An injection molded article is provided having a junction surface where side end surfaces of two thermoplastic resin members are bonded by injection molding one of the members onto the side end surface of the other member, wherein directions (A) of respective junction line segments with respect to the normal line of a front surface or a back surface of one thermoplastic resin member are different and the direction (B) of a third junction line segment is inclined with respect to the normal line, or the directions (A) are the same in the first junction line segment and the second junction line segment and are different between the first junction line segment and the third junction line segment and the direction (B) is inclined with respect to the normal line.

Injection molded article and production method thereof

A composite shaped article with uneven configuration junction face, comprising a resin member and a plate member composed of topside and underside arranged surface layer base materials integrated with a core layer base material interposed therebetween, the plate member and the resin member joined together with an uneven configuration at the side end faces facing each other. In the composite shaped article, the length of actual junction line formed along the unevenness of the uneven configuration is 1.05 mm or greater per mm of a protrusion passage line consisting of a continuity of line segment linking neighboring protrusion tops with each other in the uneven configuration drawn by the surface layer base materials.

Composite shaped article and process for manufacturing the same

This invention provides a prepreg excellent in productivity, having the drapability to allow easy shaping according to a mold, excellent in resin impregnation, and excellent in handling convenience. This invention also provides a molded article with excellent mechanical properties obtained by molding the prepreg. The prepreg of this invention is a prepreg including reinforcing fibers and a thermoplastic resin, characterized in that an air-permeable layer (B) composed of the thermoplastic resin is laminated on a continuous reinforcing fiber bundle (A), and that the reinforcing fiber bundle (A) and the layer (B) composed of the thermoplastic resin are bonded at their interface.

The present invention relates to carbon fiber reinforced resin compositions comprising the following essential components (A), (B) and (C), and to molding compounds and molded products made by processing and molding the carbon fiber reinforced resin composition; Component (A): 0.01 to 0.7% by weight of vapor grown carbon fiber and/or nanotubes based on 100% by weight of the carbon fiber reinforced resin composition, of which the average diameter of single fiber ranges from 1 to 45 nm; Component (B): 6 to 40% by weight of carbon fiber based on 100% by weight of the carbon fiber reinforced resin composition, of which the average diameter of single fiber ranges from 1 to 20 &#x3bc;m; and Component (C): resin. The present invention provides carbon fiber reinforced resin composition, molding compounds and molded products therefrom, having good conductivity, mechanical properties and moldability by the above constitution.
