According to one aspect of the present invention, an input device includes: a substrate; first detection electrodes; second detection electrodes; a first connection electrode; an insulator; and a second connection electrode. The first detection electrodes are provided on or above the substrate and arrayed along a first direction. Disclosed is a light source device which is made compact while suppressing increase in non-uniformity of brightness caused by existence of a non-light emitting portion between a plurality of light sources. A light source device is characterized in that a plurality of light diffusers have a first light diffuser located in front of a first light source in the light exit direction closely thereto, and a second light diffuser located in front of a second light source in the light exit direction closely thereto. The first light diffuser includes a first light absorbing material which absorbs visible light emitted from the first light source more easily than visible light emitted from the second light source, and the second light diffuser includes a second light absorbing material which absorbs visible light emitted from the second light source more easily than visible light emitted from the first light source.

According to one embodiment of the invention, a display device comprises a display region including a plurality of pixel regions and a demarcating pattern of the pixel regions. The display device further comprises a first substrate having a first main surface; a plurality of first detection electrodes formed on the first main surface; and a plurality of second detection electrodes formed on the first main surface. The display device further comprises a plurality of first connection electrodes formed on the first main surface and a plurality of second connection electrodes formed on the first connection electrodes via the demarcating pattern. Each of the first connection electrodes connects the first detection electrodes adjacent to each other; and each of the second connection electrodes connects the second detection electrodes adjacent to each other.

An object of the present invention is to provide a light semitransmitting type liquid crystal display device which avoids a decrease of contrast due to backscattering in a reflective type display mode. In a light semitransmitting type liquid crystal display device: a group of bumps is formed on a glass substrate and the group of bumps is coated with a light semitransmitting film and an orientation layer; a color filter, an overcoat layer, transparent electrodes and an orientation layer are formed on a glass substrate; the glass substrates are opposed to each other via liquid crystal; and a first retardation film, a second retardation film and a polarizer plate are sequentially formed outside the glass substrate.
