According to an embodiment, a field winding interlayer short-circuit monitoring device comprises: an input unit configured to obtain field winding current values and field winding voltage values at a predetermined sampling cycle; a memory configured to store field winding resistance versus current characteristic curves at an abnormal state and a normal state; and a field winding resistance calculator configured to calculate a field winding resistance value by dividing the field winding voltage value by the field winding current; an average value calculator configured to calculate an average resistance value and an average current value by averaging those obtained during a predetermined time interval; and an image data generator configured to generate image data to display a predetermined number of average value data along with the field winding resistance versus current characteristic curves at the normal state and the abnormal state.

At least one coil airflow path among the coil airflow paths includes a first wall surface disposed on a core central portion side of a cooling gas inlet portion of the coil airflow path, a second wall surface disposed on the core central portion side of an inside of the coil airflow path, and located more on the rotor radially outward side and more on a core end portion side than the first wall surface, and a third wall surface configured to connect the first wall surface and the second wall surface, the third wall surface including a surface perpendicular to a rotor radial direction.

The guide bearing has a second slide surface being slidable relative to the first slide surface of the rotating shaft. A rotor of a rotating electric machine includes a cylindrical rotor core, a plurality of coil slots provided on an outer periphery of the rotor core along a rotor axis direction, rotor coils disposed in the coil slots by laminating a plurality of field conductors through an insulation material, a rotor wedge disposed at an opening end portion of the coil slot so as to support the rotor coil, a coil ventilation duct formed in the coil slot so as to pass through the rotor coils, the rotor wedge and the insulation material, and sub-slots provided at bottom portions of the coil slots so as to be communicated with rotor core ends and the coil ventilation ducts. In such a rotor of a rotating electric machine, the coil slot, the sub-slots and the coil ventilation duct constitute a cooling gas channel for distributing a cooling gas to thereby cool the rotor coils. It is an object of this invention to provide a dynamo-electric machine rotor which effectively and uniformly cools a rotor coil outside a rotor core by forming a ventilating groove in the rotor coil, tolerates large field current, and has high reliability. Dynamo-electric machine rotor

A rotary electric machine includes: a stator, a rotor and rotor fans contained in a closed type frame. The cooling gas is circulated in the frame by the rotor fans and warmed as a result of heat exchange with the stator and the rotor is cooled by a gas cooler. A heat pump is adapted to use cooling water or ambient air as high temperature heat source and liquid coolant as low temperature heat source. A liquid coolant circulation system for supplying liquid coolant to the heat exchange section of the gas cooler is provided. The liquid coolant is cooled by the heat pump and is supplied to the heat exchange section of the gas cooler by means of the coolant circulation system.
