A printing apparatus includes: a container which accommodates a print medium; a conveyor which has a first conveying route and which conveys the print medium from the container in a conveying direction along the first conveying route; a printing unit which prints an image on the print medium conveyed in the first conveying route; and a dividing unit which performs a dividing processing with respect to the print medium conveyed in the first conveying route. The conveyor is provided with a second conveying route which is branched from the first conveying route at a branching part and in which the print medium having the image printed thereon by the printing unit is conveyed, the printing unit and the dividing unit are positioned above the container; and the dividing unit and the branching part are positioned on an upstream side in the conveying direction with respect to the printing unit.

A printing apparatus includes: a liquid storage part; a conveying unit; an image recording unit including a platen; a cutting unit; and a controller, wherein the controller cuts a recording medium by moving the cutting unit to an outer side of the platen in a scanning direction intersecting a conveying direction of the recording medium, wherein, on the outer side of the platen in the scanning direction, a standby position for the cutting unit to stand by is arranged adjacent to the liquid storage part in a front-rear direction of the printing apparatus, and wherein at least a part of the cutting unit at the standby position is disposed such that a position thereof in a width direction of the printing apparatus overlaps the liquid storage part in a plan view of the printing apparatus as viewed from front.

An image recording apparatus includes a housing, an operation panel, a sheet conveyor, a recording device, and a cutting device. The operation panel is disposed at a first-side face of the housing in a first direction. The first direction is orthogonal to a vertical direction and extends from a first side to a second side of the image recording apparatus. In the first direction, the cutting device is closer to the first side of the image recording apparatus than the recording device is and closer to the second side of the image recording apparatus than the operation panel is. The cutting device includes a cutter, and a cutter carriage to move with the cutter mounted thereon along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and the vertical direction. The operation panel overlaps a movable area of the cutter carriage when viewed in the first direction.

An image recording apparatus includes a recording unit, first and second rollers, a guide member, and a cutting unit. The recording unit performs image recording on a sheet conveyed in a conveying direction on a first conveyance path. The first roller is located further downstream than the recording unit in the first conveyance path. The second roller is located further downstream than the first roller in the first conveyance path. The guide member has a guide surface that forms a second conveyance path extending from a connection position of the first conveyance path between the first roller and the second roller. The cutting unit is located between the connection position and the second roller, cuts a sheet, and has a cutter. The guide member changes in posture between a first posture for forming the second conveyance path and a second posture for opening the second conveyance path.

A printing apparatus includes a conveyor, a print engine, and a processing device. The conveyor is configured to convey a print medium in a conveyance direction. The print engine includes a print head, and a platen configured to support the print medium conveyed by the conveyor. The print engine is configured to perform image printing on the print medium supported by the platen while moving the print head in a first direction intersecting the conveyance direction. The processing device has a processing unit removably attached thereto. The processing device is configured to perform a processing process to divide the print medium conveyed by the conveyor into a plurality of media. The processing unit has an identification section for identifying a type of the processing process executable by the processing unit.

When the first operation portion and the second operation portion are located at non-operated positions, the plate is located at a first position where the first and second plate engaging portions are respectively engaged with the first and second guide engagement portions. When the first operation portion and/or the second operation portion is located at an operated position, the plate is located at a second position where the first and second plate engaging portions are respectively spaced apart from the first and second guide engagement portions.

The document cover is movable between a closed position and an opened position. The locking member is movable to a first position and a second position and includes a first engagement portion and a second engagement portion. In response to a movement of the document cover to the opened position, the locking member moves to the first position and locks the image reading unit to the closed position. In response to a movement of the image reading unit to the opened position, the locking member moves to the second position and locks the document cover to the closed position.
