The LCD module according to the present disclosure includes a liquid crystal cell and a mold frame accommodating the liquid crystal cell. The mold frame includes a support supporting the liquid crystal cell in a thickness direction of the liquid crystal cell and a guide for limiting movement of the liquid crystal cell in a planar direction of the liquid crystal cell. The guide includes a corner-part guide disposed to face a corner part on the corner part of at least one side of the liquid crystal cell, and an inner-part guide facing an inner part being a part of the side other than the corner part, and being adjacent to the corner-part guide with distance. A gap between the liquid crystal cell and the corner-part guide is larger than a gap between the liquid crystal cell and the inner-part guide.

LCD module

This is a cathode ray tube having a panel provided with a colored layer on an outer surface of a face portion, wherein an emission luminance ratio is 75% or higher in a lowest part relative to a highest part, and a diffuse reflectance ratio is 90% or higher in a lowest part relative to a highest part in an image display area of the face portion. Due to this configuration, a cathode ray tube with a natural appearance can be obtained in which a luminance difference or a contrast difference is not perceived in the entire area of the face portion.

In a method of treating a surface of a face panel for an image display including forming a film on the surface using coating materials, the film is formed of at least two layers including a first layer formed by a spray coating method and a second layer formed by a spin coating method to be superposed on the first layer. Thus, a face plate having antireflection/antistatic effects and providing high-resolution images can be obtained with high efficiency.

Method of treating surface of face panel for image display

A surface treatment film composed of a conductive film with a surface resistance of 1&times;10 &OHgr;/&square; or more and an antireflection film is provided on the surface of a glass panel. A ground electrode is provided on the surface treatment film so as to be electrically connected with the conductive film. The ground electrode is grounded in a circuit manner. An area of the surface treatment film covered with the ground electrode is set at 500 mm or more. Thus, even in the case where the conductive film has a resistance of 1&times;10 &OHgr;/&square; or more, an effect of suppressing a leakage electric field to 1.0 V/m or less, which satisfies the TCO guideline, can be realized.

Cathode-ray tube

The present invention relates to a color cathode ray tube that reduces a leakage electric field and a maximum instantaneous current generated in a bulb at the time of electric discharge and provides a stable connection of conductive layers with different specific resistance. A first conductive layer is formed on the entire area of an inner wall of a funnel including a contact portion of a first spring supported by a shadow mask structure, an anode button and a contact portion of a second spring supported by a final electrode of an electron gun. A second conductive layer with a specific resistance lower than that of the first conductive layer is formed on the surface of the first conductive layer within the range extending from the anode button to the contact portion of the first spring. The contact portion of the first spring contacts the second conductive layer, thereby electrically connecting the shadow mask structure to the second conductive layer, and the contact portion of the second spring contacts the first conductive layer, thereby electrically connecting the final electrode to the first conductive layer.
