A current sensor includes a battery terminal portion that is conductive and is fastened to a battery post; a shunt resistor for current detection, which is formed in a plate shape and is electrically connected to the battery terminal portion; and a circuit board that is formed in a plate shape and is electrically connected to the shunt resistor, in which the shunt resistor is erected on a main surface of the circuit board. With this configuration, since the shunt resistor and the circuit board can be arranged so as not to face each other and not confront each other, the influence of heat generated by the shunt resistor can be suppressed.

Current sensor

The current sensor includes a battery terminal part that has electrical conductivity and is fastened to a battery post constituting a negative electrode of a battery, and a shunt resistor that is conductively connected to the battery terminal part via a joint part, the shunt resistor including a first detection terminal and a second detection terminal for detecting an electric current. The battery terminal part includes a third detection terminal for detecting a voltage of the battery between the joint part and the battery post. As a result, the current sensor can properly detect a voltage of the battery together with an electric current.

A current sensor includes a battery terminal portion that is conductive and is fastened to a battery post that extends along a first direction; a sensor unit that is located side by side with the battery terminal portion along a second direction that intersects the first direction and is electrically connected to the battery terminal portion to detect a current; and a housing that has an insulating property and embeds the sensor unit, in which the battery terminal portion includes a pair of plate-shaped portions, and the pair of plate-shaped portions are embedded in the housing with end portions on the sensor unit side in the second direction spaced apart from each other along the first direction.

Provided is a sensor including a first bus bar, a second bus bar, and a shunt resistor including a shunt resistor body part whose one end portion is bonded to the first bus bar and the other end portion is bonded to the second bus bar and a detection terminal extending from the shunt resistor body part.

Sensor and shunt resistor

A current sensor includes a main current path in which a main current flows, an auxiliary current path in which an auxiliary current flows, a magnetic detection element detecting intensity of a magnetic field in a magnetic detection direction and disposed around a detection target portion which is a part of the auxiliary current path, and a magnetic shield member disposed to surround the detection target portion and the magnetic detection element. The current sensor is configured to measure a magnitude of the auxiliary current flowing through the detection target portion based on the intensity of the magnetic field detected by the magnetic detection element. The auxiliary current path branches from the main current path and has a smaller cross-sectional area than that of the main current path.

A liquid surface level sensor includes a housing, a float located on a liquid surface, a magnet that rotates in accordance with up-and-down movement of the float, an arm joined with the float and the magnet, and a circuit unit. The circuit unit includes a sensing element that detects rotation of the magnet, and a wireless communication circuit that outputs a liquid surface level detected by the sensing element to a device installed in a vehicle. The circuit unit includes generating element that generate electric power from a change in magnetic flux caused by the rotation of the magnet, and a generation circuit that supplies electric power generated by the generating element to the sensing element and the wireless communication circuit as drive electric power. The circuit unit is included inside the housing in a state isolated from the outside.

Liquid surface level sensor

A current detecting device includes a busbar, a magneto-electric converting element that outputs a signal in response to a magnetic field generated from the busbar, a housing that accommodates the busbar and the magneto-electric converting element, and a shield plate that is attached to the housing. The shield plate is formed in the U-shape in cross section in which an opening is formed between leading ends of a pair of side plates. The leading ends of the pair of side plates of the shield plate are located more inside than an opening peripheral edge of an opening portion of the outer frame portion so that a predetermined distance is secured between the leading ends of the pair of side plates of the shield plate and the opening peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer frame portion.

Current detecting device and attaching structure thereof

A liquid level detecting device includes a first detecting part that has a first electrode extending in a vertical direction in the tank and opposing to a ground electrode and detects a first electrostatic capacity between the first electrode and the ground electrode, a second detecting part that has a second electrode extending in the vertical direction in the tank and opposing to the ground electrode and detects a second electrostatic capacity between the second electrode and the ground electrode, and a difference calculating part that calculates a difference between the first electrostatic capacity detected by the first detecting part and the second electrostatic capacity detected by the second detecting part as a capacity difference and determines whether the liquid level in the tank is above a warning threshold.

Liquid level detecting device

A current detection apparatus includes two magnetic detectors that are arranged oppositely on a front surface and a back surface of a board which is located above a current path in order to detect a strength of a magnetic field, an electromagnetic shielding frame member that is mounted on the current path so that the two magnetic detectors and a part of the current path are accommodated inside the electromagnetic shielding frame member, and a control circuit that determines whether a failure which occurs in either of the two magnetic detectors from a difference between magnetic fields detected by the two magnetic detectors, respectively. Sensitivities of the two magnetic detectors are made adjusted so that current values outputted from the two magnetic detectors depending on detected magnetic fields are identical to each other in a normal state.

Current detection apparatus

A current sensor for measuring a current supplied to a conductor includes a case which accommodates an electrical parts therein, and a cover attached to the case. A groove part is provided on an outer surface of at least one of the case and the cover to allow the conductor to pass through the groove part. When the cover is attached to the case, the conductor arranged on the groove part is sandwiched between the case and the cover. A width of the groove part becomes narrower toward an interior side thereof.

A current sensor structure includes a substantially ring-shaped magnetic core comprising layers of magnetic plates to be accommodated in an insulating case and secured to the case via a molding compound. Projections protruding in the magnetic plate's thickness direction are provided either on a front-side wall portion of the case in the thickness direction or on a surface of the magnetic core in the thickness direction. By virtue of, the surface of the magnetic core is supported by the front-side wall portion via the projections, leaving a gap between this surface and the wall portion to the same height as that of the projections. The gap is filled with the molding compound. Dilative and contractive deformation of the case in the direction orthogonal to the thickness direction is absorbed by the molding compound in the gap to prevent the stress from acting upon the magnetic core.

Current sensor structure

An assembling structure is provided which is capable of greatly reducing the material cost, is easy-to-assemble, and can be made smaller. The sensor body is provided on a lower face with a protrusion, which comes into contact with an upper face of the busbar when the sensor body is mounted on the busbar. The busbar is provided with a through-hole passing through the busbar in a vertical direction. A leading end of the protrusion, which passes through the through-hole when the sensor body is mounted on the busbar, is heat-fused and adheres to the circumference of the through-hole.

Assembly structure of current detection device

An assembling structure of a current detection apparatus includes: a bus bar; a sensor main body having a magnetism detection element which detects a magnetism generated from the bus bar; a housing having a sensor compartment which accommodates the sensor main body; a magnetism shield member mounted externally on the housing; a cover that holds the bus bar and the magnetism shield member by the at least part of the upper surface of the cover and the lower surface of the housing therebetween; a projecting portion formed on the cover, which projects upwards from the upper surface of the cover; a hole formed in the bus bar, through which the projecting portion of the cover is inserted; and a hole formed in the lower surface of the housing, which is adapted to fit on the projecting portion which passes through the hole in the bus bar.
