heaters; a wiring duct extending in the car longitudinal direction and arranged between a side bodyshell and car width direction end portions of the floor panels; an electricity supply cable arranged at the wiring duct, electric power being supplied to the electric heaters through the electricity supply cable; and a wire insertion opening formed at a side wall portion of the wiring duct, the side wall portion being located close to the floor panels and extending along the car longitudinal direction, the electricity supply cable passing through the wire insertion opening.

Railcar floor structure

An air flow regulator for a railway vehicle is configured so that the rattling of bars can be prevented without using welding, an affixation member, etc. An intake grill is provided at an intake opening for sucking air from an interior of a railway vehicle. The intake grill includes a frame, bars, and a reinforcement capable of deforming the bars. The frame defines an outer edge of the intake opening. The bars are plate-shaped members spanned between portions of the frame to connect the portions to each other. The reinforcement elastically deforms the bars to generate reaction force therein.

Air flow regulation member and method for manufacturing air flow regulation member

Provided is a railway vehicle air-conditioning duct that is capable of achieving a more uniform in-cabin temperature distribution through more appropriate volume distribution of conditioned air. A railway vehicle air-conditioning duct that supplies conditioned air generated by an air conditioner into a cabin and that extends in a vehicle length direction at a vehicle ceiling part has: a main duct; a chamber duct; a branch duct; and a guide part. The guide part is lower in height than the main duct, extends to a branch duct from the main duct or a partition wall in the main duct in a vehicle width direction, and supplies to the branch duct a portion of the conditioned air supplied to the main duct.

Railcar air-conditioning duct

An air conditioner includes: a suction port; a suction grill provided at the suction port and including a plurality of bars spaced apart from one another and arranged substantially parallel to one another and a suction surface located at suction-side end portions of the plurality of bars; and an air blower configured to suction air from the suction port through the suction grill. Each of the plurality of bars includes an inclined plate portion and a flow straightening plate portion, which are arranged in this order from the suction surface toward a downstream side of the flow of the air, the inclined plate portion being inclined with respect to the suction surface, the flow straightening plate portion being continuously formed from the inclined plate portion and extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the suction surface and toward the downstream side.

Air conditioner and railcar

An air-conditioning duct in a passenger car of transportation which is extended in a vehicle length direction in a ceiling portion of the passenger car utilized by the general public and receives conditioned air from an air-conditioning apparatus regulating a temperature of the air to guide the conditioned air into an inside of the passenger car. The air-conditioning duct in a passenger car has a non-uniform distribution configuration which makes the discharge volume of the conditioned air from the air-conditioning duct into the inside of the passenger car different and non-uniform among the respective regions of the inside of the passenger car.
