A light control unit including a light control sheet including a first transparent electrode layer, a second transparent electrode layer, and a light control layer formed between the first and second transparent electrode layers and including a liquid crystal composition, and at least one first connection member that connects the first transparent electrode layer and a power supply. The light control sheet includes a light control region where the light control layer is located and at least one first region contiguous to the light control region in a plan view of the light control sheet. The first connection member includes a first wiring member connected to a first conductive adhesive layer formed on the light control sheet in the first region. The first wiring member includes a wiring layer that has a conductive patterned end portion where the wiring layer makes contact with the first conductive adhesive layer.

Light control unit

A touch panel including a transparent dielectric layer having a front surface and a reverse surface opposite to the front surface, first electrodes each extended in a first direction of a pixel matrix and formed on the front surface of the transparent dielectric layer such that the first electrodes are arranged in a second direction of the pixel matrix which crosses with the first direction, and second electrodes each extended in the second direction and formed on the reverse surface of the transparent dielectric layer such that the second electrodes are arranged in the first direction. Each of the first electrodes includes first main electrode wirings and first sub electrode wirings. Each of the second electrode includes second main electrode wirings and second sub electrode wirings. The first main electrode wirings cross the second main electrode wirings when viewed from the front surface of the dielectric layer.

Touch panel and display apparatus

A transparent conductive laminate including a first electrode layer including first electrodes connected with first wirings, and a second electrode layer including second electrodes connected with second wirings. One or more first wirings form a reference connection element, and one or more first wirings form a branch connection element adjacent to the reference connection element and has a path branching from that of the reference connection element. The first and/or second electrode layer includes a correction electrode which functions as a correction pattern structure that reduces a time constant difference between the reference connection element and the branch connection element. The correction electrode is positioned in the first and/or second electrode layer at a location which faces the reference connection element with a transparent dielectric layer interposed therebetween. The correction electrode has an electric potential different from that of the first or second wiring that faces the correction electrode.

Transparent conductive laminate, touch panel and display device

A touch sensor electrode includes a transparent dielectric substrate, first electrodes each including first capacitive electrode parts, second electrodes each including second capacitive electrode parts, first dummy parts each including first dummy wires, and second dummy parts each including a plurality of second dummy wires. In plan view perpendicular to the transparent dielectric substrate, first capacitive electrode parts face respective second dummy parts, and second capacitive electrode parts face respective first dummy parts. A combination of first electrode wires and second dummy wires forms a first section of a lattice pattern, and the first electrode wires form line segments different from those formed by second dummy wires. A combination of second electrode wires and first dummy wires forms a second section of the lattice pattern, and the second electrode wires form line segments different from those formed by the first dummy wires.

Touch sensor electrode, touch panel, and display device

A touch sensor electrode includes first and second layers and a substrate. The first layer has first strip electrodes along a first direction. Each of the first strip electrodes includes a first pad and a first group including first electrode lines. The second layer has second strip electrodes along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The second strip electrodes each include a second group including second electrode lines. As viewed perpendicular to the substrate, one cell is a region in which one first group three-dimensionally crosses one second group, and the cells are arranged along the second array direction in each of the first strip electrodes. The cell placed closest to the first pad is a first closest cell. The first group includes, in the first closest cell, a first unconnected line not connected to the first pad and a first connected line connected to the first pad.

An electrode for a touch sensor, including strip electrodes arranged in an arrangement direction with a space therebetween, wherein each of the strip electrodes is made of a group of electrode wires spaced from one another and formed such that a total area of the electrode wires in each of the strip electrodes is the same, the strip electrodes include an end strip electrode and a non-end strip electrode, the end strip electrode being located in at least one end portion in the arrangement direction, and the strip electrodes are formed such that the end strip electrode has an area ratio different from an area ratio of the non-end strip electrode, where the area ratio of each of the strip electrodes is defined as a ratio of the total area of the electrode wires in each of the strip electrodes to an area of each of the strip electrodes.

Electrodes for a touch sensor, touch panel and display unit

A board wiring fault detection device has an analog-to-digital converter for receiving an optionally set test signal output from a peripheral device, a first memory for storing the test signal, a second memory for storing a predicted data item to be compared to the test signal stored in the first memory, the predicted data item being indicative of a no fault state of a board wiring, and a comparator for comparing test signal to the predicted data item in the first and second memories. The comparator outputs a comparison result to the outside. The peripheral device outputs the test signal upon every release of a reset signal and performs processing.
