A machine learning apparatus for optimizing transfer of heat quantity is provided. A machine learning apparatus for learning at least one of a temperature and a flowrate at which a thermal transfer apparatus transfers a thermal medium in an air conditioning system including a device on a heat-providing side, a device on a heat-using side, and the thermal transfer apparatus configured to transfer the thermal medium from the device on the heat-providing side to the device on the heat-using side, the machine learning apparatus including: a state variable obtaining unit configured to obtain state variables including an operation condition of the device on the heat-providing side, an operation condition of the device on the heat-using side, and a value correlated with a heat quantity required by the device on the heat-using side; a learning unit configured to perform learning by associating the state variables with the at least one of the temperature and the flowrate; and a reward calculating unit configured to calculate a reward, based on a total value of a power consumption of the device on the heat-providing side, a power consumption of the device on the heat-using side, and a power consumption of the thermal transfer apparatus, wherein the learning unit performs learning by using the reward.

Machine learning apparatus, air conditioning system, and machine learning method

In an air-conditioning system including an outside air processing device and an air-conditioning device, an operation of either one of the outside air processing device or the air-conditioning device is stopped if a temperature/humidity state that is at least either the temperature or humidity of air in a target space is within a predetermined range and if the load factor of at least one of the outside air processing device or the air-conditioning device is below a predetermined lower limit.

Air-conditioning system

When an outdoor air handler performs a heating humidifying operation and an air conditioner performs a cooling operation, a control device adjusts at least one of a to-be-supplied air temperature of the outdoor air handler, a to-be-supplied air flow rate of the outdoor air handler, a to-be-supplied water flow rate of the outdoor air handler, and a cooling temperature that is a temperature at an air heat exchanger of the air conditioner. The control device adjusts the to-be-supplied air temperature and the cooling temperature on the basis of dehumidification information, operation information, temperature information, and humidity information. The operation information is information regarding an operating state of the air conditioner.

Air conditioning system

It is an object of the present disclosure to collectively control an outdoor air handler and an air conditioner optimally. An air-conditioning system () includes an outdoor air handler () configured to adjust a temperature and a humidity of taken-in outdoor air and supply the air to a target space (SP, SP), an air conditioner () configured to adjust a temperature of air in the target space (SP, SP), and a control unit (). The control unit () is configured to, in a case where one of the outdoor air handler () and the air conditioner () is in a non-temperature adjusting state in which the temperature of the air is not adjusted, change an air conditioning capacity of the other one of the outdoor air handler () and the air conditioner () compared with a case where the outdoor air handler () and the air conditioner () are in a temperature adjusting state in which the temperature of the air is adjusted.

An air-conditioning system includes an outside air conditioning device, an air conditioning device, and a machine learning apparatus, and includes a state variable acquiring unit configured to acquire state variables, a learning unit configured to perform learning by associating the state variables with at least either an operating capacity of the outside air conditioning device or an operating capacity of the air conditioning device, and a reward calculating unit configured to calculate a reward that correlates with a total of energy consumption of the outside air conditioning device and energy consumption of the air conditioning device. The learning unit performs the learning by using the reward calculated in a period determined in accordance with a time duration until the total of the energy consumption changes after at least either the operating capacity of the outside air conditioning device or the operating capacity of the air conditioning device has changed.

Air-conditioning system, machine learning apparatus, and machine learning method

Provided is an air conditioning system that achieves energy conservation and comfortableness. In the air conditioning system (), an outdoor-air conditioner () sucks outdoor-air (OA) and supplies the outdoor-air as supply air (SA) from an air handling unit (). An indoor-air conditioner () cools or heats indoor-air (IA) that is an air inside a target space (SP) by using an indoor unit () and supplies the air to the target space (SP). A general control unit () controls performs cooperative load control in which an operating capacity of the outdoor-air conditioner () and an operating capacity of the indoor-air conditioner () are controlled in cooperation in accordance with a status of the outdoor-air (OA), a status of the indoor-air (IA), an operation status of the outdoor-air conditioner (), and/or an operation status of the indoor-air conditioner (). The general control unit () controls, in the cooperative load control, at least one of a parameter of the outdoor-air conditioner () and a parameter of the indoor-air conditioner () such that a temperature or humidity of the indoor-air (IA) approaches a set value and also a total amount of power consumption of the outdoor-air conditioner () and power consumption of the indoor-air conditioner () is reduced.

A dehumidification system includes a first dehumidification unit having an outdoor air cooling heat exchanger, a second dehumidification unit using two adsorption heat exchangers such that an air passage is switched, and a third dehumidification unit having an adsorption rotor. Low-temperature low-humidity air cooled and dehumidified in the second dehumidification unit is supplied to the third dehumidification unit to reduce energy for recovery of the third dehumidification unit and to realize energy conservation in the dehumidification system and reduction in cost of the dehumidification system.

Dehumidification system

An air conditioning system processes sensible heat load and latent heat load of a target space, and adjusts temperature and humidity of the target space. The air conditioning system includes a cooling heat exchanger circulating a heat exchanging medium to cool and dehumidify air blown into the target space, a heater heating the air cooled and dehumidified by the heat exchanger, a staged variable speed fan creating a flow of the air blown into the target space through the heat exchanger and the heater, and a control unit. The control unit has a cooling adjusting unit adjusting a quantity of cooling supplied from the heat exchanging medium to the air in the heat exchanger, a heating adjusting unit adjusting a quantity of heating supplied from the heater to the air, and an air flow adjusting unit adjusting an air flow volume supplied by the fan.

Air conditioning system for adjusting temperature and humidity

A humidity control system includes three dehumidifiers. Each of the dehumidifiers alternately switches between first batch operation in which air whose moisture has been adsorbed in a first adsorption component is supplied to a room and air heated in a heat exchanger is exhausted to outside the room through a second adsorption component, and second batch operation in which air whose moisture has been adsorbed in the second adsorption component is supplied to the room and air heated in the heat exchanger is exhausted to outside the room through the first adsorption component. The system further includes: a controller allowing the switchings of the dehumidifiers to be performed at different timings; and a chamber collecting air to be supplied from the dehumidifiers to the room.

Humidity control system

Shift conversion of hydrogen-rich reformed gas produced by reaction including partial oxidation of feed gas in a reforming reaction section ( ) is made by its water gas shift reaction with shift conversion catalyst in a shift reaction section ( ) in order to reduce CO contained in the reformed gas and enhance the yield of hydrogen. In this case, for the purpose of enabling high-temperature reformed gas from the reforming reaction section ( ) to undergo the shift conversion as it is and thereby simplifying the construction of a shift conversion unit, the reformed gas from the reforming reaction section ( ) is introduced directly into a reformed gas passage ( ) of the shift reaction section ( ) and thereby undergoes the shift reaction while heat-exchanging with the feed gas.

Modifying device

When humidifying, almost to water vapor saturation, reformed gas that is supplied to a hydrogen electrode of a solid polymer type fuel cell ( ) and air that is supplied to an oxygen electrode of the fuel cell ( ), heating for obtaining water vapor to establish such saturation is not required. For the purpose of improving the thermal efficiency of a fuel cell system, water vapor contained in hydrogen electrode exhaust gas exhausted from the hydrogen electrode of the fuel cell ( ) is let to penetrate through a water vapor permeable membrane ( ), whereas water vapor contained either in air that is introduced into a partial oxidation reformation section ( ) or in oxygen electrode exhaust gas exhausted from the oxygen electrode is let to penetrate through the water vapor permeable membrane ( ) so that the water vapor is supplied to air that is supplied to the oxygen electrode of the fuel cell ( ).

Humidification apparatus for fuel cells

Hydrogen-rich reformed gas is produced by reaction including partial oxidation of feed gas in a reforming reaction section ( ). In this case, for the purpose of reducing temperature variations in the reforming reaction section ( ), improving the thermal efficiency thereof and providing a reformer (A) with a simple and compact construction, the reformer (A) is formed in a double-wall structure consisting of a housing ( ) and partitions ( ), ( ) inside of the housing ( ), the reforming reaction section ( ) is contained between the partitions ( ), ( ), and a feed gas passage ( ) is provided by the space between the housing ( ) and the partition ( ). In this manner, the feed gas passage ( ) is provided in the surrounding area of the reforming reaction section ( ). The reforming reaction section ( ) is thermally insulated by the feed gas passage ( ) so that temperature variations in the reforming reaction section ( ) can be reduced. The feed gas in the feed gas passage ( ) is preheated by heat of reaction in the reforming reaction section ( ) so that the self-recovery of heat can improve thermal efficiency of the reformer (A). In addition, a preheater for preheating the feed gas can be formed integrally between the feed gas passage ( ) and the reforming reaction section ( ) thereby compacting the construction of the reformer.

Partial oxidation reformer

A fluid transferring apparatus achieves a two-dimensional flow of fluid with high efficiency and at low noise by imitating a Weis-Fogh mechanism with use of a simple mechanism. In the fluid transferring apparatus, a wing assembly X comprised of a predetermined number of plate-like wings is provided in a transverse direction of a flow passage. A wing assembly X is supported by a link of a crank mechanism which is constituted of a crank rotated by a motor, a slider slidable in a direction orthogonal to a direction of a flow in a flow passage and the link coupling the crank with the slider, so that rotational motion of the crank is transmitted to the slider as a reciprocal movement. While an angle of attack of each wing is changed by oscillating action of the link, each wing is moved in a transverse direction of the flow passage as the link is reciprocated, thereby achieving transfer of fluid.
