A work machine includes: a controller; a first electrical circuit provided with a first power supply that supplies power to the controller; an electric drive source necessary for operating the work machine; and a second electrical circuit provided with a second power supply that supplies power to the electric drive source. The work machine further includes: a capacitor provided to the second electrical circuit; a first precharge device that performs precharge of the capacitor by using power of the first power supply; and a second precharge device that performs precharge of the capacitor by using power of the second power supply. The controller performs precharge by using one of the precharge devices when it is determined that precharge by using the other one of the precharge devices is impossible.

Work machine

A work machine that can prevent restarting of an engine against a will of an operator from an idle stop state is provided. A hydraulic excavator includes a display device that displays a confirmation screen image for allowing an operator to confirm whether or not an engine is to be restarted from an idle stop state, and an inputting device that allows the operator to input a restart instruction for the engine in an interlocked relationship with the display of the confirmation screen image. A machine controller includes a restart controlling section that restarts the engine based on the restart instruction for the engine inputted by the inputting device.

There are provided an electric motor () that is driven by an engine () to generate electric power or assists in a drive of the engine () by supply of electric power thereto, a heat exchanger () to which cooling air is supplied by a cooling fan (A), a heat exchanger upstream room () that is positioned upstream of the heat exchanger () in a flow direction of the cooling air supplied to the heat exchanger (), and an electricity storage device () that stores or discharges electric power. In addition, a radiator () for electricity storage device, a cooling pump () for electricity storage device and a cooling line () for electricity storage device configure a cooling system () for electricity storage device that independently cools the electricity storage device () aside from the inverter device (), and the cooling system () for electricity storage device is arranged in the heat exchanger upstream room ().

Hybrid-type working machine

There are provided an electric motor () driven by an engine () to generate power or assists in driving the engine (), a heat exchanger () to which cooling air is supplied by a cooling fan (A), a heat exchanger upstream room () upstream of the heat exchanger (), an electricity storage device () that stores or discharges power, and an inverter device () for controlling an operation of the electric motor (). A radiator () for cooling the electricity storage device and a radiator () for cooling the are separately provided to be independent from each other, and are arranged in parallel between the heat exchanger () and the electricity storage device () in the heat exchanger upstream room ().

An assist generator motor is driven by an engine to generate power or assists in a drive of the engine by supply of power from an electricity storage device. A revolving electric motor is driven by power supplied from the electricity storage device or supplies regeneration power generated by a regeneration operation to the electricity storage device. The assist generator motor is controlled by a first inverter. The revolving electric motor is controlled by a second inverter. The first inverter and the second inverter are mounted on a support bracket elastically supported on a revolving frame in a position different from a position where the electricity storage device is mounted.

An electric motor that is fixed to a revolving frame, an electrical equipment that is supported by the revolving frame by using a vibration absorption mount, and a cable for establishing a connection between the electric motor and the electrical equipment are provided. A connector mounting member having an outer shape smaller than that of a box is provided in the box of the electrical equipment, and an equipment-side connector is provided in the connector mounting member. A cable-side connector of the cable is connected to the equipment-side connector, and a cable end portion of the cable is fixed to the box by a clamp member. As a result, the vibration that is transmitted to the cable can be matched with the vibration that is transmitted to the cable-side connector.

When temperature is low, a low-temperature mode is selected, followed by the activation of the heating mode functionalityof a PCU. Specifically, the PCUsets the ratio of energy recovered by a capacitorto be equal to or greater than the largest value of the energy recovery ratios of the capacitorin a normal mode (e.g., assist motor:capacitor=2:8). Thus, more energy is stored on the capacitorthan in the normal mode, helping the capacitorgenerates heat. As a result, the liquid temperature of the coolant is increased, and its viscosity is reduced accordingly. As above, the invention provides a simple cooling system to be mounted on a hybrid working machine, which is capable of preventing decreases in energy efficiency at low temperature.
