A light source device for endoscope includes a rotational body configured to rotate with a rotational axis as a center; a fluorescent body arranged in a predetermined area of the rotational body and configured to generate fluorescence by excitation light being radiated; an illuminating portion capable of selectively radiating excitation light of a first quantity and excitation light of a second quantity which is larger than the first quantity to a fluorescent body; and a control portion configured to switch between a first state of radiating the excitation light of the first quantity to the fluorescent body arranged in a first area and a second state of radiating the excitation light of the second quantity to the fluorescent body arranged in a second area.

Light source device for endoscope and endoscope system

A light source device for endoscope includes: an irradiation portion capable of radiating excitation light; a rotating body provided on an optical axis of the excitation light and configured to rotate with a rotating shaft as a center; a phosphor arranged in an irradiation area of the excitation light, and configured to generate fluorescence by being irradiated with the excitation light; a light quantity control portion configured to control irradiation intensity or irradiation time of the excitation light; and a rotation control portion configured to rotate the rotating body at a predetermined speed when the excitation light is radiated with a first irradiation intensity or time and rotate the rotating body faster than the predetermined speed when reducing the irradiation intensity or the irradiation time of the excitation light is reduced in the irradiation intensity or time vis-a-vis the first ones.

An endoscope control apparatus of the invention includes: a first connector receiving portion and a second connector receiving portion, to and from which an endoscope is attachable and detachable; a connection detection portion for detecting a connecting state of the endoscope in the first connector receiving portion and the second connector receiving portion and outputting a connection detection signal; a first patient circuit electrically connected to a post stage of the first connector receiving portion and connected also to a first reference potential point; and a second patient circuit electrically connected to a post stage of the second connector receiving portion, and connected also to a second reference potential point different from the first reference potential point.

An electric wire connector has an insulating member which has a through hole running in the axial direction and a transverse hole provided between exterior and the through hole in a different direction from the axis of the through hole; a contact which is inserted in the through hole and which has a fitting structure in a position matching an inside opening, i.e. the opening on the through hole side of the transverse hole; and a position restricting member which is inserted through an outside opening, i.e. the opening on the outer side of the transverse hole to be fitted in the fitting structure of the contact to restrict the position of the contact.

A detection signal of an image pickup device is inputted to a gate circuit to open the gate circuit by a gate signal from a drive-signal generating circuit during a period of time of a phase regulating signal section of a drive signal, to thereby output the detection signal during the period of time, to a reference reset generating circuit. The reference reset generating circuit generates a reference reset signal on the basis of the detection signal during a period of time of the inputted phase regulation signal section. The reference reset signal and a basic clock signal are inputted to a timing-pulse generating circuit for generating various kinds of timing pulses which are used in an image-pickup-signal processing circuit for processing in signal the image pickup signal.

Endoscope apparatus in which image pickup means and signal control means

An electronic endoscope apparatus has an arrangement that its discrimination circuit discriminates the type or the operational state of the light source in accordance with a discrimination signal transmitted from a discrimination signal generator, and in accordance with the result of the discrimination, the processing operation to be performed by its video signal processing circuit is changed over to correspond to the difference in the type or the operational state of the light source. The video signal processing circuit performs a proper signal processing operation to correspond to the difference in the type of the light source to prevent deterioration in the image quality. The electronic endoscope apparatus is structured so that a different type light source can be adaptably connected to it.
