A waste incineration heat conversion system has an incinerator for burning waste discharged from an installation, a heat recovering section for recovering the heat generated by combustion of the waste in the incinerator, a cold generating section for generating cold by utilizing the thus recovered heat, and a pipe line for conveying the thus generated cold to the installation so that the thus conveyed cold is utilized in the installation for a purpose.

Waste incineration heat conversion system

A high efficiency and economic refuse incineration power generation system capable of stable and continuous refuse incineration operation which can adapt to fluctuation in calorific values in the refuse incinerator has been provided, wherein the same system comprises the refuse incinerator having the heat exchanger through which the medium flows, the steam turbine which is coupled to the generator, and the refrigerator which supplies cooling water to the condenser, and wherein the medium discharged from the steam turbine is circulated to the boiler via the condenser where the medium is condensed to a condensate by enhanced cooling, a portion of the vapor generated in the refuse incinerator is branched in the upper stream of the steam turbine to be supplied to the refrigerator, and the working medium discharged from the refrigerator is caused to converge with the medium flow discharged from the condenser.

Rankine cycle power generation system and a method for operating the same

The capacity control range of an interior unit of a multiple type absorption air conditioning system is increased, and turning on and off of cooling/heating and switch over between the cooling and heating can be readily and safely performed. The capacity control range is increased by reserving a liquid refrigerant in an absorption cool/warm water unit. An interior unit is connected to the absorption cool/warm water unit by a communication device. The operation of the cool/warm water unit caused by turning on and off the system and switch over between cooling and heating are automatically controlled by an operation control device. Consequently, the operation is simplified, and safety is improved.

Multiple type absorption air conditioning system

The capacity control range of an interior unit of a multiple type absorption air conditioning system is enlarged, and turning on and off of cooling/heating and switch over between the cooling and heating can be readily and safely performed. The capacity control range is increased by reserving a liquid refrigerant in an absorption cool/warm water unit. An interior unit is connected to the absorption cool/warm water unit by a communication device. The operation of the cool/warm water unit caused by turning on and off the system and switch over between cooling and heating are automatically controlled by an operation control device. Consequently, the operation is simplified, and safety is improved.

A heat storage apparatus includes a tank containing a heat storage medium and having an upper region and a lower region for holding the heat storage medium at respective temperatures above and below atmospheric temperature. To reduce heat losses and increase flexibility of use, an intermediate region having heat storage medium is maintained in the tank between the upper and lower regions at a temperature between the upper and lower temperatures. The desired temperature of the intermediate region is maintained by heating or cooling its heat storage medium, for example by use of an otherwise unused low-grade heat source.

Heat storage apparatus and method

An unit-type air conditioning system is provided to enable low-load operation of an absorption chiller heater, to thereby improve the load responsiveness, and to use such a chiller heater as an outdoor unit. A plurality of burners are provided in a high temperature generator of the absorption chiller heater, thereby enabling the low-load operation. A refrigerant return valve is provided so as to speed up the stop operation. Flow rates of pumps are controlled in accordance with detected values of temperatures in the chiller heater and a load change, thus improving the load responsiveness. Further, in the air conditioning system with this chiller heater serving as an outdoor unit, required operation prediction is performed on the basis of outer signals from load units and the like, and prediction control according to its result is conducted, further improving the load responsiveness.

Absorption chiller heater and unit-type air conditioning system

A regenerative type air conditioning equipment in which the available concentration range of a heat accumulating liquid is widened, and the quantity of the heat accumulating liquid to be stored is decreased, so that the size of the equipment is reduced, with the conditioning equipment comprises a concentration difference regeneration device which, at least, cools a medium fed to an air conditioner, using a condensate liquid and a concentrated liquid produced by vaporizing the heat accumulating liquid, and a heat pump device which cools a coolant due to adiabatic expansion. The concentration difference regeneration device includes a container with a chamber for storing the condensate liquid, a spray nozzle which sprays the condensate liquid into the condensate liquid chamber, and an evaporator which vaporizes the sprayed condensate liquid under a low pressure. The heat pump device includes a heat exchanger which performs the heat exchange between the coolant and the medium to pass through the air conditioner, and an air cooling mode medium line in which the medium having passed through the air conditioner is circulated in the order of the evaporator, heat exchanger and air conditioner.

Regenerative type air conditioning equipment

An individual air conditioning system with an absorption chiller heater having a controllable capacity, with thermal input to a burner of a high temperature regenerator being controlled by on-off control or the like even if the load is low. The temperature of cooling water is controlled in accordance with a concentration of refrigerant in an absorber, so that the refrigerating capacity of the absorption chiller heater can be freely varied from 0% to 100% without the refrigerant being frozen.

Control method and apparatus of absorption chiller heater

A cooling energy generator with a cooling energy accumulator comprises a refrigerant, absorbent liquid, and a container having a first chamber receiving the absorbent liquid, a second chamber receiving the liquid refrigerant and a vapor passage communicating with a space over the absorbent liquid in the first chamber and with a space over the liquid refrigerant in the second chamber. The absorbent liquid is sprayed in the first chamber, and the absorbent liquid is cooled during an accelerated cooling operation. The absorbent liquid is heated during the cooling energy accumulation operation, and liquid refrigerant is sprayed in the second chamber during the accelerated cooling operation and during the normal cooling operation. An air conditioning heat exchanger supplies the cooling energy to a cooling device for air conditioning, and a heat pump is provided. The cooling energy generator with the cooling energy accumulator continues to generate cooling energy for normal air cooling without any additional device even when the refrigerant is not absorbed by the absorbent because the refrigerant is circulated in the second chamber to generate the normal cooling energy.

A coldness generating apparatus comprising: an absorption type refrigerator having an evaporator for evaporating refrigerant, an absorber in which an absorbent for absorbing the thus-evaporated refrigerant steam is contained, a regenerator for heating and condensing the absorbent which has been diluted by the refrigerant steam, and a condenser for condensing and liquidizing the refrigerant steam which has been evaporated by heating and condensing the absorbent. A regenerating tank regenerates coldness generated by the evaporator, and the refrigerant comprises refrigerant having the solidification temperature lower than the freezing point so that coldness which is lower than the freezing point and which has been generated in the evaporator is regenerated in the form of ice or ice slurry. Since coldness can be regenerated at high density, cooling performance can be improved.

Apparatus and method of generating coldness

A distilling apparatus includes an evaporation section which heats raw water and causes the generation of vapor from said raw water, and a hydrophobic porous film through which the thus generated vapor is filtered. Because vapor separated from the raw water is supplied to one surface of the hydrophobic porous film, the proportion of the vapor relative to the fluid supplied to that surface of the film can be increased, thereby enabling the efficient filtering of a large amount of vapor through the film. In addition, because the temperature of condensed water obtained by cooling the vapor can be kept in the vicinity of the boiling point thereof, any gases and volatile substances contained in the raw water are prevented from dissolving in the distilled water, thereby enabling the production of extremely pure distilled water.

The present invention relates to a process for producing ultra-pure water, an apparatus for producing said ultra-pure water and a process for using the ultra-pure water produced according to said process. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for producing ultra-pure water which comprises boiling a raw water to vaporize off the volatile components from the raw water, subsequently generating steam from the water, contacting the steam with a hydrophobic, porous, gas-permeable and liquid-impermeable membrane to make the steam permeate the membrane, and then condensing the steam, as well as to an apparatus for producing said ultra-pure water and a process for using said ultra-pure water.

The method and apparatus for concentration aqueous solution in accordance with the present invention is characterized in that a hydrophobic porous membrane through which vapor can permeate, but not liquid, is brought into contact with an aqueous solution containing a solute at a concentration of at least 30%, and the water contained in the aqueous solution at the interface with the membrane is evaporated and permeates through the membrane. A method and an apparatus of recovering temperature of an aqueous solution comprising an aqueous solution concentration step in which the aqueous solution contact with the membrane, the water being evaporated; and a dilution step in which the resultant concentrated solution is diluted; wherein a temperature is obtained higher or lower than that of said aqueous solution. The method and apparatus for concentrating an aqueous solution can be used as a means or apparatus for concentrating an aqueous solution in a dilution type of heat pump, an absorption type of heat pump or an absorption type of refrigerator. Aqueous solutions for high-temperature outputs of dilution systems include aqueous solutions of sulfuric acid, nitric acid, etc., and for low-temperature outputs include aqueous solutions of potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, etc. and further for absorption systems include aqueous solutions of NaClO.sub.3, lithium bromide, etc.
