According to an aspect of the present invention, a liquid discharge head includes a discharge outlet configured to discharge a liquid, wherein a division member dividing the discharge outlet into a plurality of regions is formed in the discharge outlet when viewed from a position facing the discharge outlet, wherein, when a direction in which the liquid is discharged from the discharge outlet is a direction upward from bottom, the division member has a first surface and a second surface facing upward, and wherein the second surface is disposed at the bottom lower than the first surface.

A liquid supply apparatus includes a liquid storage tank in communication with a liquid ejecting head that ejects liquid and a cartridge configured to be detachably provided to the liquid storage tank. The liquid storage tank includes an atmosphere communication portion in communication with the atmosphere and a first connecting portion that, in a state where the cartridge is attached to the liquid storage tank, enables the cartridge to be in liquid communication with the liquid storage tank. The liquid storage tank also includes a second connecting portion that, in the state where the cartridge is attached to the liquid storage tank, is connected to the cartridge so as to be liquid-tight with the cartridge and enables the cartridge to be in gaseous communication with the atmosphere communication portion.

An ink-jet printing apparatus includes an ink-cartridge mounting unit to which an ink cartridge having a first ink chamber containing ink is to be mounted, and a second ink chamber. Provided are a liquid ejecting method, a liquid ejecting device, and a liquid ejecting system which can avoid damage of an electro-thermal conversion element caused by cavitation and can prolong a life thereof even in a case that handling with a configuration of an ejecting port is difficult. For that purpose, ejection is performed for a low-duty region by controlling such that variation in an ejection speed is made smaller, and ejection is performed for a high-duty region by controlling such that variation in the ejection speed is made larger.

Print head and inkjet printing apparatus

Without being dependent on design changes, a liquid ejection head and a method of production thereof are provided in which when time-division driving, liquid drop landing deviance in the direction of printing is capable of being corrected. An ink jet recording head includes a nozzle array and discharge energy generation elements. The nozzles include discharge ports to discharge liquid when recording, pressure chambers to communicate with respective discharge ports, and liquid flow paths to supply liquid to the respective pressure chambers. The discharge energy generation elements apply discharge energy to the pressure chambers to discharge liquid from the nozzles in a predetermined order during time-division driving. Arranging intervals of the liquid flow paths take at least two different values. When a drive timing difference average between the adjacent discharge energy generation elements is calculated by a particular expression, a relationship of D&#x2267;Y is satisfied between an interval D and an interval Y in a k-th discharge energy generation element and a k+1-th discharge energy generation element positioned adjacent to the k-th discharge energy generation element. The intervals D and Y represent distances between particular liquid flow paths.
