It is aimed to provide a strain detector having a fewer number of mounting parts and high operation efficiency and usability. The strain detector is provided with a cylindrical strain generator to be strained upon receiving a load, a resistor element which is arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the strain generator and whose resistance varies depending on the amount of strain, a signal processing circuit connected with the resistor element and screw portions arranged above and below the strain generator to sandwich the strain generator. The strain generator and the screw portions are integrated.

Strain detector having a column-shaped strain generator

A strain detector includes a bridge circuit having at least two strain resistance elements, a substrate, a first fixed member, and a second fixed member. The substrate has a circuit portion electrically connected to the strain resistance elements. The strain resistance elements are arranged on the substrate. The first fixed member is fixed to a center of an area, where an outer periphery of the area is set at a position at which the strain resistance elements are arranged. The second fixed member is fixed outside the position, where the strain resistance elements are arranged at the substrate. A center of an axis of the first fixed member, a center of an axis of the second fixed member, and the center of the area are positioned on a straight line, and the first fixed member and the second fixed member are arranged on two mutually opposed surfaces of the substrate.

Distortion detector

A fixing member is composed of an upper washer and a lower washer; and a sensor substrate is sandwiched and held by the upper and lower washers. A strain-detecting element is disposed on the sensor substrate. A strain sensor as configured above is fixed onto a measurement target via the fixing member. Accordingly, the strain sensor does not generate an output signal when no external force is applied, demonstrating stable characteristics.

Strain sensor

The present invention provides a strain detector improved in output characteristic, in which no internal stress is generated in strain resistance elements even with it fixed on a fixing member. The strain detector is configured in that a detection hole is provided nearly at the center of a insulating substrate, a fixing hole is formed at the position of peripheral end, a portion around the detection hole is pressed by a pressing member, one holding member and the other holding member are provided with fixing holes opposing to the fixing holes of the insulating substrate, and the peripheral end of the insulating substrate is fixed by the fixing member inserted. Accordingly, the detection hole in the insulating substrate is peripherally displaceable in a vertical direction with respect to one holding member and the other holding member.

Strain detector having a displaceable insulating substrate

A strain sensor improved in detection accuracy without variation of bending stresses applied to the strain detecting element. The sensor substrate has a first fixing hole at one end and a second fixing hole at the other end, a detecting hole at the center, and at least one strain detecting element on the upper surface or lower surface thereof. The first fixing member is press-fitted into the first fixing hole. The second fixing member is press-fitted into the second fixing hole. The detecting member is press-fitted into the detecting hole. Further, when an external force is applied to the detecting member, strain generated due to the positional shift of the detecting member is detected by the strain detecting element with respect to the first fixing member and the second fixing member.

Strain sensor with fixing members

A non-contact position sensor includes a plurality of magnets, at least one magnetic sensor element, and an object to be detected. The plurality of magnets form a magnetic circuit which includes a U-shaped first magnetic body, a U-shaped second magnetic body, and the plurality of magnets. The plurality of magnets are disposed between the two U-shaped magnetic bodies. The magnetic sensor element is held by the two U-shaped magnetic bodies.

Non-contact magnetic position sensor

A non-contact type position sensor enhanced in characteristics. A first magnetic element has a first magnetic detecting part at one end side thereof. A first magnet has one pole thereof fixed to the other side of the first magnetic element. A second magnetic element is positioned underneath the first magnetic element, and has a second magnetic detecting part at one end side thereof, and has the other pole of the first magnet at the other end side thereof. A third magnetic element is positioned substantially on circles concentric with the first magnetic element, and has a third magnetic detecting part at the one end side thereof. A second magnet has one pole fixed to the other end side of the third magnetic element. A fourth magnetic element is positioned underneath the third magnetic element, and has a fourth magnetic detecting part at one end side thereof, and also has the other pole of the second magnet at the other end side thereof. A magnetic detecting element is positioned between the first and second magnetic detecting parts, and is positioned between the third and fourth magnetic detecting parts.

Non-contact type position sensor

A position sensor includes a shaft to be detected, a first magnet being fixed to the shaft and having a first polarity vector parallel to an axis of the shaft, a second magnet being disposed opposite to the first magnet and having a second polarity vector crossing the first polarity vector substantially orthogonally three-dimensionally, and first and second semiconductor magnetoresistive elements being disposed over the second magnet and functioning as a magnetoelectric transducer having a magnetosensitive axis substantially orthogonal to the first and second polarity vectors. The first and second elements generate an output responsive to an axial movement of the shaft.
