An input device of the present disclosure includes a first fixed electrode, a second fixed electrode electrically insulated from the first fixed electrode, an elastic body having conductivity and positioned above the first fixed electrode and the second fixed electrode, a movable member that is positioned above the elastic body and is configured to push the elastic body toward the first fixed electrode, and an insulating layer that is positioned between the first fixed electrode and the elastic body and insulates the first fixed electrode and the elastic body from each other. The second fixed electrode and the elastic body are in contact with each other.

Input device

This input system includes an input device, an electrostatic sensor, a conduction sensor, a controller, and a determiner. When a movable contact of the input device is pressed, electrostatic capacitance between a first electrode and a second electrode changes, and when the movable contact of the input device is further pressed after the electrostatic capacitance changes, a third electrode and a fourth electrode are electrically conductive to each other. The conduction sensor detects the conduction between the third electrode and the fourth electrode. The controller switches the sensing operation of the electrostatic sensor from the OFF state to the ON state after the conduction sensor detects the conduction between the third electrode and the fourth electrode. In the ON state, the electrostatic sensor outputs a detected value related to the electrostatic capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode.

Input system and control method

A push-on switch includes a first contact plate, second contact plate, spacer, movable contact, and lid. The first plate has a projection at its center and a first terminal at its end. The second plate faces a face of the projection of the first contact plate and has an opening at its center and a second terminal at its end. The spacer is interposed between the first plate and the second plate for bonding them together. The movable contact is shaped like a dome and has a protrusion protruding downward and touches a top face of the second plate. The protrusion faces the projection of the first plate via the opening with a given space therebetween. The lid holds the movable contact and is mounted on the top face of the second plate. A push onto the movable contact reverses the movable contact downward, which allows the protrusion to touch the projection.

Push-on switch

A push switch includes a switch section for carrying out electric connection by pushing, a switch case having a groove portion on a side surface thereof and accommodating the switch section, and a terminal produced integrally with the switch case and led out from a side surface of the switch case. The groove portion extends from a vicinity of the terminal.

Push switch

A high waterproof compact push-on switch includes a first contact plate, a spacer, and a second contact plate laminated in this order. The first contact plate is substantially rectangular, and made of highly conductive flat sheet metal. The spacer is flat, rectangular, made of LCP resin, and has a circular center hole at its center. The second contact plate is substantially rectangular, made of highly conductive flat sheet metal, and has a circular central opening at its center. The spacer is thermocompression-bonded to the surfaces of the first and second contact plates so as to integrate them. On the second contact plate is provided a dome-shaped movable contact, which is covered with an adhesive protective sheet.

A taped component includes a career tape having an upper surface having recesses provided therein, and products stored in the recesses, respectively. Each of the recesses has a bottom on which each of the products is placed. The bottom has an aperture provided therein, and the aperture faces a position different from the center of gravity of each of the products. This taped component allows the product to be mounted efficiently.

Taped component and method of mounting product using the same

A push switch includes an upper movable contact, a lower movable contact, a center fixed contact, an intermediate fixed contact, and a peripheral fixed contact. The lower movable contact includes an annular portion, and four legs extending from the annular portion. One of the four legs is placed on a peripheral fixed contact. The upper movable contact faces the center fixed contact through a circular hole in the annular portion of the lower movable contact via a space between the upper movable contact and the center fixed contact. Two legs out of the four legs are located away from each other by an angular interval smaller than 90 degrees with respect to the center of the annular portion. Upon being pressed, the actuator activates two combinations of switch contacts, one combination including the movable contacts and the intermediate fixed contact and the other combination including the movable contacts and the center fixed contact, providing the push switch with a small size.

A configuration of a push switch minimizes the extent to which the switch protrudes from a wiring board, and thereby allows for a device including the switch to have smaller dimensions. Minimizing the height by which the switch protrudes above the wiring board also minimizes the moment caused by the pressing the switch which is transferred to terminals soldered to the wiring board, and thus improves the mechanical strength of the attachment to the wiring board. The configuration includes, in part, a case having a terminal protruding therefrom, wherein a lower surface position of the terminal where soldering is performed is located above a bottom surface of the case.

Push switch and electronic device loaded therewith

A push switch includes a movable contact, and a drive body. The movable contact includes an annular part with a circular central hole and four leg parts inclined and extruded downward from the outer circumferential end of the annular part by way of a deflection part, formed in a shape bulging upward at the circular central hole side. The drive body includes a flat plate with the lower end abutting against the position of the inner side of the deflection part of the movable contact, and an operation part of a smaller diameter than the abutting position provided on the flat plate, if the operation part is pressed and manipulated at a position remote from the center, a light and responsive click feel is obtained.

Push-switch

An operating body being made of a metal plate and being overlaid with polyamide resin layer, a side of the operating body having an operating part protruding from a front side of a switch case, and an other side having a driving part in an arm shape and a sliding guide in a frame shape surrounding the driving part, in which the driving part in the arm shape being compression pressed to be a thin plate, and the sliding guide being formed with an upper sliding contact in a hemisphere shape coming into contact with an undersurface of cover above the contact and a lower sliding contact formed long in back and forth direction coming into contact with a protective sheet under the contact.

A push switch is arranged to be mounted on a board. The push switch includes a case, a plurality of contacts provided in the case, an operation body for activating the plurality of contacts upon being pushed in an operation direction parallel to the surface of the board, first and second terminals protruding from the case. The case has first and second side surfaces opposite to each other. The first terminal includes a first base portion protruding from the first side surface of the case, and a first end portion extending from the first base portion in a direction non-parallel to perpendicular to the operation direction. The second terminal includes a second base portion protruding from the second side surface of the case and a second end portion extending from the second base portion in a direction non-parallel to perpendicular to the operation direction. The push switch has a small size and is mounted securely onto a board.

A push switch which includes a switch case, a first movable contact, and a second movable contact. The switch case has a central fixed contact on an inner bottom face of its recess that has an open top, and a peripheral fixed contact. The first movable contact is curved protruding upward, and has a hole at its center. The first movable contact is disposed over the peripheral fixed contact with a space in between. The second movable contact is curved protruding upward, and is placed on the first movable contact. A pressing force for resiliently inverting the second movable contact is set greater than a pressing force for resiliently inverting the first movable contact; and two tactile feedbacks are produced by pressing from a side of the second movable contact.

A push-on switch includes a movable contact which has a projecting segment permanently connected with an outer contact and which is accommodated in a recess of a switch enclosure. A sheet with a center through hole for the movable contact is placed on the switch enclosure. The push-on switch also includes a metal cover with a cover terminal. The metal cover is attached to the switch enclosure such that a pressing segment faces a disc segment of the movable contact corresponding to the position of the center through hole with a predetermined vertical gap between the pressing segment and the disc segment. When a very low and weak force is applied on the pressing segment, the pressing segment comes into contact with the disc segment to change the state of a first-stage switch.

Switch

A push-on switch according to the present invention is constructed so that a pressing part faces the top surface of a dome-shaped movable contact, across a given clearance. Such a construction allows the pressing part to be pressed a distance until the pressing part touches the movable contact to be utilized for pre-loading, even if the movable contact has a short operation stroke.
