A tape cassette includes a tape ejecting port for ejecting outside the tape with a separator being adhered to one of surfaces thereof, a tape conveying roller arranged at an upstream side of a tape conveying direction at the tape ejecting port, the tape conveying roller conveying roller pulling out and conveying the tape while getting in contact with the separator being adhered to one surface of the tape, a separator guiding portion for guiding the separator peeled off from the tape inwardly at the tape ejecting port along a peripheral surface of the tape conveying roller and a separator-take-up spool arranged so as to fix thereto a front end of the separator that has been guided inwardly along the peripheral surface of the tape conveying roller from the separator guiding portion and to take up the separator.

A method for producing a RFID label comprises conveying a first label base material which is transparent from a first holding portion holding the first label base material, forming an image on a surface of the first label base material, conveying a second label base material including at least one of a RFID antenna conductor and an IC chip from a second holding portion holding the second label base material and joining the second label base material and the first label base material on which an image has been formed together, wherein, when an image is formed on the first label base material, the image is formed on a surface of the first label base material, the surface being joined to the second label base material.

In a sheet package, the degree of stiffness of a side end portion on a side wall portion side making contact with a contact member in a storage portion of a printing unit is greater than the degree of stiffness of a side end portion on the side wall portion side that is pressed by a pressing guide member. Accordingly, when the sheet package is stored in the storage portion, even if the lid body is closed in a condition in which the sheet package is not loaded properly, that is, even if the side end portion of the sheet package is sandwiched between the lid body and the contact member, or a top face on the side on which the contact member is provided, the sheet package is never crushed and the sheet package can be correctly pushed into the storage portion by a pressing force of the lid body.

Paper cartridge for a printer

A package member () of a sheet package has a cut-in portion () which is formed by cutting it to a predetermined length from a cutout portion (), between a side wall portion () and a first wrapping portion (). Accordingly, distortion (movement) of the first wrapping portion () can be facilitated and pressing of sheets stored in the sheet package against a pickup roller can be achieved with an adequate degree of force.

A roll sheet has a release paper as a base sheet. A recording paper is attached to the release paper via an adhesive layer so that the recording paper can be peeled off from the release paper. First and second peel-away areas are formed on both side edges of the roll sheet in the widthwise direction thereof by peeling off both widthwise edges of the recording paper from the release paper to allow the release paper to be exposed at the both side edges of the roll sheet. Sensor marks are printed on the release paper as being entirely shifted from the peel-away areas. This ensures that the roll sheet has a uniform thickness over the entire area of each sensor mark, thereby ensuring that each sensor mark has uniformities in its reflectivity and transmittance with respect to incident light.

The disclosure provides a roll sheet holder for producing labels which can be easily put on a slim stick-type member used in foods without being wound on and adhered to the stick-type member, and be completely removed from the stick-type member. The roll sheet is made of a continuous thermal sheet having self-coloring property having no adhesive layer on its back side, and the like, and wound on a roll sheet holder with a back face facing outward. A plurality of encoder marks are provided on an edge of the back face of the roll sheet in a width direction, with predetermined pitch size in a feeding direction. The predetermined pitch size of the encoder marks is arranged to be equal to a length between cutting lines along which the printed roll sheet is cut. Behind the encoder marks in the feeding direction, a dog-leg shaped slits, projecting backward in the feeding direction are made in each substantially center between the cutting lines.

A sheet package is manufactured by folding a thin rectangular package member into a box-like shape and stores a stack of a plurality of cut-sheet type heat-sensitive sheets of small size, for example, of A6 or A7 size. A user purchases a sheet package marketed in a box-like shape, opens a lid portion and folds it back towards a bottom side. Then, an insertion portion of the lid portion is inserted into a slit in the bottom portion of the package member so as to expose sheets stored inside, and the sheets are loaded together with the package member in a sheet storage portion of a printer.

A rolled-print-medium holder device includes an axial member, a holding member, an outer fitting portion, an inner fitting portion, and a weld portion. The holding member is fixed to at least one of both axial ends of the axial member and holds both sides of a rolled print medium. The outer fitting portion is provided at either one of the axial member and the holding member. The outer fitting portion has an inner peripheral surface. The inner fitting portion is provided at the other one of the axial member and the holding member. The inner fitting portion has an outer peripheral surface. The inner fitting portion is fitted into the outer fitting portion. The weld portion is provided at at least one of the inner fitting portion and the outer fitting portion. The weld portion at least fixes the outer peripheral surface to the inner peripheral surface by ultrasonic welding.
