A fuel cell stack system is configured to uniformly supply a fuel or an electrolytic solution to each of fuel cell elements, and an electronic device using the fuel cell stack system are provided. An electrolytic solution channel allowing an electrolytic solution to flow therethrough is arranged between a fuel electrode and an oxygen electrode, and a fuel channel allowing a fuel to flow therethrough is arranged outside of the fuel electrode. The electrolytic solution channels and the fuel channels of all fuel cell elements are connected in series to one another. That is, the fuel or the electrolytic solution emitted from an outlet of the fuel channel or the electrolytic solution channel of one fuel cell element enters into an inlet of the fuel channel or the electrolytic solution channel of the next fuel cell element through a connection channel. In addition, either or both of the electrolytic solution channels and the fuel channels of some or all of the fuel cell elements may be connected in series to one another.

A three-dimensional terrain-information generating system extracts a road region from altitude information arranged on a two-dimensional plane and adjusts the position and scale by matching the road region with a building/road map. Altitude information of a road region with a width that is greater than or equal to a preset width is obtained from the building/road map, and the obtained altitude information is arranged in a three-dimensional space. Ribbon forms that may intersect one another at a plurality of points are generated. Altitude information of a region such as a park that is almost free from the effects of a building on the three-dimensional terrain is obtained from the building/road map. Subsequently, a surface including such altitude information is created, thereby generating three-dimensional terrain data.

A display device including a camera is used by inserting it in the direction of a user's gaze. Alternatively, an image of the same area as that of a scene from a windshield of an automobile may be obtained and the image may be displayed by using an information providing apparatus installed in the automobile. A system provides information to the user by adding a two-dimensional or three-dimensional computer graphics object to an image taken by the camera. The information is directly added to a scene in the direction of the user's gaze and is displayed to the user. Thus the user can easily understand the relationship between the information and the position to which the information is added.

An information presentation apparatus creates a three-dimensional animation of a specific object in a three-dimensional virtual space on the basis of the human characteristic of paying more attention to a moving object. A user's attention can be drawn to a specific object, such as a destination building, in the virtual space displayed on the screen. Irrespective of whether the specific object is selected by the user or designated at the system side to which the user's attention is to be drawn, the user can easily detect the attention-drawing object.

A three-dimensional model generating system obtains altitude information corresponding to a specified building region on a building/road map. On the basis of the altitude distribution in the building region, a plane corresponding to a connected subset of observation data is obtained. After all pieces of observation data are allocated to planes, the planes are interconnected to form a simply-connected polyhedron serving as a building model. Accordingly, individual pieces of building information, which are free from the effects of a building-located region, are generated on the basis of three-dimensional terrain information and a set of planes.

A base animation storing unit stores base animation, generated for each grid point in a range of adaptation with regard to a certain motion. A synthesizing unit starts adaptation motion synthesizing in the event that an end effector exists within the range of adaptation. The synthesizing unit calculates a weight array based on the position of a target and the position of each grid point, and adds base animation with the calculation results as linear addition coefficients, thereby generating the desired animation. Accordingly, animation cooperatively display with multiple objects of display can be effectively generated.

In computer graphics, polygons constituting two polygon models are matched to realize spontaneous morphing. Each of first and second polygon models is split into corresponding parts, such as ear, eye or face, and polygons making up a part of the first polygon model are matched to polygons making up a part of the second polygon corresponding to the first-stated part. A connection relational graph, as a two-dimensional graph representing the connection relation between polygons making up the respective parts, is prepared from the two matched parts, and the connection relational graphs of the two matched parts are rendered co-morphic to match the polygons constituting the two parts.
