A safe system is able to execute remote maintenance reliably with respect to a process execution unit for executing a safety control in accordance with a safety program. This safety system includes: a process execution unit for executing a safety control in accordance with a safety program; a communication unit that is directly connected to the process execution unit and mediates external access to a safety program held in the process execution unit; and a support device that is connected via a network to the communication unit and, in accordance with a user operation, executes maintenance, including an addition or a change, with respect to the safety program. The support device and the communication unit identify each other by means of information that has been exchanged in advance, and exchange data required for maintenance.

Safety system and maintenance method

The present invention addresses the novel problem of protecting against threats that can arise as a result of the development of networked or intelligent control devices and control systems. This controller system includes: a control unit that executes a control operation for controlling a control target; and a security unit that is connected to the control unit and oversees and manages security functions for the controller system. The security unit includes a detection means that detects whether any unauthorized intrusion into the controller system has occurred. The control unit includes a command transmission means that transmits commands for changing the behavior of the detection means of the security unit.

Controller system

An information processing device that executes an arithmetic process includes a first processing circuit and a second processing circuit. The first processing circuit executes the arithmetic process N times consecutively. The second processing circuit executes the arithmetic process N times consecutively. N is an integer of 2 or more. This control system comprises controllers and slave devices. A control network is formed by connecting the slave devices between the controllers over communication cables. The controller generates and manages control frames for communication through the control network. The controller receives and copies the control frames, and perform loopback communication of the control frames to the controller of the control network. The controller stores the copied the control frames, or transmits the copied control frames to a database device connected by an information communication network.

Reliability with which a control device at a transmission destination can receive data is improved. In a communication system in which a plurality of control devices for factory automation are connected to a network, a communication protocol among the control devices includes a publish/subscribe type. Each of the control devices includes: a data storage unit in which control data is stored; a publisher unit that transmits data including a state of the control device of the publisher unit itself to other control devices than the control device; and a subscriber unit that receives data from each of the other control devices. When a state of each of the other control devices that is received by the subscriber unit satisfies a reception allowing condition, the publisher unit transmits the control data of the control device of the publisher unit itself.

Communication system, control device, setting device, setting method, and program

This control system is provided with a plurality of slave devices and controllers. The controller is connected to one end of a field bus which includes the plurality of slave devices that is linearly connected, and the controller is connected to the other end of the field bus through a communication cable. The controllers are provided with a CPU and a transception part. One of the controllers generates a control frame with the CPU and transmits this from the transception part, and the other of the controllers performs a loop communication of the control frame by the transception part.

Control device

A controller sets the processing in accordance with an error that may occur in data. A power supply controller system includes a power supply portion, arithmetic processing portions, and first and second monitoring circuits configured to monitor an integrity of power supply of the power supply portion. The first monitoring circuit instructs a second arithmetic processing portion to stop an operation thereof when a first watchdog timer is not reset for a predetermined period of time. The second monitoring circuit instructs a first arithmetic processing portion to stop an operation thereof when a second watchdog timer is not reset for a predetermined period of time. The first monitoring circuit further includes a third watchdog timer periodically reset by any one of the first arithmetic processing portion and the second arithmetic processing portion and instructs another arithmetic processing portion to stop an operation thereof when the third watchdog timer is not reset for a predetermined period of time.

Power supply controller system and semiconductor device

A safety device of the invention includes at least one of an input unit having one or more input terminals and an output unit having one or more output terminals, a testing unit having one or more test terminals, a rewritable nonvolatile memory configured to store setting information of a terminal specification which can be set from outside via the tool, and wherein the terminal specification of the one or more test terminals included in the testing unit is determined in accordance with the setting information of the terminal specification.

Safety device

Safety unitstofor executing a safety function processing are connected to a non-safety controller constituted by connecting a plurality of unitsincluding CPU units. A CPU busto be connected with the CPU units and a safety dedicated busfor mutually connecting the safety units are provided to the safety units. Since the safety dedicated bus is isolated from the non-safety system, reliability of the safety function can be secured. The CPU unit can read out data through the CPU bus irrespective of the safety unit and the non-safety unit.
