A work table is provided for mounting a PCB substrate. A cutting tool for cutting the PCB substrates a pin dispenser for inserting a pin into a hole formed in the PCB substrate, and a solder applicator for applying solder on the PCB substrate are attached on a work head. X, Y and Z axes driving means are provided for moving the work head in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction. A control unit responds to data signals for operating the cutting tool, pin dispenser and solder applicator for controlling operations of the X, Y and Z axes driving means, cutting tool, pin dispenser, and solder applicator. Thus, the PCB substrate is made into a printed circuit board.

A printed circuit board working machine includes a working table on which a printed circuit board substrate is positioned and fixed, a spindle which is disposed above the working table to be movable horizontally and vertically and to which a predetermined cutting tool is detachably mounted, a controlling unit for controlling the movement of the spindle in accordance with a predetermined cutting data and a data processing unit operatively connected to the controlling unit. The data processing unit includes a data input circuit into which a circuit pattern data is inputted, a contour data preparation circuit for preparing a contour data of a circuit pattern to be prepared from the circuit pattern data from the data input circuit, a hatching data preparation circuit for preparing a hatching data to carry out a hatching operation with a predetermined width in a predetermined direction for working a residual portion of a circuit pattern to be prepared in accordance with the contour data from the contour data preparation circuit, and a cut data preparation circuit for preparing a cut data by continuously connecting adjoining hatching data at end portions thereof in accordance with the hatching data from the hatching data preparation circuit and transmitting the this prepared cut data to the controlling unit.

A liquid crystal projector projects an image based on video data inputted from the external. The liquid crystal projector is provided with: a timing control device for outputting a predetermined timing signal synchronous with a horizontal scanning period of the video data; a projection light source for emitting a projection light; a color separation device, coupled to the timing control device, for separating the projection light into R, G and B components to output them in a time divisional manner on the basis of the timing signal; a liquid crystal light valve panel, coupled to the timing control device, for displaying images respectively corresponding to the R, G and B components in a time divisional manner on the basis of the video data and the timing signal, and for converting an output light incident from the color separation device to rays of a projection light corresponding to the displayed images; and a projection lens for magnifying and projecting an output light from the liquid crystal light valve panel.

A cooling device has a container filled with a coolant. A front side and a rear side of the container are transparent. A heatsink is provided for cooling the container. A liquid crystal panel is attached to one of the sides. Convection enhancing means is provided for enchancing convection of the coolant in the container.

Illuminating light from a light source is reflected by a reflector and collimated by a condenser lens and then applied onto the back of a liquid crystal cell. The liquid crystall cell has attached on its light source side an optical sheet which consists of a large number of optical elements such as convex or concave lenses aligned with picture elements or pixels of the liquid crystal cell. The optical elements each converge the rays of light from the light source onto each of the pixels, so that the rays that would otherwise strike a matrix circuit section and a black matrix layer will be focused on and passed through the pixels. This enhances the brightness of an image formed on the front of the liquid crystal cell and also prevents temperature rise in the liquid crystal cell because the black matrix layer and the matrix circuit section, components of the liquid crystal cell, are not struck and heated by the incoming light rays.
